The map also is so much empty and visuals are more like ps3’s last games just with 60 fps! Anyway its an online game and we could wait for more support from developers if they wanna their games played by gamers. Expand

It’s ok, hopefully it’ll get better with time. Doesn’t seem like a groundbreaking game however it’s a lot more light hearted than the likes of Apex Legends and Warzone.

Average. It's free to play, otherwise I'd probably won't like this game as much. It's just unique enough, and I did enjoy the skills just enough, to counter the negatives. The overall gameplay mechanics like shooting, traversal, loot, double jump, etc. are serviceable...but could be a lot better.

I personally didn't like the cluster f of a map, everything looks the same, and there were no interesting landmarks. Gunfights are most of time hit or miss (more miss), very low damage and long ttk. People spam abilities before there about to die/escape is kind of agitating. (it's not agitiating when I do it though xD). Kind of like I like it when I do it, but I don't like it when the person i'm trying to kill is doing it. I never felt that way playing apex legends btw.

To end, serviceable BR game. Overall gameplay is kind of unique, especially with the skill loot. It's also a very accessible game (easy to pick up, hard to master). Definitely not a bad game, it's also not the best BR game either...it's literally right in the middle of the pack.

-twitch prime rewards in the free pass.Like c'mon ubisoft,do you want to do special again like the quiet kid in class?
-the biggest problem right now:the upgrade system and the hexfire
pretty much everyone uses hexfire because it sprays super easily and has an insane ttk.The game already has small hitboxes, which cause this gun to be superior to the ripper and the harpy(even though the ripper can be usefull at times as well). Also the upgrade system can use some improvement,if you come up against people with legendary loot ,you have a really low chance to win .
-right now (what i have seen) the crown users exploit the game by using legendary hacks like the ball one or the invurnabilty one,you pretty much can't catch them unless you have legendary guns.

conclusion:The game has a long way to go in terms of balance and ubisoft showed it's greed again in the battle pass, but overall the game is a lot of fun,and if you like high paced shooters, this game is for you!

I tried a lot to like this game but it´s just not for me. I guess the only battle royale I like is fortnite.

compared to apex legends it lacks the personality (of the characters, of the guns and of the world). ok, it is more dynamic because of the double jump, but... that's it. it has got no soul. but it's free, so why am i complaining? i'll play a bit more when it's out of beta...

Aburrido y sin personalidad. Sistema complejo de powerups, se ve algo generico, no me gusto. Los controles se sienten poco ajustados, y es dificil apuntar

I think this Battle Royal has a lot of potential, but it's still missing a bit more substance. The Good:
The movement is fantasticly fluid and dynamic and feels so much fun to move around in Hyper Scape's map. The map itself too is quite fun with all of it's verticality (although I never found much variety in its design). Most of the weapons and abilities I also found to be decently fun

Moreover, there's also some unique Battle Royal elements that I think are worthy of good notes like: the end game capture the crown mechanic and "revive" a moving dead teammates. The Bad:
Not so much to say other than that the game can feel stale quite fast with its limited selection of weapons and map design. Also much of the PVP encounters I face don't feel so much had were in the realm of like skill vs skill play but more so who had the flashier ability equipped at the time. The presentation of the game is interesting, yet not much substance in gameplay when it comes down to it playing match after match. Still, I had a little fun with what's been built so far, hopefully Ubisoft can continue with this foundation for something a little more engrossing. For right now, I might return to the game at a later time.

Hyper Scape is another battle royale game. I am bored with this genre, and this game adds nothing to it. The setting is interesting but after the opening cutscene, the game doesn't use that setting.

I was excited for this game, ever since the first trailer. I wanted this to be the next big Battle Royale game, but this game is plagued by its issues, and there are ALOT of Issues.

Things like texture bugs, sound bugs, a God-awful TTK and bad monetization practices make this game feel like a quick cash grab by Ubisoft. This game had no marketing whatsoever, this games final mode Crown

A game with so much potential, but no execution.

Hyper Scape went very much under the radar for me, I knew it’s name and that it was a battle royale but other than that, nothing. So when you see the big opening cinematic, which largely resembles the Oasis from Ready Player One, I was very excited, and while this game of shines full of potential otherwise It goes downhill from there.

So when you see the big opening cinematic, which largely resembles the Oasis from Ready Player One, I was very excited, and while this game of shines full of potential otherwise It goes downhill from there.

After the amazing opening cinematic, the game throws you into to what I can only describe as a hub world, except it’s not a world. It’s a rather small enclosed space with lots of doors that take you to different menus. I get that they were trying to do something different and I have to commend them for doing so. However, it is just annoying that you can’t just navigate them like normal menus and have to take a 10 second walk to each screen.

Then once you go into the actual games you only have the usual options of team or solo modes. But no matter which mode you try and play you will spend a good 5 minutes going between loading screens and the lobby area being stuck running around and emoting.

I have one PSA about this game, do not play this game solo! It does not give this game any credit and you miss out on so many features of this game. Play this game in trios no matter what, then you are able to get the full experience of this game. Playing Hyper Scape solo is boring unoriginal and repetitive. Playing this in trios becomes much more exciting with the death function that makes this game feel original and innovative, when you die you become back as a holographic figure who can be revived at areas where people have died previously in the game. You are able to run around and be able to ping enemies and loot.

The gameplay in this game is fast and frantic which I really enjoyed. The fusion technique for upgrading weapons is fun and innovative and gets rid of lots of left over weapons and perks.

The gunplay in this game is mediocre at best. The variety of guns is very good and they all look really good but the actual PvP fights make the guns feel boring they have no real idiosyncrasies and the vibration is nearly none existent and don’t feel powerful or different in many ways.

Overall this game has a great amount of potential but so far it hasn’t reached that potential. That said, the game has just released so it will likely get a lot better and I think I will keep playing it sporadically to see if it gets any better.

    Hyper Scape: 6/10

This game has potential to be good if they fix some match making problems and do some balance with shooting and character movement.

I was initially excited for Hyper Scape thanks to its sleek style and movement. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t do much to stand out from other offerings on the market. Hopefully Ubisoft will find some way to inject more personality and consistency into this online shooter.

Hyper Scape has promise, but it’s just so infuriating to play due to poor aiming controls. Some don’t seem to have a problem with it, as I see other PS4 players racking up kills all the time. Still, it’s better to wait and play something else until this gets fixed.

Whilst Hyper Scape has some interesting ideas that make for fun and thrilling gameplay scenarios, the game does very little to stand out amongst its competitors. Although it is lacking in personality and lore, future updates could allow Hyper Scape to carve out an identity of its own. However, currently, it will do little to pull you away from your preferred battle royale game, and if you're not a fan of the genre, it won't make you a believer.
