First of all I have to clarify that I LOVE home invasion, is my favourite movie genre and I had always wonder why there was no games about that. Intruders might have its flaws but it's by far the best (maybe the only) game that makes you feel like really some just stormed your house.

The graphics are actually pretty good (specially for PSVR Game), the story is nothing new but it is effective. I knew some twist was coming but I didn't expect this particular one. I've heard some complains about the voice acting but I found it great (I played the game on Spanish, though), the soundtrack is great, so is the lighting.
Animations could be a little better but having in mind that this is not a AAA I thought they were just ok (good enough to keep the immersion). I wish it was longer (it took me around 3h 20 min to beat) but has a decent duration. I'll play at least once more to get all collectibles and the platinum trophy.

You might not like as much as I have but if you like: horror games, psychological thrillers, good stories and being tense/uptight at all times definitely give it a try.

    Best of the game: atmosphere
Worst of the game: you can sometimes see it didn't have a big budget.

I think I just found a little treasure here.
The first thing I have to say is that I didn't know this game until two days ago, no news, no pics.. nothing. The game cover really caught my attention and seeing the affordable price I decided to give it a try. I think it was one of the best surprises I've had in a long time. The story is about a boy named Ben who has to face three kidnappers

The game cover really caught my attention and seeing the affordable price I decided to give it a try. I think it was one of the best surprises I've had in a long time. The story is about a boy named Ben who has to face three kidnappers in his own house. I was expecting a game full of classic jumpscares that easilly ensures a good time and forget the game minutes later. With Intruders I found a game surprisingly detailed with an amazing story for a complete unknown game studio to me. I find difficult to find a game genre to place this game in, but it's the closest of living a thriller movie in my own skin I have lived. It has it's flaws obviously, the limitations of an small studio and it's not very long, but I REALLY loved the experience every minute. The story goes up and up and, not spoiling anything too important, it twisted my mind with the story like a big movie production.
The game mechanics are simple but effective and the game atmosphere is quite cool. The characters on the other hand could have been better (too cartoonish for my taste) but they never took me out of the immersion of the game.
Being that said, Intruders has been a really nice surprise for me and i'm expecting some more from this studio. Good job!

Come fan dei giochi horror, mi è piaciuto molto. Un'arte molto lavorata, un grande scenario e una storia SPETTACOLARE. Ottimo gioco, ideale per PSVR!

    Intruders: Hide and Seek
    A potential Hidden gem
Intruders Hide and Seek isn’t quite a horror game, but can definitely be a thrill to play through… This is a stealth game that can be played with or without playstation vr.. I didn’t get the opportunity to play in vr, but I feel this would’ve overall been a better vr experience than playing standard… Here you play as a young boy named

Intruders Hide and Seek isn’t quite a horror game, but can definitely be a thrill to play through…
This is a stealth game that can be played with or without playstation vr.. I didn’t get the opportunity to play in vr, but I feel this would’ve overall been a better vr experience than playing standard…
Here you play as a young boy named Ben, who discovers a secret room with his little sister just in time for their home to be broken into and your parents to be taken hostage..
your sister is sick and she needs her medicine, your parents are trapped and need your help, you leave your little sister behind, and you take a walkie talk and sneak around your parents mansion completing tasks to get help and get out of there…
This is a very short game that can be completed in under 3 hrs, however I feel like even this felt like too long for how little the game changes..
every task youre told to do here makes sense… but I feel there are no events that take place to keep the game feeling exciting, or progressively making the game feel more challenging.. . so by hour 2 of the 3 I was over it.. I wasn’t having fun sneaking around my house knowing exactly whats going to happen next.. im going to have to run to the room on the other side of the house where the intruders coincidentally all of a sudden want to hang out at… this is the most annoying part of this game.. there are 3 intruders searching the home for something.. the whole reason theyre there… but they don’t have a set path, they don’t feel like you can study them and work around them to get what you need in your home, you cant be like okay I have to get there but I know this person likes to be in this area, so im going to go up stairs to get around them, or through the basement hallway and up the other stairs.. .i feel like every stealth game needs a fun watch for patterns, learn routes and shifts of enemies…
Here however they do that thing where every time there is a new task the enemies move to the locations you need to be to just to be in the way… no reason other than that.. theres no story reason for them to be there.. theres no logical reason for them to be there, and it just breaks the immersion of the game.. it makes everything feel scripted when this intruders simulator had the potential of being something unpredictable and thrilling…
something you could play over and over again or have a friend or family member hop in and see if they come up with the same kind of strategies, but sadly it just turns into walk slowly to the next room so youre not heard sneak around the corner when theyre not looking and youre good… instead of timing routes you know theyre taking, peaking around corners to check your timing…
if you are seen you can run and hide and hope you don’t get caught, but if you do its no big deal.. the house is big but its not big enough to be annoying the be sent back to a checkpoint.. theres also a system youre taught in the beginning tutorial to make sure youre note heard when youre hiding, but this never popped up for me in the actual game…
Overall Intruders: Hide and Seek is an enjoyable game…
I just feel with tweeas to the ai, making them each have a set path they stick to, with possibly their own advantage and disadvantage over the others, rather than making them move to the spot you need to because on script.. this could’ve been a great game.

Overall a very enjoyable game. Personally I enjoyed the story from start to finish as it was full of tension, emotion and always a sense of "oh no what if...?". The only downside was several in game bugs and if crashed for me 5 times during my playthrough. The controls were slightly "clunky" too.

Aside from that, I highly recommend it. It's now currently on offer on PS Store in Europe too.

Creo que es una experiencia buena aunque mejorable. Que sea corto e inmerso o con las VR le da ese toque de calidad que a muchos juegos les falta.

Horror continues to be a real winner in VR. The tense atmosphere and the utter helplessness in playing as a child really translates through the headset. While the core gameplay is basic hide-and-seek, it's still a memorable, if short, experience. Though definitely one that is only worth experiencing in VR. While the whole game can be played without VR, it removes almost all of the tension in doing so. However, Intruders is horribly overshadowed by glaring technical issues. The repeated crashes and getting stuck destroys the immersion completely, something disastrous for a VR title.

This game's strongest aspect is without question its captivating story. Too bad the quality of the voice acting is all over the place. Same goes for the character models which don't suit the rest of the graphical qualities. That being said, the game is a relatively short but entertaining title. If you own a PlayStation VR headset the game's creepy atmosphere is taken to a whole new level.

As a VR experience, however, Intruders is jarring and involving in equal measure. Most importantly, the developers understand how to create the experience of being a child in a high-pressure situation — everything is too big, too scary, and too fast. It’s only by resolve, wit, and bravery that the little boy can survive the night and save his family, and Intruders makes players work for it by putting them through some genuinely frightening situations. There are emotions that only VR can get players to feel, and Intruders is built to push those exact buttons.
