Dec 6, 2020I bought it to my brand new PlayStation 5 and I really looked forward to play it. However, it’s so damn buggy, every single game I have started have been impossible to follow through. There are some potential, but I am going to put the game in a drawer and won’t touch it in 6 months. The game is completely broken, I am so disappointed.

Nov 20, 2021I loved the game, a lot of fun after patch 1.09, fun gameplay, but at one point it gets repetitive, there's nothing like xcom, except minimally the combat, but I enjoyed it a lot, and I loved the rackt management part

Playstation Official Magazine UKJan 8, 2021A game that while atmospheric, turns monotonous very quickly, and whose ideas are never developed in a way that makes it interesting to play. [Issue#184, p.86]

Dec 23, 2020Great concept, horrible execution – that’s the long and short of it. Repetitive levels, gameplay depending on chance over skill, bugs that regularly force you to reload old save files… Empire of Sin just isn’t very good.

Dec 8, 2020Empire of Sin is a poor and skeleton-thin management game at its core with complicated systems, menus, and tutorials that do a poor job at getting you acclimated to the experience. Add on top of that a library worth of bugs that force you to restart, ruin pivotal moments of the game, and just make the experience more frustrating and you have a game that is not worth even worth a slight bit of consideration. Empire of Sin is a massive disappointment.
