Apr 30, 2020Amazing game! Smart shooter, terrifying atmosphere, brilliant sound and great rpg elements. If you like hardcore gameplay and realistic graphics that creates unique horror atmosphere, you will definitely fall in love with this game!

Mar 2, 2020Everyone sees the world in one’s own way. This is a world without too much noise and endless ammo.
Just impressive...
ps. as cool as a cucumber, this is - HUNT. -
Jun 22, 2020The developers have brought something new to the industry, for which they thanks.
Graphics 10/10.
Gameplay 9/10.
Atmosphere 20/10.
Sound (I would have put it 10/10, now the opponents are worse heard) 9/10. -
Jun 14, 2020One of the most underrated games I know.Great atmosphere and very tactical game. Each match plays out completely differently. I wonder why there is no bigger attention from big gaming outlets like Gamespot or IGN....

Jan 5, 2022Really good balanced.
Extreme exciting gameplay.
By far the best Game I ever played, and I am playing alot. (More then 20 years gaming experience, multiple hours daily) -
Feb 18, 2020Great game with amazing atmosphere! Imagine a cross between Bloodborne and Rainbow Six Siege and you will have an idea of how cool Hunt is. Nerve wrecking competitive multiplayer to keep the players on the edge of their seats. Plus, one of the best soundtracks ever made for a game!

Feb 19, 2020I wasn't too sure at first, but I love this game! I'm playing solo at the moment which I thought would kill the experience, but it doesn't. It's not a game about winning, it's seeing how long you can go, and if you win yay! If not oh well try again. Love the world, the sound, and so different! Refreshing!

Feb 22, 2020Clunky mechanics, a clustery menu, bad server connectivity, super long load times, everyone gets dced from your lobby or they quit because of you being low level.
-
Mar 11, 2020Too hard and repetitive to play for anyone who's not a masochist. You're going to spend most of your time in a loading screen. Very bad PS4 optimization, clunky controls. Nice atmosphere though.
-
Feb 25, 2020This game is the worst game I have played in over 20 years with sony. Clunky mechanics, Outdated Game Engine, A Player base which is almost non existent & menus designed for pc, wait I forgot the loading times. Do yourself a favour & buy any Metro Game Instead. Please do not waste your money.
-
Mar 16, 2020I am very sad to see Crytek has spent so long working on so little. This is an unfinished game on an outdated game engine. I understand they were trying the "spooky" or "eerie" fps. But perpetual daytime with semi-loaded textures is pretty stupid.
-
Apr 7, 2020The biggest disappointment and waste of money. The aiming and controls are clunky and unresponsive. Popping up textures (PS4 Pro) and to be honest You spend more time in lobby matchmaking or on a loading screen than actually playing.
-
Mar 10, 2020It’s the most perfect game ever made. Of all time. Flawless in every way except the Minecraft textures.
-
Feb 28, 2020OK. So the control scheme isnt bad, its these horrible sensitivity adjustments. Like why why why have aim acceleration????? Without that the game would be soo much better. On a side note i have a PS4 Pro on a 4K monitor and the game looks like CRAP. Needs to be optimized for sure. Really wanted this game to be good and ready to play but i dont think it is right now.

Apr 3, 2020With no way to turn off motion blur, and a 30 fps this feels like a clunky mess of a game. I spent 53$ CND and I am praying Sony will give me my money back. Trying to shoot a dog on the ground feels like a chore mainly because the interface feels like you are looking at blurs along the ground. If you have any sense you will not by this clunky mess of a game.

Mar 20, 2020Terrible game, camping paradise for all campers of the world. Running half an hour on the map and the get shot by a shotgunner or a guy in the tower 2 km away
-
Feb 21, 2020Played 30 minutes...Yet Another survival horror shooter. Moreover I cannot play with my friends spread around the world because they cannot buy it (it has not been published in some countries!!)

Feb 25, 2020Great game, from the atmosphere, the soundtrack to the intense gun fights. A small amount of performance issues can slightly hinder the experience! But overall it is a fantastic game.

Jun 21, 2020This game is a dream comes true for me on paper. But in practice, feels unbalanced and not cared for by the devs. Low graphical quality is not a problem for me but getting disconnected every third run -more often at times- is a spit on the face.
-
Mar 3, 2020Bloody excellent, once you get used to the guns and all then it's a lot of fun. I play Solo a lot of the time so you can enjoy it alone, especially if your like me and enjoy the risk associated.
It's the first game in ages I actually look forward to playing when I get home

Edge MagazineMar 26, 2020Provides you with plenty of stealth mechanics but leagues of ground to cover, and that tension is deadly. [Issue#344, p.116]
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKMar 12, 2020A return to form for Crytek that defies busy FPS norms. Like its ’orrible spiders, Hunt: Showdown is constantly shifting and very hard to put in a box. Get yourself online and join in the hunting fun. [Issue#173, p.86]

Mar 11, 2020I'll admit I wasn’t keen on Hunt: Showdown to start with, but after the first few matches I realised there's something special here. This is an unusual entry in a genre ruled by far snappier shooters, and it takes time to get your head around Crytek's clever twist on the formula. Stick with it and you'll be rewarded with a uniquely engrossing multiplayer experience.
