The Ice Dragon delivers a very engaging ultimate episode packed with tense and dramatic moments, where our choices have a significant impact on the way events unfold. Overall, it’s unquestionably a fitting ending to another successful episodic series from Telltale.

Telltale drinks from the original source and makes this version of Game of Thrones an ode to cruelty which would make the very Martin proud. A remarkable demonstration of what you can achieve with a good script.

A great ending to a remarkable series, even if Telltale keeps a close eye on the already announced second season by not actually resolving anything.

The season finale of Telltale's Game of Thrones has its moments, but the story of Gared is disappointing as there are some game-breaking glitches. However, the overall impact of the choices is very good and may give us a good glimpse for the next season.

The Ice Dragon is a fitting end to the first season, but is anything but a proper conclusion. The decisions are hard, the consequences are gut-wrenching and the stakes are incredibly high. So now you get to sit back and look forward to the next season, knowing that you've been suckered right into committing to it before it has even been announced.

Out of the six episodes, The Ice Dragon stands head and shoulders above the rest. Although this was to be expected, as with most story-driven games, this final installment does a grand job in showing just how cinematic Telltale’s adventure series have grown while passionately adhering to source material.

Just as it happens in the HBO series of Game of Thrones, the first season of the game ends with lots of action, tough choices, unexpected situations and a huge cliffhanger for the next season where the path that you took will have consequences.

Despite a couple of missteps in the narrative, I enjoyed Telltale’s addition to Game of Thrones’ lore. As this episode clearly illustrates, Telltale is quick to swing its sword when it when it comes to character-defining moments.

Game of Thrones: Episode 6 – The Ice Dragon offers an alright ending to a slightly disappointing spin-off overall.

Game of Thrones finale has the big, brutal moments you’d expect, but they are diluted by technical issues and a feeling of unfinished business.

A disappointing end to a series with promise, Game of Thrones needs likable characters to engage emotion.

It’s been a full four months since Episode Five ended on a massive decision that left players reeling. Given Telltale’s past work on the series, it was hard to imagine that Episode Six would actually do right by that decision and manage to wrap the season up in a remotely satisfying way. Sure enough, huge chunks of Episode Six are just as middling as everything else in the season, and on a technical level, it’s even worse.

Good and tragic episode. But I disliked Telltale's behavior to making season 2 . Game didn't end exactly.

But I think I totally lost my interest towards this game and will not purchase 2nd season if there will be any. Here is the reason:
Yes, you are making choices and it has effects to your game-play and scenes. But unfortunately, from the beginning to very end, you did not have any major effect to the consequences. You are just able to change minor details about the flow. At the end of the day, game pushes you to the road it actually designed. I know that all Telltale games have this passive gameplay gap but in this series, game openly cheats within itself to push you to the requested flow of events without any respect to your choices.
This game is good enough to watch but unfortunately not good enough to play. So it is totally your choice to play it or not.
