    Microtransactions and scripting ruin the game. EA turns a blind eye to players' rage at microtransactions developing only Ultimate Team to turn the game into a cash grabbing machine. They deny scripting even though it is clearly present in the game, treating the players like fools. The career mode revamp is a joke, I hate it more than the old career mode. I regret buying this game will notMicrotransactions and scripting ruin the game.     Worst career mode (both manager and player) ever made.
    Sometimes I just want to have fun playing career mode.
    But they simply abandoned the career mode.
    This is easily the worst Fifa ever made.
    I'll NEVER pre-order ANY game by EA AGAIN

    10 for EA ,-10 for dynamic difficulty adjustment.
    DDA is sucks!
    You make 10 shots on goal= no goal
    CPU makes 2 shots on goal= 2 goals
    You find that you suddenly can't pass or rescue when the opponents in front of you!

    é um jogo que no seu marketing prometeu muito e entregou parte, não houve tanta mudança na gameplay, os gráficos estão bonitos mas não estão lindos como prometeram, o modo the journey vem com mais recursos porém sua historia é bem abaixo da do fifa 17, o modo carreira de jogador continua a mesma coisa então é pouco atrativo, o modo carreira manager vem bem modificado, atrai bastante e daé um jogo que no seu marketing prometeu muito e entregou parte, não houve tanta mudança na gameplay, os gráficos estão bonitos mas não estão lindos como prometeram, o modo the journey vem com mais recursos porém sua historia é bem abaixo da do fifa 17, o modo carreira de jogador continua a mesma coisa então é pouco atrativo, o modo carreira manager vem bem modificado, atrai bastante e da para gastar muito tempo nele, talvez o que estragou um pouco a experiencia com o fifa 18 foi a hype que criaram em cima dele.… Expand

    Fifa 18 feels like an ambitious attempt to make the game more realistic in comparison to last year.
    The truth is that the opposite has been achieved: in this year's version, it feels like the developers tried to put multiple animations together without trying if it works altogether. Yet again, the game suffers from inconsistent gameplay which makes this a zero fun experience.     nu recomand acest joc , e prea ofticat :)))) orice ai face nu ai cum sa castigi la sbc sau single player deoarece se oftica jocul prea tare si nu ai ce face . Va face in asa fel incat ca ei sa castige , toate mingile o sa sara doar la ei , portarul le apara pe toate chiar si din vinclu chiar daca are 54 overall , al tau u apara nimic , deci in concluzie nu recomand e prea ofticat =)))

    best FIFA so far. it could be better if they provide more options in offline modes (champions league etc.) rather then improving money trap FUT modes.. Apart from that everything is good: online mode is great comparing to PES and graphs are amazing.

I don't know how to put into context but anyone who knows what it is would definitely agree with the aforementioned statement. I am not going to buy another product of EA whatsoever, as a loyal customer I feel totally used.     First,.Its scripted,you dont have full control on the gameplay,the game doesnt allow you to win your deserved match in Ultimate team...i was winning 4-0,then lost 5-4 at the end.My Cr7 hit the crossbar 2 times from 3 meters into empty nets,and the goalkeeper was on the floor...I gave up my hopes and quit from fifa forever,at that moment.

    I've only played Fifa for a few weeks now and it definitely has degraded in a few areas, where 17 was better at. Mainly your AI team mates make ridiculously stupid runs and mistakes on defense. I've been playing it on legendary, I already adjusted all the sliders and am using a set up someone recommended. But I still find it ridiculously hard to score sometimes and it seems like theI've only played Fifa for a few weeks now and it definitely has degraded in a few areas, where 17 was better at. Mainly your AI team mates make ridiculously stupid runs and mistakes on defense. I've been playing it on legendary, I already adjusted all the sliders and am using a set up someone recommended. But I still find it ridiculously hard to score sometimes and it seems like the computer poaches to many improbable goals.     First time I've played a fifa game since 14 and there seems to be barely any improvements to the game and a whole lot of emphasis on fut which is just another exploitative pay to win mode.

    This game is garbage, It's gone downhill since 2012. There are a million people playing PUBG at a time and this POS game has less than 5,000. It is now a game for children, assisted to the max. i can not even find a single manual match anymore.     THE WORST! they only make efforts to please those that play FUT cause there's so many suckers spending money to buy packs. The gameplay is so scripted and annoying. They do it every year give us a good demo and a completely differnt game when its released EA is the worst just go PES guys at least the gameplay makes sense

    The story is good and immersing. Graphics are awesome. I am pretty much hooked to the Ultimate team. And playing one on one with friends is always great.

    There are a lot of bad reviews about this game but most of them are pissed that there are hardly any changes from the last FIFA edition. But if you look at the game from a holistic point of view, FIFA gameplay has come a long way. I    The story is good and immersing. Graphics are awesome. I am pretty much hooked to the Ultimate team. And playing one on one with friends is always great.

    Wow! Well...what can I say. Just blown away at how good this game is! Completely trounces PES to oblivion. I've played different versions of PES and FIFA over the years and not many have hit the sweet spot like this one. Far too many people complain if they don't change it up a bit, even though they shouldn't have to.

EA have added ingenuity to gameplay modes that Konami can only dream off (or obviously not). The other user reviews should be completely ignored as they just have a grudge against EA, which is really pathetic considering how much effort they have put into this game. I dont have the problem that my players cant connect with a pass, i dont have a problem with stealing a ball from a superstar player. Someone said, the game sometimes makes you a goalkeeper and blame it on the game scripting it this way. Does this person actually realize, that there is a button that makes you Goalkeeper? So this guy probably smashes his controller, not know what hes doing, and then blaming the game for it. Another dude said, this is the worst game, playes like arcade. When that is the exact thing that was changed this year. Its now way more realistic. Shows you how much this User knows. He probably never played the game and is just **** on it.… Expand

    in my opinion FIFA 18 graphics is the best every FIFA. There is a new and improved game modes in FIFA 18.A new team styles put the most recognized tactics of the world's best clubs on the pitch in FIFA 18.

    Fifa 18 mantem a qualidade de seu antecessor e lapida sua jogabilidade deixando as partidas mais rápidas e dinâmicas do que nunca, o que traz sem dúvida muita diversão.
    Todavia ainda temos problemas como o descaso visual com as demais ligas e times que não sejam da Inglaterra, permanência do polêmico handcap, e principalmente o fato de os gráficos serem praticamente os mesmos do game    Fifa 18 mantem a qualidade de seu antecessor e lapida sua jogabilidade deixando as partidas mais rápidas e dinâmicas do que nunca, o que traz sem dúvida muita diversão.

    This game is the absolute definition of trash. The game is basically unplayable. Literally the worst company with their predatory tactics. I hope some other gaming company creates a better football game. These critic reviews are 100 percent paid for. Because in reality, the USER SCORE is a true review of this terrible game.

    I know that this review is coming a bit late, but I just want to point out how every fifa game is pretty much the same now.
    Graphics of the game look like they come from fifa 14. The game play feels the same like all other fifa games. It's competitor Pes 2018, has much better graphics and game play (not to mention that it has lower budget than fifa 18). This just proves how greedy EA has become.

    While playing moves are more realistic, and 4k graphics are enjoyable, EA servers are often down, forcing you to re-login with lots of latency.

    Sadly, the game is also geared around in-game purchases to advance more quickly, and as a casual gamer, you won't be able to buy any high key players without either making huge in game purchases, or playing for literally years.

    By rebuilding the animation system the developers managed to significantly improve footballers’ responsiveness, which results in more fluent gameplay and lets you perform tighter maneuvers. That makes attacking a real joy, but in my opinion turned defense into frustrating chore that requires too much precision. [12/2017, p.42]
