    Same old re-packaged. The game is heavily biased to Ultimate Team and pay to win microtransactions which I have absolutely no interest in. After playing the 10 hour trial It's safe to say I will not be buying this.

    Same game as FIFA 20 but worse. The goalkeepers can't make a save, defenders are invisible... And the best, it costs 70$... Volta lasts 1 hour and Ultimate Team remains to be the same pay to win. If you want to play a good game don't buy this game.

    FIFA 21 feels like a "demo" game with lots of bugs - the genius behind "no demo this time" should be fired. It's been almost a week since the official release and the game hasn't get better at all:
    - slow players are just for the number on the pitch... they're useless
    - if you play ultimate team - it's the same game as ever Pay2Win and scripted as phuck - in career mode on legendary    FIFA 21 feels like a "demo" game with lots of bugs - the genius behind "no demo this time" should be fired. It's been almost a week since the official release and the game hasn't get better at all:
    - slow players are just for the number on the pitch... they're useless
    - if you play ultimate team - it's the same game as ever Pay2Win and scripted as phuck
    - in career mode on legendary difficulty the AI use excesive skill moves (and when I say excessive, almost every step around your penalty area is a skill move, non required - needs just 2* skills for AI). Because of that it's rather difficult to take them on or anticipate anything... and every match has at least 9-10 goals: last 3 matches: 7-5 ; 4-4 and 5-4 (arcade game for sure). If I play lower difficulty(world class) then the scores are something like 12-0 ; 13-1 etc. - so, no fun either way
    If you didn't buy, just don't do it - play at a game center before buying - worst fifa ever.    … Expand

When you pass you somehow smash the ball so hard it reaches the speed of light, but luckily your players will also reach the speed of light so you can catch up with the ball. Defending is horrible, while the player on the ball is nimble and quick, the defender is incredibly slow. Goalkeepers don't even know what sport they're playing, they are awful. Game play in FUT is a joke the play is unreliable when 50 pace bronze are out running 94 pace rare gold players. The only thing they did was update teams. As a pro clubs player , it would be nice to get into a drop in match or not have to search up to 10 times just to get a game. Let's not even mention the shielding technique which makes it impossible to get to the ball. Luego estoy hasta los huevos de que los jugadores amaguen los desmarques, los pases van a donde sale de la polla a los jugadores, luego vas a tirar y hay defensas que son porteros, vuelven a marcar de saque de centro, los defensas no recuperan un balón, el juego se me buguea en cuandi voy a comprar un jugador, en el menú de fut de jugar a, si vas hasta la derecha del todo se tapa la opción de SB y no se ve, cuando te pitan un penalti con la mano el juego se vuelve a buguear y se reanuds cuando le sale de los huevos, el bug del árbitro con la misma camiseta sigue exitiendo desde 2017, el bug de la ralla de la barrera tambien sigue saliendo, para que te saquen una roja tienes que matar a un jugador (porque se queda solo en 1vs1 y le hachas y te saca amarilla), cada falta que haces es amarilla, los árbitros se inventan los penaltis… Expand

    Without a doubt, the worst fifa I have ever played and I have played fifa since 1994. I did not think they could make the game any worse than fifa 20 but they proved me wrong. It is so scripted and pay 2 win to the point, they don't even try to hide it anymore. Save your £60 and don't buy this crappy game

You can score goals from hilarious places! There are some players with insane abilities I give it 2 from 10 Fifa 20 was 10 from 10 for me it was great game and lovely to play for an hours

    This game is just not fun. The passing is off, pace is the only thing that matters and the goalies are useless. I play an online game with 14 ping and I feel like my players are running through quicksand. I can't tell you the last time I got scored on by a player that had 90+ pace and 70 finishing. my 87 rated keeper doesn't even try to make saves. I just wasted $60.

    This game is totally bugged ... Player legs are too fast for the ball.. Animations are totally broken. Go in replay in your match and look the ball and legs of your player, it's terrible...
    When you run the legs of the players pass through each other. The animations are totally buggy when you shoot, we can see the pulling leg pass through the other leg but also through the ball .....

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I don't understand how EA can sell 60-70 € nothing but an update of its Fifa 20 predecessor. In some ways even worse, it lost other licenses (AS Roma, Neymar in the Seleção, All the Italian "Serie B" deleted...).
    Paying for such a game that amount is somewhat embarrassing.

    Pace is still the only useful tactic, AI don't act like footballers (once the ball passes them they are essentially out of the game) and pass assist seems even worse than ever. And of course "micro-transactions" (gambling for kids) is back

Juego sin terminar y lleno de errores, con una jugabilidad obligatoria si quieres poder competir en la cual es mas efectivo hacer regates am aire que tratar de descomponer la defensa con buen movimiento de balon. Considero que este juego no se parece en nada al futbol. En el FUT existe un meta muy cerrado si quieres poder competi, en el cual si te sales de losLa misma basura de siempre. En el FUT existe un meta muy cerrado si quieres poder competi, en el cual si te sales de los jugadores met, por muy bueno que sea realmente en atributos y en el futbol real ese jugador, no vas a poder hacer nada. Ejemplo de esto el caso de lo frustrante que llega a ser enfrentar a diego carlos o joe gomez, jugadores de 83 de media, y lo facil que mis rivales corriendo recto se vuelven inparables con jugadores tales como chiellini o koulibaly, con 88 y 87 de media. Ademas cabe resaltar los voraces micropagos, lo cual hace que los jugadores mas fuertes del meta, independientemente de su media, esten a unos precios prohibitivos para jugadores que nos negamos a los micropagos que afectan al juego como es el caso. Y pasando a hablar de los defectos en jugabilidad, defensas inutiles dependientes por completo de jugar repliegue y auto block de los tiros, puesto que los porteros no paran ni un taxi. El pase suda por completo, es decir, es mas eficiente un mediocampo basado en velocidad con de jong, marcos llorente y valverde, que uno basado en lo que realmente importaria, media, pase y equilibrio defensivo. Como ejemplo a esto, llorente roba el doble de balones que casemiro, simplemente por el hecho de correr mas. Ademas añadir lo frustrante que llega a ser el hecho de que independientemente del atributo pase de tu jugador, el balon ira a donde le salga de las pilotas a EA. Este juego llega a ser una experiencia frustrante, aburrida y repetitiva, que incrementa mas con la toxicidad de una comunidad que solo piensa en ganar aunque tenga que vender a su abuela para lograrlo.
    Fuera de eso, en otros modos de juego no han cambiado nada de nada, clubes pro con una jugabilidad lamentable, como el año anterior, modo carrera acaba siendo aburrido y repetitivo por no hablar del "magnifico" ( notese el sarcasmo ) volta. Llevo jugando fifa desde el 2005, y es imparable la decadencia de la saga, que cada vez piensa mas en un modo sin futuro como estan haciendolo y es FUT y sinceramente pienso que este año el juego vive de los micropagos de algunos que prefieren meterle 1000 euros al mes al juego, que dejar el juego morir y que EA se de cuebta que asi no puede seguir. Para el año no comprare FIFA ni sin querer, ya normalmente no llego a jugar mas de 3 meses pero este me canso en 2 semanas. Gran acierto de PES el no vender como nuevo lo mismo sino una actu.
    EA deberia abrir los ojos de una vez y darse cuenta que si sigue teniendo jugadores es porque por ahora no hay real competencia, pero a este ritmo alguien lo aprovechara y matar la saga.
    Y me gustaría añadir para los que dicen que si te quejas de la defensa aprende a defender, que puede decir que defiendo bastante bien, y que si me maracan porque dembele es 8 veces mas fuertw que chiellini o koulibaly pues no es mi culpa. Y tñpara los listos que hablan de si te quejas de clmo es el juego es porque no has tocado un balón en tu vida, he jugado al futbol, lo veo aub a dia de hoy y sebque si yo tengo que defender aun tio dandome vueltas delante como una peonza, le parto la pierna y se acabo, no me mete gol ni giro a su alrededor como un tontopolla.    … Expand

    As for FIFA 21 in particular. I seriously have very little idea what is going on for the most part. Its genuine carnage. If i wanted to play destruction derby 2 id play destruction derby 2.
    Likewise if i wanted to play a rugby game id play a rugby game. If you dont want to try play the beautiful game but yet u want to win matches on fifa i suggest passing the ball one player at a time to the wide position then run for a try just like rugby. Seems to be the best bet.

    Why is there no safe side to pass the ball too?

    You cant build an attack up theres zero way of moving the teams around the pitch using creativity it just doesnt work.. the reward u get for being clever in this game is punishment ..

    For example... Passing the ball around and its all compact and tight with very little room for manoeuvre,

    Ur opponent gets caught out From a lovely little move in the pitch now there is room to exploit finally you play the simple pass for it to be cut out somehow? 1 pass from what looked like aimless clearance
    To the furthest forward player that none of ur 11 men want to step in front of and mop up simply like they would in football for some reason The all new collision system kicks in turns it into some sort of winner takes all tussle (the rest of the team sit and watch they do not consider any sort of danger)

    defending is painful, tackles don't work, players run past the ball, let the ball leave the field because their first touch is horrible, gameplay is just passing to pacey forwards and running on the goal as if it was rugby because defenders can't do much against it, winning this way isn't fun

In defence the AI allows defenders to stand well and truly out of position. To have centrebacks jogging back from halfway while an opposing winger is streaking down the sideline is atrocious AI. In attack, the best goals I've scored have beenIt probably doesn't deserve a 0 as a standalone game, but the fact is they have taken fifa 20 and made it play badly. The AI is my biggest gripe. Attackers make great runs and either stop as you play the ball through, or the through ball will be absurdly wrong. Most of the goals conceded and scored by me have been pure garbage. The really fast players, particularly mane, are so fast the look surreal in the way they run. It seems to be impossible to tell if your ayer is going to give a first time pass or take a touch. The games seems to decide if if it wants you to be tackled and takes that extra touch. There is zero skill to scoring from shots. You either get in position for that diagonal shot or you have your shot blocked. If there is a defender anywhere near by your player will take forever to wind up a shot. I'm really hoping they can fix this pile of **** with some updates..… Expand

I knew it was scripted and it was absolute trash but i didn't expect so much **** in this game. Everything is wrong,Worst game ever. Last time i played a fifa it was fifa 16.     I only play pro clubs mode on fifa as I have done for years, so my review is based solely on that. I've seen people say on here its the same as fifa 20, as far as pro clubs goes thats not the case. Clubs on fifa 21 is only playable if all you do is have a tall striker and wingers who endlessly cross the ball into the box. The ai players who are higher rated are completely useless and theI only play pro clubs mode on fifa as I have done for years, so my review is based solely on that. I've seen people say on here its the same as fifa 20, as far as pro clubs goes thats not the case. Clubs on fifa 21 is only playable if all you do is have a tall striker and wingers who endlessly cross the ball into the box. The ai players who are higher rated are completely useless and the tactics are totally broken, which was supposed to be a new feature on clubs this year. It feels to me like this game was rushed out and isn't a finished game. I can't even describe how disappointed I am with this game, worst fifa I've played.… Expand

Even though I am not a staunch critic of EA but this complete lack of innovation has caused me to put only 2 hours of gameplay into it (yes that includes ultimate team and career mode plus kick-off). I can not force myself to play this game anymore. I find no redeeming factors in this game. And did I mention they imported some bugs fromFifa 21 and Fifa 20 are essentially the same game.     The game is the same since FIFA 17, the mechanics are horrible, the gameplay is terrible. The servers are terrible and make the game even less playable, when playing online. It will be my last FIFA, EA is just interested on making money through ultimate team micro transactions.

Defence doesnt exist, every game is goal festival with results 8:6 etc...Volta is pointless, Carrer mode has some new additions but its boring, FUT is there just to make EA money. Basically its pointless to have player with high passing, driblling, stamina etc, only important is PACE. PACE PACE PACE, this game is a joke.

    This game is garbage. They have had the same engine which is garbage for almost 4 years, it is a disgrace. The gameplay is awful, sometimes the player I am controlling will stop moving, it is so frustrating to play. I don't recommend this game

    Game for fans who either need to work online at FUT every day, or instead want to try a modified career mode, which is starting to really look like Football Manager. Otherwise, it's a decent update for the full price. [Issue#307]

    The FIFA series desperately needs a fresh start. Right now, it relies mainly on the Ultimate Team mode and marketing, while going around in circles. Instead of leaping into the future, FIFA 21 takes half a step forward and two steps sideways in an attempt to differentiate itself from its predecessor well enough to rationalize spending money. If you already own FIFA 20 and are not addicted to Ultimate Team, you can sit this one out. [12/2020, p.44]
