    As a concept this looks awesome, but there was missing some key ingredients like good protagonist. Alloy is so forgettable, her visual design is fine, but voice acting and dialogues are boring.

    I traded Destiny 2 for Horizon Zero Dawn with an acquaintance. Best deal I've probably ever made.

    With its Unique world and interesting characters, as well as a strong female lead, Horizon is a compelling game. The graphics and sound further enhance the beauty of the world and the bow combat makes the gameplay insanely fun.     One of the best looking games out right now. So far I'm really enjoying this game and it's well worth 60 dollars which actually has all of the content included and not ripe out to be resold.
    The character is interesting and learning about her story and what drives her is well done. However, I find some of the other characters kind of boring and just randomly placed in the world to take up time. This game is by no means a Witcher 3 but damn its good. The world feels so alive with the moving grass, animals, trees, etc. I get completely lost wandering around the world.
    The story is pretty good as well though it would have been nice to have a stronger relationship with other characters. I also really like the minor RPG elements and crafting in the game.
    The soundtrack is great and fits the game really well.

    Overall, I would recommend this game if you are a fan of open world games such as Witcher 3, Far Cry, etc. Gorilla games did a great job making this game and I'm just scratching the surface so far. Also, this game really shows of the power of the PS4. Plenty of content is to be found in this game. Also, how are there so many negative reviews? To rate this game between a 4 through 0 is just arrogant.    … Expand

    Beautiful, very beautiful. Unfortunately that's about it. The combat is clunky and bland. Dodge roll, swing or shoot. The climbing is PS2 level bad. The story is convoluted and told through text. The side quests are ripped straight from the Witcher (go here, investigate, fight). I cannot understand how this game is so overrated beyond the fact its bright and shiny. It's about as deep as a puddle.

    Una aventura increíble y con una protagonista sumamente interesante, horizon zero down es un gran juego de mundo abierto, tiene ciertas cosillas que se pueden pulir aún más, aún así no quita lo increíble que es el juego y la aventura de aloy.

    Story,graphics,gameplay, everything in it's place. I especially like the machines, that somehow put some horror elements in all of this, which i didn't expect, kinda like in MGSV. Decima engine looks great on PS5.

    Horizon is easily one of my favourite game, it has wonderful graphics for a game from 2017 and the fighting mechanic, im in love with it. You have different types of bows, traps, literal flamethrowers, and many more. And the amount of side missions and side content packed into this game is just ginormous.
    For me, this is the definition of must play game for PlayStation.

After scanning the enemy, Focus will reveal to you what it consists of and, above all, what its strengths and weaknesses are, the fights have a well-tuned difficulty curve, so at the beginning you are afraid of every larger animal and you'd better go around some, because, for example, with Sawtooth you don't want to let go. It's not that it's not technically possible, but it simply shows respect, the environment can conjure up visual splendor above all - sunrises and sunsets, snowy locations, the desert.

    This game changed my view on games in general. I loved the story and the design, every mission made me want to play even more. I've played the game 3 times already and it's still as great as the first time i played it.

    Une histoire originale, un gameplay intense et une durée de vie solide. C'est un RPG en open world avec un univers unique et bien pensé. C'est l'un de mes jeux préférés donc inutile de dire que je le recommande complètement.

    Played both PC and PS4. One of the worst game for gamepad (ps4)
    poor human ai and conquering camps. Great at beginning little too poor after first village and too boring, repetetive. Little bad exp system. FC5 is much more entertaining.

    Besides being pretty, this game is a huge mess. I bought the big collector's edition and I regret it deeply. It's buggy as hell, combats absolutely blow against machine and are even worst against humans, story is a snooze fest and puzzles level designs are some of the worst I ever seen. Do not buy this game.

    Where to start... I purchased my PS4 specifically to play this game because I fell in love with the reveal trailers that were online. Upon the game launching and being greeted with a beautiful menu screen, I knew I was going to enjoy this game immensely. From the narrative, to the combat and the scenery it hosts an array of, what feels to be AAA designs for a brand new IP, that all playersWhere to start... I purchased my PS4 specifically to play this game because I fell in love with the reveal trailers that were online. Upon the game launching and being greeted with a beautiful menu screen, I knew I was going to enjoy this game immensely. From the narrative, to the combat and the scenery it hosts an array of, what feels to be AAA designs for a brand new IP, that all players will enjoy.

    I pumped a lot of hours into this game, fell in love with the characters and the story - set in a post-apocalyptic environment that is different from the usual horror tropes that we see. I'll avoid posting spoilers but it truly defines how zombies or radioactive wasteland aren't always the go-to for a destroyed world.

    Finally, I would recommend that everyone gives this game a shot now that it is available on multiple platforms and no longer a PS4 exclusive.    … Expand

    Sei es das geniale Kampfsystem, das so    Horizon Zero Dawn ist sicherlich eines der beeindruckendsten neue Franchises der PS4 Ära. Nicht nur, dass Guerrilla Games hier eine völlig neuartige und eigenständige, postapokalyptische Open World mit Robo-Sauriern als Gegner (wtf?) geschaffen haben - das Spiel brilliert vor allem auch hinsichtlich seines Gameplays und seiner Mechaniken.

    Sei es das geniale Kampfsystem, das so individuell und vielseitig spielbar ist, wie in kaum einem anderen Spiel dieser Generation. Sei es die spannende Erzählstruktur um den weiblichen Hauptcharakter Aloy, die Quest für Quest, die Geschichte dieser fremden Welt immer weiter enträtselt. Sei es das Jagd-Gefühl, die Spannung, wenn man im Dickicht an den patrouillierenden Robos vorbeischleicht, nur um im richtigen Moment aus dem Hinterhalt effektiv zuzuschlagen. Gerade dieser starke Kontrast aus konzentriertem Schleichen und plötzlicher, adrenalingeladener Action, wenn es zum offenen Kampf kommt, machen Horizon Zero Dawns Open World zu einem Abenteuerspielplatz, der seinesgleichen sucht.

    Nicht zuletzt ist es auch die phantastische Atmosphäre dieser überragend inszenierten Spielewelt, die einem mit ihrer Schönheit, Grafikpracht und Animationsvielfalt einfach berauschen muss und immer wieder aufs neue packt. Wenn es einen Exklusivtitel gibt, für den der Kauf einer PS4 lohnt, dann ist es sicherlich Horizon Zero Dawn. Für mich das bisher beeindruckendste Spiel dieser Konsolengeneration.    … Expand

    The unfortunate fact of Horizon is that most of what it does well, other games have done better, and they did it with a compelling who and where. This is the game you play after you’ve finished The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, and Far Cry: Primal. It is the greatest hits compilation of open-world games. Yeah, sure, you might want to own it, but the real connoisseur has the original albums.

    Horizon Zero Dawn has an unforgettable protagonist, world, story, visuals, soundtrack and gameplay. Due to minor issues with inventory management and quest selection, I cannot call it perfect but I can say it is absolutely worth your time.
