Aug 11, 2020Disappointing souls like game. Plays most similar to bloodborne. Art and map design are fantastic and what makes the game stand out unfortunately everything else is woefully subpar. The frame rate on base ps4 consitently drops below 15 fps.

Aug 21, 2020It’s a budget dark souls and I liked it. The devs definitely could of used some more polish time.

Aug 10, 2020After 20+ hours in the world of Hellpoint I can say this is the first Soulsborne in a while that has really captured the essence of the genre like Dark Souls 1 did. There are some performance and framerate issues but there is nothing I ran across that was gamebreaking. Definitely recommend this one to the Soulsborne enthusiasts out there!

Aug 27, 2020One of the Highlights in 2020. A "must have" for all Dark Souls and Bloodborne Player!

Aug 17, 2020Could not have even a fairly stable experience on the game. Without a doubt one of the top few worst games, and most bug-plagued games I have ever played. It was regularly unplayable due to glitches and bugs which seem inherently engrained into the game. The combat is the tackiest I've seen, legit, and in no exaggeration - this is a mobile game.

Aug 1, 2020Bad buggy basic. This game has no imagination the world's are bland the attack animation is boring and the enemy design seems so boring.
-
Aug 3, 2020Are you kidding me?
This game asks for 35€ in PS Store and it's full of bugs. Minor bugs, major bugs, game-breaking bugs. Give a free meal to someone to test your game, for God's sake! -
Sep 25, 2020Game is bug plagued as mentioned by many others. The lag you have to deal with playing split screen is by far the worst. I can't see myself enjoying this game with the terrible lag. The fps is mediocre at best, as well as the "disappearing hit box on enemies 60% of the time while playing split screen. I honestly wish I could get my money back until they fix this issue.

Feb 25, 2021Freaking. AWESOME. Once it was fully patched, I just... honestly do not understand the rating. It's gorgeous, takes chances to do new things, plays great, has an interesting story, and it has a good loop. Plus it's both scifi and has the Souls horror vibe, which most scifi Souls games dont even attempt for some reason. I have it on three platforms.

Oct 18, 2020The game is a nice nod to the original souls and has loads of content with great exploration and atmosphere. Still a little unpolished but it has in no way taken away from the enjoyment and plays great for local co-op.

Sep 9, 2020It’s great to see new takes on the Souls formula, but they need to have something special if they want to find their place in a market that’s becoming more and more saturated. Hellpoint has a solid foundation and good ideas, but that’s about it.
-
Aug 10, 2020Hellpoint borrows the elements found in Fromsoft titles that make a compelling action RPG game but ultimately stumbles due to technical issues and an overall lack of polish.

Aug 6, 2020Hellpoint is absolutely a game to try out if you’re a fan of the Souls-like genre and especially Bloodborne. Its stunning aesthetic alone should grab your interest. However, the game unfortunately falls short of being truly amazing due to several unpolished elements.
