there's 3 characters, they all play the same, same hp, same type of abilities, all enemies hit like trucks and gameplay is downright unfair, you basically have to play, memorize enemy patterns, repeat and find a way around them, finish the level, repeat again until you get all the level bonus.

Characters dont have any upgrades or special abilities and even the most basic enemy has more

Characters dont have any upgrades or special abilities and even the most basic enemy has more hp and damage than you, the only good thing going for you is that AI is dumb and repeats the same patters, but until you learn them it's die and die again.

doesn't feel at all you're playing like a badazz bounty hunter at all, they should have called the game letdown instead of huntdown

Well... it would have been fun when it came out in 2000.
Sounds like a boring game that shouldn't come out in 2020.

Huntdown has been out for a while, but it's a good, silly tonic for players looking for a nice distraction from all of the heavy and involved open-world adventuring out there. It'll scratch most of your action itches and, if you're a certain age like me, it'll bring back a few memories of a bygone era. It's not the worst thing to think about.

Huntdown is a tribute to eighties movies and games. It combines the action from titles as Streets of Rage and movies like The Warriors and Last Action Hero in a side-scrolling shooter, which is best enjoyed in co-op. That way the game really gets to shine and entertain you with all its glory. Shooting hundreds of enemies in four worlds never was so much fun together, even if there are a few things off balance at some moments.

It’s a cyberpunk dystopia, filled with every kind of throwback to what the 80’s thought the future would be, and it’s fantastic. You won’t need to Voight-Kampff me on this one, the sheer grin on my face will prove I’m human when I play this.
