Mar 7, 2019This game's strongest aspect is without question its captivating story. Too bad the quality of the voice acting is all over the place. Same goes for the character models which don't suit the rest of the graphical qualities. That being said, the game is a relatively short but entertaining title. If you own a PlayStation VR headset the game's creepy atmosphere is taken to a whole new level.

Feb 16, 2019Intruders: Hide and Seek offers an experience whose most attractive points lie on the shoulders of its characters and a fine balance between the way it uses the tension and the narration of the plot. The story is told in a fluid way, respecting the intelligence of the player in order to let him be the one who is in charge of connecting the dots to solve the mystery behind the game.

Feb 12, 2019While there are a few rough edges, Intruders: Hide and Seek is well worth a look for stealth fans seeking something different. Crawling around in the shadows of your family’s ultra-lux vacation home with only your wits standing between your family and certain doom is far more engaging than I expected. Despite some wooden performances and a rough checkpoint system, Intruders is fun and amusing. A great game for a snowy afternoon.

Feb 17, 2019Overall, it doesn’t do anything particularly new, but it’s very enjoyable on PS VR. It is quite short, but also intense.

Feb 26, 2019Intruders: Hide and Seek is a short game focused around one thing, and it does it pretty well. The hiding, seeking and sneaking gameplay works, and developers Tessera Studios interweave it with a short, decent story and not too much else to overly complicate things. The characters look like demonic dolls and the voice acting is scary for all the wrong reasons, but luckily they never play enough of a role to bring this cat-and-mouse affair down too much. If you’re looking for a stealth VR title with solid gameplay and a decent story, seek no further – Intruders: Hide and Seek is a worthy VR title hiding in plain sight.

Mar 5, 2019As a VR experience, however, Intruders is jarring and involving in equal measure. Most importantly, the developers understand how to create the experience of being a child in a high-pressure situation — everything is too big, too scary, and too fast. It’s only by resolve, wit, and bravery that the little boy can survive the night and save his family, and Intruders makes players work for it by putting them through some genuinely frightening situations. There are emotions that only VR can get players to feel, and Intruders is built to push those exact buttons.

Feb 21, 2019Intruders Hide and Seek is, probably, one of the best games from PS Talents, the spanish videogame incubator project from PlayStation, at least from the production values: graphics, sound, art, PS VR usage... A hide & seek game with a mortal twist, well executed, but far from perfect: it's a short game (2-3 hours), with long loading times...
-
Feb 15, 2019One of the best stealth based games available for PSVR (although you can play without it)… but only lasts about three hours though.
-
Feb 27, 2019Intruders: Hide and Seek is not a mediocre production, but presents some structural fragility that does not allow it to scale the PlayStation VR video game Olympus.
-
Feb 12, 2019Intruders is a welcome case of less is more. It’s an engaging little short that largely keeps its ambitions in check with enjoyable if unremarkable sneaking. You likely won’t remember much about Intruders a week or two past playing it, but it keeps you hooked while it lasts. For a home invasion game, it’s perhaps just a little too safe.

Apr 8, 2019Horror continues to be a real winner in VR. The tense atmosphere and the utter helplessness in playing as a child really translates through the headset. While the core gameplay is basic hide-and-seek, it's still a memorable, if short, experience. Though definitely one that is only worth experiencing in VR. While the whole game can be played without VR, it removes almost all of the tension in doing so. However, Intruders is horribly overshadowed by glaring technical issues. The repeated crashes and getting stuck destroys the immersion completely, something disastrous for a VR title.

Feb 21, 2019If you like stealth, definitely give Intruders a shot, but there are certainly better horror games out there.
-
Feb 15, 2019Intruders: Hide and Seek is a decent VR compatible stealth title. The gameplay is overly simple and it's a little light on tension but for its short running time you'll find some enjoyment giving the kidnappers the runaround, trying to find out exactly what their deal is.
-
Feb 15, 2019In its best moments it feels a little like Alien Isolation. Unfortunately those moments are hard to come by and not nearly enough.
-
Feb 21, 2019Intruders: Hide and Seek in spite of an intriguing concept pain to establish an atmosphere, a tension, the fault to a technique too much chick, but also because of a series of missions which seems only thought to lengthen the narrative of a title which although it lasts only four hours, has already seemed very long.
-
Feb 20, 2019A nice hide and seek concept that deserved inspired gameplay and some more polished graphics assets.
