    I'm trying to figure out why Flower is so popular. I've played it on the PS3 and now on the PS4. Obviously the graphics are a vast improvment and yes the blades of grass look cool but I can't take this game seriously. After about 15 minutes I get extremely bored and will start to fall asleep.     overall kinda boring. something you throw on once or twice, or show a friend. basically demo software for a graphics engine. it's just ok, and it's been just ok since it came out on ps3 imho. didn't look CRAZY different on ps4.

    It felt kind of cheesy. If I was high it would've been absolutely amazing, but otherwise it's just a bunch of pedals floating. I guess it just isn't for me though so I won't give it a horrible review, I could see how some people could like it.

    I really don't understand all the fuzz about this game. How can a game that lasts 25 min, and that costs almost 10 bucks be the first game on the charts for a next gent console?? Like some other user said, it feels like it's being awarded for it's originality more than anything else.

    Yes it has a nice combination of OK graphics with music and it's very original and different and relaxing, but seriously, how can this game have nines and tens all over the place. "Journey" was great, I have to say I really enjoyed completing Journey, but this game is completely overrated IMO.    … Expand

    It's a **** game. And it's a pity.
    Could have a nice short and kinda beautiful game about flowers fighting crumbled cities. Maybe a little inconsistent one, but still beautiful.
    But this f*cking motion controls. This game is impossible to play in a precise manner. It's annoying even during the first stage. But as you get enemies (electricity rumble), it gets painful to play.

    I appreciate the beauty and originality of this game and I think more developers should be thinking outside the box like SCEA is. The motion control using the motion sensors in the controller is accurate and usable, but they should consider incorporating options to use the sony eye camera and voice operations to take this to the next level.

    Beautiful and enjoyable game with comfortable motion control! Its nice to take a break from all those violent games and relax, Flower will give you just that!

    Un juego interesante que hace uso del apartado móvil del mando, juego relajado y muy bonito en su estética, se hacen un poco repetitivas sus mecánicas y su duración es escasa.

    More of a relaxing experience than a game. The graphics and music are gorgeous, the six axis is fun to play around with but the positive ends there. It has no replay value and I found myself kind of glad when it was finished rather than hoping for more levels. Not entirely without merit I can see the beauty in it, but in the end far to boring to hold my attention.

    Really simple yet joyful game, however it runs into a wall, where it will just be a hassle to get from place to place, and it feels less unique than people claim it to be.

It suffers from a similar problem to The Unfinished Swan, in that it feels like a demo for the Playstation's motion controls. The story is a passable tale of industrialism vs. the natural world, and the graphics and soundtrack are charming enough. The game is, however, very short, clocking in at maybe a few hours, with not a whole lot of replay value. The controls are interesting, but there are occasional problems with taking a sharp turn when you haven't moved the controller. You control a flower petal, picking up other flower petals and... well... that's it. You can't do anything with the petals, and I think it would have been super cool to change the way the game played based on your starting flower and what petals you picked up, rather then letting you break stuff exclusively in the last level or two. It just feels very short and basic for $7.00, but it's by no means a bad game. It just feels like a showcase for the PS4 motion controls, and not much else.… Expand

    Flower is a charming and feel-good adventure that whisks you away to forget your troubles. Despite there not being much variety with the gameplay, its premise and design are things to be admired. Positive and negative aspects aside, there really isn't another game like it so give it a try.

    Flower is a beautiful and relaxing experience. It gets greater when you progress through the levels and will indeed give you an indescribable feelings.
    PS4 version is enhanced with motion controls but unfortunately you can't control your petals without the motion controls (using the original left-right-stick way).
    Also, I think it is not as amazing as Journey since it is developed prior to that.

    This game has very basic mechanics and i found it boring at the beginning, which made me wish I was playing something else. However, from the second half of the game, I was intrigued about the story. At the end my thoughts were mixed, it was an enjoyable experience that makes you meditate about the world we live in but it's not a game that I'd like to play again.     Pros:
    - Great dynamic soundtrack
    - Doesn't overstay its welcome

    Cons:
    - Motion controls. Would have liked the option of traditional controls (my bad if I just didn't see this option)
    - Honestly, it was boring. That's the greatest sin a video game can commit.

    This game has overwhelmingly positive reviews that made me extremely excited to get into the game, but I can't lie and say that I felt the same way that everybody else had. For me, this game was repetitive, and after the first mission, I found it to be emotionally flat as well.     Titolo simpatico per lasciarsi un po' andare e sfruttare i sensori di movimento del controller. Da credenziali dovrebbe rilassare ma non sono mancate un paio di occasioni che mi hanno fatto innervosire. 'Leggermente' sopravvalutato

Интересно, что создавать бесконфликтные игры пытались многие, но у большинства из этого выходило лишь инфантильноеОчень хорошо, что кто-то придумал такую игру. Интересно, что создавать бесконфликтные игры пытались многие, но у большинства из этого выходило лишь инфантильное убожество про някающих дурачков и конфетных лошадок, а авторы "Flower" справились. Игра добрая, но не скучная, в нее совершенно не стыдно играть. Это тот редкий случай, когда произведение получилось действительно для любого возраста и при этом не требует от взрослого игрока какого-то снисхождения. Тут всё прекрасно как есть. Это искусство.

    Тем не менее есть вещи, которых мне чуть-чуть не хватило, тут могло быть больше действия. Ветер мог бы погнаться наперегонки с птицами или стрекозами. Мог бы разнести пыльцу. Пригнать дождевые тучи на высушенные поля. Направить пчел на сбор урожая. Поиграть с детьми и их воздушным змеями. Помочь взлететь дельтаплану. Встретить в поле блаженного хиппи. Такие вещи могли бы сделать красивую игру абсолютно бесподобным шедевром, но на это у авторов ресурса не хватило, и вышло все-таки минималистичное инди.

    Очень странными показались титры. Если верить им, игра создавалась на протяжении 10 лет, коллективом не меньше, чем у "Assassin's Creed"...

    Про ачивки. К сожалению, половина из них имеет неочевидный и издевательский характер. Например "отпустите все имена на небо" означает "соберите все цветы в титрах". И я это сделал, но ачивку не получил. И это при том, что я заранее предполагал такой исход и обыскивал тщательно. Может, специально запрятано, чтобы пошли еще раз титры почитали. Ни разу не шарахнуться током в уровне с такой опцией мне видится вообще на грани невозможного. Если посмотреть на статистику, половина достижений есть лишь у 2-7% игроков. Зачем делать подобное в такой-то игре?
    Поэтому совет - не заморачивайтесь с достижениями, просто играйте в свое удовольствие.    … Expand

    It's kind of a thing, I guess. It's certainly different, but different isn't necessarily good.
