    I'm obviously the odd one out here, but I loved Fallout 76... as a single player game (important to note). I played the game in 2020 when all the content was released and I was able to play it like a typical Fallout game and I enjoyed it for over 100 hours. Fantastic lore - perhaps the best of any Fallout game - and the sense of exploration and discover was amazing.     5 years later after the release. At this moment this game is a masterpiece, runs so smooth on ps5, flawless 60fps. Polished and upgraded version of fallout 4!

    It’s mindblowing. 5 years after the release. I started playing the game for the first time and it still has a good amount of bugs. Mindblowing

    Textures don’t load. The game crashes randomly several times during a tantrum. Enemies not seeing my presence immediately. And more

    Otherwise, I like this game. Been playing now for 30 hours. Doesn’t get boring. But the bug issues. Damn

    HOLY **** THIS GAME IS AMAZING I HAVE NEVER PLAYED SOMETHING SO GOOD. This game is not buggy at all. I love playing the multiplayer VERY FUN! The quest all feel original and are not repetitive at all. 10/10

    It kinda feels like a lite/worse version of Fallout 4. The new missions with npcs made the game better, but the stories are still not really interesting and way to short. I wouldnt play this game solo, because it just doesnt feel fun, i only played it with friends. Why did they even make a cap for the players chest this just ruins the fun. A low level will deal as much damage to an enemy as somebody with a higher level since the enemies scale to each player. When you get stronger over time the enemies in the same area get stronger aswell so there is not point for me to upgrade my character. The System before was way better, where enemies would have a certain fixed level in a specific area. I also prefered the perk system in Fallout 4 where you could unlock every single perk. It is a grind to unlock every perk, but this was another reason that kept me playing. Why couldnt they just make a Fallout with coop combatibility instead of an online Fallout. Im just gonna stick to the other Fallout entries for now.… Expand

    Game was a total mess on release and deserved the bad ratings, now I most say its one of the best games I played yet, good work they did but there you see again rushing releases never a good thing, bad rating keeps for all the life of the game, now user score of 2.8 for a game which is now for sure a solid 8 or 9.

    It's really really really terrible there's no ward enough to describe my awful experience with this game in 2023 and i played a lot of games from all genre bad and good but this is the worst it's the worst game i played in my life i feel insulated and i am sorry about myself wasted time with this game and anybody want to play this please don't play anything else but not this garbage

Offre anche la possibilità di non essere molestato da altri giocatori mentreConserva molte delle criticità dei titoli precedenti, ma chi li ha apprezzati adorerà anche questo. Offre anche la possibilità di non essere molestato da altri giocatori mentre stai girovagando per i fatti tuoi con la modalità pacifica, con cui puoi goderti il gioco con i tuoi amici e divertirti senza interferenze.     The main story is poor but the DLC which are free and the events are fun, would give it a go if RPG fan but sometimes it can get too much micromanagement in nature. Still can put in 1000s of hours.

    As of now in late 2022, I think I’m enjoying this more than Fallout 3, 4, or New Vegas. I’m level 77 and I have no real complaints other than the frame rate could be a little better on PS4. Game footage from PC looks to be smooth.     Even though I got it for free even though I wasn't expecting anything I am still disappointed. You have to pay extra money to play offline,in a sixty ******* dollar game combat is meh at best and the story is awful no content what so ever.

    Fallout 76 is a disappointment in every possible way. All you do is walk around and pick up items and kill stuff. There is an almost non-existent story told through audio logs. This just goes against everything the Fallout Franchise stands for. If Bethesda really wanted to make an online Fallout game they could have just added optional coop to a Fallout. Also don't get me started with the bugs.

    The game started as total garbage at launch, but today it's not bad. Most of the updates the game gets are actually improvements.
    The game is mostly fun, especially if you have friends to play with, but a real modding experience is still missing, and we got a crappy subscription service (FO 1st) post launch.

    Just got into game and from what I have heard it has come a long way sense release with a whole lot of bugs fixed it now runs just as well as any other game. With a ton of available content that was released in past years now is the time to venture into the wasteland.

    At lauch this was a 2 out of 10. After patching the game is now just "okay". If you find it really cheap and are itching for an fps rpg then give it a shot.

    А теперь на такой графон, такой геймплей и т.д. много не наловишь. Времена изменились. О чем красноречиво говорят оценки!
    Сегодня вышло дополнение 1.36 Wastelanders. Говорят сильно меняет игру. Скачаю, попробую. Изменит ли это моё мнение.........посмотрим!
    Была говном, говном осталась. Теперь вместо роботов задания могут выдать живые нпс. Всё!
    Дополняю свой отзыв по игре уже в третий раз за 2 года. После всех вышедших патчей в этот раз продержался в игре часов 40 к ряду.
    Что сказать. Ну систему прокачки немного доработали, чаще выпадают нужные карты, а не всякий хлам. Так же немного докачали VATS, хотя он здесь и убогий, но часто использую его по мелким целям, в которые трудно целиться, вроде работает.
    В остальном же игра невероятно коряво выглядит. Я не знаю как такое можно было сделать после Fallout 4 ( хотя и там не фонтан), но почти все враги, почти всегда передвигаются не двигая ногами, что касается всяких собак и волков то они вообще тупо левитируют над землёй. Выглядит просто ужасно. Попадания по противникам иногда могут не защитываться несколько секунд.
    Рожи у нпс стали выглядеть намного хуже чем в четвёрке. Освещение вообще с ума сходит, либо не видно не хрена, либо после включения фонарика всё засвечивается, да так, что все предметы сливаются. Ведь игра HDR поддерживает! Где он?
    И в конце концов игра просто скучна. Все до единого задания это: пойди найди, пойди убей, пойди принеси. Исключения есть, но их крайне мало.
    Вообще по игре бегают прокачанные до 200 - 300го уровня мудаки и мешают жить всем подряд, то начинают дубасить по тебе без остановки, то c.a.m.p. твой закрывают, то орут в чате как одержимые. Всё это конечно не критично, но сильно бесит. Почему модераторы не борятся с этим говном?

    I loved the old fallout games. I have no idea what the hell this crap is. No story, empty quests, not fun. Pay to play. I feel sorry for anyone who wastes their time on this trash. What an abomination of a game.

    It's a Fallout, open world, MMO (in a way) and with lots of details from the saga, that's good. But it has too many bad things for this game to measure up to the others in the series. The store, that's bad.

You dont get to interact with a lot of NPC's and most of them are just enemies that do something. Now your only friendly interaction is with computers or only through some radio chat.     After a few years of development and lots of additional content released I can finally say this game is solid. Tons of armor and weapons that all have a variety of legendary effects. Power armor, too, comes in a variety of styles with cool skins to boot. Great on your own, perfect with a fireteam.

    As of 2021, this is easily one of my favorite RPG's ever made. The new content updates have made this game a real treat for anyone who likes Fallout. If you played this game in the passed and were burned by it, give it one more chance. You'll probably love it.

    They murdered fallout and pissed on the ashes for a blatant cash grab. A firm screw you to whoever thought it was a good idea to release this. They took one of the most beloved franchises of all time and turned it into this crap. For the love of God just give fallout back to obsidian so we can get a game that's not hot garbage. This game is absolutely terrible.

    Initially, I was hesitant to write this review. People who are somewhere between having played for two hours and never having played this game love to come here and just endlessly dress this game down. I felt that my genuine opinion, and my insatiable love for this game would just be drowned out, among the incessant waves of "why was this made", "Bethesda was just looking for a quick check", and "the graphics are bad". But I remembered a powerful lesson that I learned as a youth, that shaped me into the strong, God-fearing man I am today: A man chooses. A slave obeys. A man chooses to play this game, and see it for what it truly is, and to understand the deeper meaning behind it. A sheep is told to come here, slap a "0 out of 10" and whine about the controls and occasional glitches.
    Yes, there are some minor flaws. A couple bugs here, some glitches there, but what games never had any flaws. Even Grand Theft Auto V, a game hailed as some kind of magnum opus, had a myriad of issues upon its initial release. But look past these minor issues, and all you will see is a modern masterpiece before you. People love to pound the pavement about the graphics. Red Dead 2, the game that most philistines love to compare Fallout 76 to, came out ten (10!) years after the original Red Dead. That is ten, long years all set aside for the RDR team to work on the new game and improve everything. Bethesda's Fallout team got to work on 76 the second Fallout 4 wrapped up. The release of 76 was just three (3!) short years after Fallout 4 released. I hardly see how that is a fair comparison.
    I urge anyone who comes across this review to boot up 76 and look past your biases, and unwarranted hatred for this game, and revel in the wonderland that is Fallout 76.    … Expand

    this game has only got better since Steel Reign has dropped, more cafting options great new story questline, the only downside is that there seem to be problems with servers which i can guess that bethesda is working on would recommend to anyone

The AI and it's pathing is appalling, screen tearing, terrible render distance and framrate, some crashes. Enemies without movement animations at all and clip around. Very boring solo, fair in co-op if you have absolutely nothing to play. ButBought for £10 in 2021 to play with a friend since we were desperate for something to play and the game still severely lacks any sort of polish. The AI and it's pathing is appalling, screen tearing, terrible render distance and framrate, some crashes. Enemies without movement animations at all and clip around.     I remember asking for this game on Christmas the year it came out and holy **** the story is boring as all hell the special cards make little sense and the objectives are boring or just padding for an empty world with not much going on

    Bought game on sale for $13 on PS Store. Played for about 20 minutes - all of which were inside the intro vault due to 3 disconnects. Game never saved, so had to remake character 2 times.     I hung in there and tried to finish the main story but the last mission is such a mess! Throughout the whole game you are given straightforward quests where following the objectives is sufficient to progress, but of course for the very last (long & ammunition-hungry) quest, if you don’t anticipate a little by reading stuff on the internet you’ll fall in the trap and have to replay the whole thing. This is just an example to depict how messy F76 can be. So are many other quests, or some gameplay elements like the Pip-Boy inventory or the weapon switches which are everything but fluid. These contribute to making the game very heavy and annoying to play.

    F76 was full of potential. I will keep good memories of it thanks to its cool and good-looking world & to its – mostly effective – coop system, but also bad memories because of its many flaws that I tried to summarize. I hope the devs will learn and someday release a new game keeping all the good elements this game had to offer.    … Expand

    Bethesda has still FAILED to address Cheater weapons that they know about and they don’t give a rats ass about fixing the game or any player reports. Biggest waste of money n time you’ll ever waste. I highly suggest stop playing and do some else very constructive.     This is definitely a must with friends. - Redownloaded it and I'm remembering all of my fallout 4 moments but with friends. 99% of the bugs I complained about initially are not there anymore and I'm enjoying exploring. The only thing I do not like is the micro transactions but that's just a small part of it. If you like fallout 4, give this guy another chance.

    Whoever made the decision this game requiring a server connection should be fired and never allowed to touch any single player games!!!! This game is impossible to play. As soon as the server connection is dead, the game kicks you out. None of my gaming activities involve network players. Bloody ridiculous.

    Not as bad now as it used to be. It's alright, a little buggy or glitchy, but still playable and somewhat enjoyable for about $15. Any more than that is not worth it. The map is fun and has plenty of variety for people who are in it to explore.

    Munizioni quasi impossibili da trovare, il gioco è basato su farm e fino a qui va benissimo, ma al momento che continuano a sparire munizioni e item dall'inventario allora vuol dire che non ci siamo proprio.

    After all this time - Bethesda using an extremely outdated engine still causes the same issues I experienced in games over 15years ago. I leveled myself to 77 when this first came out and then stopped playing completely for the last couple of years. And of course, creating a fresh character makes me run into the same issues that have pissed me off with every Bethesda iteration. In this case, I talking specifically about the button mapping issues that has persisted for decades now. And every time, I need to go back and reset to the default button layout so that I can see where the button's' that don't work, get mapped to. As the engine has a terrible time showing and correctly mapping buttons. I am a pc gamer - I map my "Active/Activate" button to the letter 'G' - but in FO76 - the letter G only rotates items when you try and build sometime and does not allow you to actually place the item. So again...I have to reset buttons to default, see that the default is 'E' - reroute this to another button that doesn't 'rotate' items when in build mode.
    I'm so tired of this...I've experienced some form of frustration around the button layout in virtually every single Bethesda game I've played for the last 15-20 years. Why is this so hard to address?!?    … Expand

    I feel this has become a solid game with a rough start and now it's just popular to hate it. I'm enjoying it almost as much as I have enjoyed other fallout games and feel the game has even improved in certain areas. This game will continue to grow and I'm excited about that because there will be new and evolving stories that hopefully keep the game fresh and interesting.

I got it now, years later because apparently the “Wastelanders” dlc finally made it a playable game. I got out of the vault, played for like 2 hours exploring the admittedly beautiful and interesting map they created. Then I put it down and haveMan this game sucks.     I just recent redownloaded FO76 just for kicks and it was still the same buggy piece of **** I remember... Easily one of the worst game's of this generation.

    Wow was this bad. After playing fallout 4 and really enjoying it, this was really disappointing. I put a good amount of time into it at launch, but I couldn’t even bring myself to finish it. The story (if you can call it that) was lifeless and empty. Just a terrible game and a complete waste of money.

    This concept could be cool but should have just been a part of fallout 4 like GTA or Red Dead but, i'm not even sure the online could work on the 20 year old engine that it uses. This one has too many bugs, too many microtransactions, and too many exploiters

    The Loot is a naughty thing! For the kill of Earl Williams (Event Boss) I got a pipe!? A "legendary" pipe!?!? Enemies can't be killed or    It is a disgrace! I have almost 20 quests that are bugged and can't be finished.     With over 500 hours of game play, i can officially say that this game has a great story, and perfect mechanics. On release, everyone gave it hate, but it doesn't deserve that. Its fun, has very few bugs, frequent updates and the Wastelanders DLC. The Wastelanders DLC is a whole other thing on its own, but it definitely adds some spice to the game. 11/10.

    This is a mistake no true Fallout fan will soon forget. Bethesda took us for granted on this one and made so many mistakes since releasing this game, what a disaster it was.
    I will never pre-order a Bethesda again, Starfield, TES6, I don't care anymore, no matter how hype they try to get us.
    Bethesda lost the respect of the gaming community, I hope they learn from their mistakes.

    Got code as gift in shop and played it just to see if this is so bad as people tell. And yes this is very bad game. And they was asking for it 60 bucks ... and even now asking for money for their premium club or whatever. Bethesda was great once, and it getting worse every year, Fallout 4 was not the best also, but this one is just Abuse to fans.

    I really love this game. it seems simplistic at first glance but there is so much detail added to the world and the gameplay, I have to commend the designers.

    I can't comment on PVP, but I play solo and in a team with friends. I have noticed any griefers and the community is helpful and friendly.

    I understand there was complaints about the amount of content before the free Wastelanders release, but I can't fault it now. As a previous WoW and Guild Wars player, plus many other solo games, I'm enthralled with Fallout 76

    The base-building aspect of the game adds a very pleasan't thrill to the entire experience. Also the Vendor machine mechanism of selling in-game items to other players for in-game currency, is also a brilliant idea. As a busy person, I appreciate the Atom shop which allows (for the most part) cosmetic improvements to be purchased for real money. The range and number of these items are a pleasant surprise

You join servers and you only spot few players who just stand afk waiting for some trades and automated-junk collectors. Addition of NPC didn't solve the biggest problem of the game: it feels empty, don't get me wrong you have a lot of quests to do, but somehow world doesn't feel alive, bad voice acting and recording does help.
    I really would love to see them scrap this game and start from scratch, maybe with new engine    … Expand

    So utterly disappointing and flawed in every possible way… The first few hours, most of it can be ignored, and occasionally the flaws can be forgotten, but only briefly before they come storming back to the forefront. An awful, boring, empty, pointless experience. There is, however, a glimmer of hope. It's worth mentioning that there has already been a Bethesda title that was equally as unimpressive: The Elder Scrolls Online - but looking at it now, it has transformed into one of the best MMOs out there. There's always the hope the Fallout 76 develops the same way and becomes something special, but for now, that seems impossible. It's a world away from that.

    Fallout 76 isn't your typical fallout experience. You don't have NPCs or dialogue, but instead get real players that should fill this void - that ultimately fails to do so. It does some things right, but as of now I cannot recommend getting this game as long as it stays a broken and boring mess that it is right now.

    Fallout 76 is the series’ Freshman introduction into the world of online, multiplayer games. As a result, we are experiencing all of the awkwardness and clumsiness associated with that season of life. It is imperfect and a bit uncomfortable, but I see opportunity for Fallout 76 to be more than it presently it - to be a truly great, rich Fallout experience.
