    I will write what i write for a brillaint masterpiece game. Absolute a must to buy and have game. (that section always i write it when a game is more than a worth it). Everything are balance as it should be. The puzzle's, the cutscene's, the battle's, everything. The game is not tiring you. Combat is well-made. Stunning graphics (and its a 2018 game).     I played every single God of War game with an interest, but none of them was highly engaging for me. Same situation here. The game is beautiful, I liked the story line and the figure of Atreus, but I wasn't satisfied with the gameplay. At the beginning it was funny, but later on it became boring and repetitive. I gave up on achieving a platinum trophy. The topic of Greek mythologyI played every single God of War game with an interest, but none of them was highly engaging for me. Same situation here.     This is my first God of War game so I don’t have the old ones to compare against. This game is fantastic. It starts out limited/restricted for storytelling and “teach the player” purposes but opens up into a versatile, large game. The story and its execution is fantastic. Atreus adds lightness at just the right times, which prevents the journey from getting too heavy. I’m about 1/4This is my first God of War game so I don’t have the old ones to compare against.     As a huge fan of the God of War series and The Last of Us, I was really excited for God of War, and seeing the many perfect score reviews come in made me drop everything to get it at launch. I knew this game would be different, and seemed really cool. Well, I was disappointed... a lot.

    This is a masterpiece. A quality game both in history and playability. I never get tired of completing this game again and again. More details come into surface and I recently finished it in Give Me God of War again.
    Playing it in PlayStation is even better at 60 FPS. Such a delicatessen. Can’t wait for God of War: Ragnarok!

    De los mejores juegos que he jugado, narrativa he historia insuperables, con Kratos más maduro y mayor veremos su aventura junto a Atreus(su hijo)por la mitología nórdica.

    excellent gameplay, excellent graphics, excellent story. The best game I've ever played. Kratos remains faithful to the main trilogy and after all he has passed it's good to see that he became wise.

    In God of War für die Playstation 4 steckt sehr viel Herzblut drin und in jeder Szenerie, an jedem Charakter, in jeder Situation in diesem Spiel merkt man die Liebe, die Hingabe, den Hass und den Willen der Spieleentwickler. Ich kann das Spiel jedem nur ans Herz legen, der sowohl die GoW Reihe, als auch tolle Abenteuerreiche, Emotionserfüllte und Herzzerreißende Spiele liebt.

    Really good game. The story is very good, especially the end. The gameplay is a lot of fun. They could have utilized the open world a bit better - that's pretty much the only thing I can criticize.

    One of the best stories in a video game. All the side missions are good and the same with the gameplay. The stun kills can get a little repetitive but otherwise the story is amazing, bosses are hard and provide a challenge, and combat is an absolute wonder to use.

    Best Game I played till now. You can feel the story even when you are not a father yourself. The graphics are a masterpiece and I enjoyed everything. My first platin as well, when the game released.

    God of war is probably one of if not the best gaming experience I've had. The story is phenomenal with every beat hitting hard, and the characterisation of each person is so good it makes you feel empathy for the bad guys. Combat is fun, intuitive and feels flowing.

    Amazing story. Great stunning visuals, graphics is decent. Animations and cut-scenes are really good. Combat system is a bit cumbersome, especially on hard or max difficulty. It’s worth playing just to see this story.

    An absolute Santa Monica Studio's opus magnum. Great gameplay, story and rewarding combat. Like every slasher game, regardless of difficulty you gonna go like through butter near the game's end but beside that: the game that every ps4 owner MUST play!

    I've only just come across this game due to covid lockdown...its great...especially at only £10! Great fun to play, decent graphics, storyline is ok, though some of the narrative from Mimir made me laugh out loud! Battles are great, though the very last Valkyrie, Sigrun, is tough! I liked the open-world-ish nature of the game, though if you can see it you should be able to walk over it!I've only just come across this game due to covid lockdown...its great...especially at only £10! I've played the previous entries when I was younger (even if I reckon I did not had the age to do that) and I liked it and so, but always thought Kratos was an jerk and never related to him. For me, the previous entries where just an excuse to see gore and boobas on the PS2. But damn, this 2018 entry... I even started to like Kratos after that. Good freaking plot, and theGreat game!     Really enjoyed playing it love the new reboot the contact is good it’s beautiful Norse mythology they nailed it the story is what really mattered to me and it was fantastic I do recommend playing on hard to give combat more then just button mash good gameplay good story one of my favorite ps4 games

    The game feels choppy and slow as compared to the originals on ps2. Did not catch the vibe right. The puzzles initially felt out of nowhere but you get used to it after certain time. By the time game ends, it gets good and engaging but ends on a cliffhanger (mildly).     Way Overhyped at the time. Story begins with Father and Son Atrius just going to deliver Mom's ashes or some stupid errand like that. Then you meet Nordic God and and meet others. Just a very unmotivated story to start with and gameplay becomes dull pretty quick. Bosses are just Big Troll who are repeated but in different color and outfit.     Probably the best PS4 exclusive I've ever played, it's been a long time since God of War 3, and it feels so fresh to see how different the game looks like, combat is so comfortable and really cool when doing combos, the puzzles are really well done, but my favorite part of all are the bosses, specially the Valkarye boss fights, really difficult yet so good

    id give this game a **** 20 out of 10 on this scale. the game is the definition of damn near perfect. Kratos and son go on this EPIC journey. im aaaaall the way in. the only thing i had a problem with was the lack of variety of bosses. story is epic, all characters are memorable and fun. buy this game. well worth any price.

    genialidad pura, esas son las palabras con la que definiría god of war, la premisa parece bastante sencilla, un padre y su hijo que se disponen a ir a la montaña mas alta para esparcir las cenizas de su difunta esposa/madre, pero son los suceso que complican este sencillo viaje lo que le da la chispa de emoción a este trayecto.

    En termino de diseño, el diseño de enemigos esta bastante    genialidad pura, esas son las palabras con la que definiría god of war, la premisa parece bastante sencilla, un padre y su hijo que se disponen a ir a la montaña mas alta para esparcir las cenizas de su difunta esposa/madre, pero son los suceso que complican este sencillo viaje lo que le da la chispa de emoción a este trayecto.

    En termino de diseño, el diseño de enemigos esta bastante bien aunque e de decir que la variedad esta regular, mismo enemigos pero con un color diferente y elemento diferente, los escenarios son bastantes coloridos y llenos de flora y fauna (dependiendo de la zona en la que te encuentres), una paleta de colores bastante atractiva y con un detalle sublime,

    mirando mas a la jugabilidad, se nota el cambio extremo que hicieron en la cámara y en la jugabilidad misma, al principio el cambio se te hará incomodo si vienes de jugar los anteriores títulos la cámara situada un poco mas arriba del hombro de Kratos da como resultado una perspectiva mas intima incluso sintiendo la fuerza de cada golpe de Kratos, no encontraras la variedad de armas con la que estarás acostumbrado no obstante las que encontraras en el juego tiene variedad en movimientos, permitiéndote hacer las combinaciones que mejor se te acomoden a tu estilo de juego, hay enemigos que no le hará daño cierto tipo de arma por lo cual tendrás que cambiarla obligándote a jugar con ambas, la dificultad del juego la encontré un poco baja (jugando en la dificultad difícil) pero lo suficiente retador como para no aburrir

    notaras la evolución de Kratos con su hijo mientras avanzas en la historia encariñándote con ambos
    la banda sonora es bastante buena, poniendo los temas precisos en el momento preciso.

    para concluir god of war es un juego que podría considerarse arte, buenos gráficos buen gameplay, buena banda sonora y con una historia que te enamora mas y mas mientras avanzas en el juego    … Expand

    This is probably a 8 or a 9 out of 10 game, but for me the reason why I’ve given it a 6 is that they’ve completed stuffed up the difficulty ratings. Once you hit muspelheim the difficulty ratings are broken. For example the Goldur fight is completely broken for easy mode, I had played the whole game in Normal with zero issues however I can’t even get past this boss fight on easy. What’sThis is probably a 8 or a 9 out of 10 game, but for me the reason why I’ve given it a 6 is that they’ve completed stuffed up the difficulty ratings.     - the co-op combat to build stagger between Arteus and Kratos is fun. Stagger kills were very satisfying to pull off. - many varieties of ways to fight. Hand-to-hand, chains of chaos, and axe. Each has their own unique play style, and uses for certain types of enemies. Cool upgrades on each weapon as well, giving diversity to the way you want to fight. Every attack felt powerful.    Good

    - the semi-open world was great. Not as linear as the old gows, but also not too big of a sand box to get overwhelmed.

    - parrying system was awesome. The reaction time they gave felt fair, and everytime I got a parry, it was satisfying, and if I didn't it usually felt fair.

    - rage mode was a useful way to clutch out fights, like an X factor. Also very satisfying to use.

    - characters voices and acting were designed very well. All movement and expressions felt real. The dwarfs were a nice comic relief.

    - Puzzles were generally fun to solve. Not too difficult, not too long.

    - throwing the axe around was fun.

    - There is a lot more focus on story, and the story was very interesting. The focus on parent and child dynamics was interesting.

    - the upgrading system was just the right amount of complexity for me. I would have hated if GoW went the route of heavy RPG like Assassin's creed did. Luckily it did not.

    Bad

    - the game felt a tad short, ended a little abruptly.
    - I don't like how the devs let you continue a boss fight in the middle if you died. It feels like cheating, like using a save state. I would have preferred restarting the boss fight from the beginning.

    - Would have liked to see more characters mentioned and make more cameos from the past, like Zeus, Athena, Gaia, Pandora, and the other Gods. Athena was a big part of Krato's story, yet she only showed up once in a vision.

    - not a lot of epic sky combat where Kratos is flying all over the place and fighting a huge monster. This only happened in like one or two fights. GoW 3 had a lot of these epic fights.    … Expand

    Todo el tema del plano secuencia, la cinematografía es espectacular, el movimiento, las animaciones, lo visceral que es, está todo tan bien hecho que es una maravilla.
    Los personajes secundarios, las tramas secundarias, los giritos para contar la historia de Kratos, y bueno, el giro final es espectacular. Cosas buenas:    La dificultad y la progresión están muy bien medidas y planteadas,

    I loved this game so much. I have never played a God of War game, never having had a PlayStation. But I finally got a PS5 and this is one of the games that topped the list of what I needed to play. And I'm so glad I did. I feel like I got a perfect idea of Kratos' character (I also watched and read a bunch about backstory before playing). I loved his relationship developing with Atreus andI loved this game so much. I have never played a God of War game, never having had a PlayStation. But I finally got a PS5 and this is one of the games that topped the list of what I needed to play. And I'm so glad I did. I feel like I got a perfect idea of Kratos' character (I also watched and read a bunch about backstory before playing). I loved his relationship developing with Atreus and Freya, and I can't WAIT to see what happens next in Ragnarok.… Expand
