I played this game thanks to the PS+ subscription but I'll review it like if i bought it as is no longer available for free.
The game has great artistic direction :nice black and white graphics, design that made me think to Spirited Away (from Miyazaki) and awesome music that puts you in the mood. Great achievement on that point, but concerning the game itself it's really short (3 hours)

Great achievement on that point, but concerning the game itself it's really short (3 hours) and easy and I think that having puzzles to the right difficulty is the most important thing in puzzle games, but at least we've got a good use of the Dualshock 4 capacities. Concerning the story, it's very basic and will not create any passion.
In a nut shell my eyes and ears were pleased playing Escape Plan but not my brain, also too expensive for the length.

This game is great if you don't have much time to play. The levels are really short but there are a lot of them. Some elements are annoying because this game was mean to be played on a touch screen. You have to be fast with the cursor. I haven't finish it yet but plan to. The puzzles aren't complicated and this can be a good game for young family. Some may say there is a gore factorThis game is great if you don't have much time to play. Some may say there is a gore factor but it amounts to no more than a splatter when one of the characters die. Its all black and white and no blood.

I made the mistake of buying the add ons at the same time. Though I plan to finish it all, I would recommend against it as you may get tired of the game.

Escape Plan is atypical. The world is black and white with a beautiful soundscape. You play to choose the small character or large character with L1 / R1.

    Graphics 6/10
    Music 8/10
    Gameplay 5/10

These 2d puzzle-platformers are pretty common nowadays but Escape Plan is one of the best examples I’ve played in a while. The 1950’s cartoon aesthetic gives it a unique feel and, possibly as a result of being designed originally for the Vita, it avoids the mistake that many similar titles make and keeps each of the puzzles short and logical from start to finish. It’s not an overly long game, I’d guess it took me about 4 hours to complete, but to be honest I’d rather play a shorter game than one that stretches out its ideas for too long. Whether on PS Vita or PS4 Escape Plan is worth playing. Expand

Very minimalistic, stylish puzzle game revolved around vegetable characters. It's not necessarily bad to have wood as your characters in your game as soon as you make the game itself interesting, and that really is up to the user.

I, myself, didn't enjoy the game for too long as it simply got boring after a while. I can still, however, acknowledge that it's definitely not a bad game at

I, myself, didn't enjoy the game for too long as it simply got boring after a while. I can still, however, acknowledge that it's definitely not a bad game at all. it's good to pick up randomly sometimes and play through minute-long puzzle levels whenever you feel like it, and the game gives you that as an option as it knows it's made for short-term entertainment.

At its core, Escape Plan is a mostly good puzzle game.

With its improved controls, Escape Plan is now criminally good value for money. [February 2014, p81]

Escape Plan has come to the PlayStation 4, but it fails to make the transition cleanly. The puzzles are dull and the controls are ill fitted to the new system. I wouldn't recommend playing Escape Plan, but if you absolutely must make sure it's the Vita version.
