    Story is very engaging and the world is beautiful. Combat was surprisingly profound and the enemy design allows for creative battles. One of the most underrated games of the generation.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is fun. Great premise. Great mechanics. But there's a character - Sylens - who appears and is critical to the game, and who is incredibly condescending to Aloy. Like, constantly belittling her and treating her like crap. It made the game MUCH less fun to play, because the authors of the game thought that treating Aloy abusively was somehow additive. It made me really hate who parts of the game.… Expand

    I will never understand the praise this game gets. I played through the entire game, and it was painful. Let's start off by looking at the good stuff, which are very few btw, the combat system is great. Everything feels realy satisfying when you use the bow etc, The world is also beautifully crafted, and it has stunning visuals.
    My biggest problem is the voice acting. Not a single voice    I will never understand the praise this game gets. I played through the entire game, and it was painful.     My biggest problem is the voice acting. Not a single voice actor here is good, they all talk like robots. The dialogue is so cringy, and I feel like an alien that has never interacted with humans before, wrote the script. The dialogue "cutscenes" are awkward as hell, the facial animations is on par with the same emotions furby toys show with their faces. For some reason, the voice actors seems to have a 3second pause between every sentence sometimes, and it was really annoying. I probably skipped 80% of the games dialogue, and I pray to Guerilla, that the sequel will be better, because there is so much potential here.    … Expand

    ótimo jogo, com toda certeza está no top 5 da minha vida!!! em nenhum momento é tedioso, sempre muito interessante. A variedade de animais é animadora, parabéns aos desenvolvedores.

    Horizon Zero Dawn is a very pretty game that offers plenty of fun, and kept me entertained for about 20 hours. However, I struggled to stay invested in its story or world, and its simplistic skill tree failed to get me invested into the task of improving my combat capabilities. This is a shame, because there is clearly an excellent game here with a relatively interesting open world -Horizon Zero Dawn is a very pretty game that offers plenty of fun, and kept me entertained for about 20 hours. However, I struggled to stay invested in its story or world, and its simplistic skill tree failed to get me invested into the task of improving my combat capabilities. This is a shame, because there is clearly an excellent game here with a relatively interesting open world - however, it doesn't feel like the game does anything with particular excellence, in my mind - it is all very good, but not great.

    What I think I can fairly say about Horizon Zero Dawn is that it is a good game - it is one that attempts to refine a formula, and nears success in that regard. I truly wish I were able to concur with the praise that many respectable critics and players have had for this game, but find myself considering this game to be rather middling.    … Expand

    Just an epic game with minor flaws. This has to be one of the top 5-10 games made for the ps4, and the start of one of the very best franchises ever made.

    The game is really nice! The world itself is amazing. Combat is great especially fights with some of the big machine. Really enjoyable to play.

    This games has a beautiful graphics, a dynamic environment and a great soundtrack. The different combat mechanism presented in the game is also very welcome. That being said, the game gets tedious and repetitive very quickly.     I discover this game two years after release..One of the best choice that could happen..Amazing from every pov..Story, combat sistem and machines..I was amazed and now this series is my favorite..Thank you Guerrilla, you have conquered me!

    Good and enjoyable game. Gameplay is amazing and open world feels full. Graphics are nice and view of enviroment is nice. Story was also interesting. But for me personally biggest flaw in this game was main character with her holier-than-thou attitude and her interactions with others. 8/10

    Боёвка интересная и прикольный сеттинг, сюжет не запоминается и уж тем более персонажи, геймплей похож на асасина но чуть поинтереснее, была бы она не эксклюзивом все бы забили на неё

    Machine combat, which is most of the enemies, is excellent. It always feels fair and makes you think tactically, and choose the right approach for each enemy. The machines are really quite impressive, each quite different, with good artificial intelligence. Some are dinosaur themed (Thunderjaws, Watchers) but most aren't- there are a lot of misleading comments about this. They are mainly intended to replicate modern fauna- deer, cattle, wolves, lions, crocodiles, tigers, crabs, buffalos and others.

    The core story is very strong, and the overarching background is actually quite fascinating. Learning the truth of the machines is a gripping journey.

    There is plenty to do, and its fun to just get into fights to see if you can make it out alive.

    The environment, with its stunning views, weather and water effects, wildlife, swaying grass and ambient sounds is second to none. And there are plenty of collectibles and tasks to get you to explore it all.

    Downsides?
    A few, but not enough to spoil it.
    Fighting the human enemies is fairly unsatisfying. Most can be easily beaten by picking them off by stealth or simply culling them one by one with a spear.

    The side stories are mainly pretty dull, consisting of rescuing hapless villagers from machines/bandits, solving crimes by following easily signposted footprints or blood trails, or acting as a glorified courier. There are a couple of exceptions.

    Aloy's sarcasm gets a bit wearing at times, and is a bit out of place for most of the game; until she becomes a genuine badass. Story dialogue overall is a bit weird too, a big step down from recent Rockstar games for example. It has a tendency to go on a bit too long at times. Less is often more, developers!    … Expand

    Amazing graphics and gameplay. My only complaint is purely subjective: I have no interest in fighting robotic animals, and found that aspect to be dumb, and that's the whole game, so...

    There is good ideas and the story is great., but the exploration is bad, th open world of the game is not that open, you have some specify ways to pass and climb.

    Becouse how generic and boring this game was i can't start Horizon Forbidden West. Looks like that one has better visuals and combat mechanics but saw the character design and dialogs are still bad in that game. Mid game imo

    Horizon Zero Dawn é um jogo original da Sony ambientado em um futuro pós apocalíptico em que há maquinas em formato de animais extintos como principais inimigos do jogo. Horizon tem uma história interessante, cheia de reviravoltas. Embora o jogo queira fazer parecer que a protagonista é muito fodona, diminuído todos os outros personagens a idiotas supersticiosos, Aloy parece até oHorizon Zero Dawn é um jogo original da Sony ambientado em um futuro pós apocalíptico em que há maquinas em formato de animais extintos como principais inimigos do jogo. Horizon tem uma história interessante, cheia de reviravoltas. Embora o jogo queira fazer parecer que a protagonista é muito fodona, diminuído todos os outros personagens a idiotas supersticiosos, Aloy parece até o Superman, que quando aparece resolve todos os problemas com uma extrema facilidade.     Это моя первая полноценно пройденная игра на PS4. От начала сюжета и до самого конца, я был захвачен идеей мира, красотой и геймплеем. До сих пор приятные ощущения, от полученной возможности погрузиться в игровой процесс в 2017 году. возможно, в ближайшее время ещё раз пройду сюжетку. 10 из 10 мехазавров)Это моя первая полноценно пройденная игра на PS4.     The unfortunate fact of Horizon is that most of what it does well, other games have done better, and they did it with a compelling who and where. This is the game you play after you’ve finished The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, and Far Cry: Primal. It is the greatest hits compilation of open-world games. Yeah, sure, you might want to own it, but the real connoisseur has the original albums.

    Horizon Zero Dawn has an unforgettable protagonist, world, story, visuals, soundtrack and gameplay. Due to minor issues with inventory management and quest selection, I cannot call it perfect but I can say it is absolutely worth your time.
