    If you’re a fan of high fantasy, open world rpgs and the soulsbourne genre, then this is the game of your dreams. The world & character design is amazing. The scale of the world, the density, the verticality are incredible. There’s nothing else like it. Ignore the trolls reviews binging this game, it’s a masterpiece.

Enemies are cool to look at but a pain to kill. Unfortunately you have to cheese much of the enemies. Because they have unlimited stamina, so stupid.

There’s a difference between not having stamina on your character which keeps you from acting, BUT it’s horrible when you have full stamina and your character decides not to role or attack… or you can’t change weapon.
    Bosses have huge hit boxes… This game feels unfinished, like Anthem. I’m really not sure what music the reviewers are talking about, it’s the same combat music throughout the game. Repetitive…
    If you guys ever played dragons dogma, that’s basically the graphics. It’s especially noticeable on cloth clothing. R.R Martin really only gave suggestions, BTW not sure if they’ll get sued but a few of the enemies are from Game of Thrones… Example the tall soldiers with long white hair, frozen skin with ice javelins.
    Masterpiece… No… Decent maybe. I’ve lost a lot of respect for many of these profesional reviewers. It’s an okay game. There’s a formula to masterpiece games and Zelda nailed it. The map isn’t big, compared to other games. The only thing really going for this game is it’s pedigree. It’s like a minor upgrade from demon souls, and that’s even a thin line.    … Expand

    Not as good as Bloodborne but the sheer amount of depth in the combat and exploration makes this game so much fun to play. Light on the plot but heavy on difficulty - this is a true Soulsborne game. I love every minute of it!

    It takes the best of these amazing DS/Borne games and perfectly meshes it with a huge open world. Can spend hundreds of hours in this game.

    The game just gets better and better, a bit overwhelming in the beginning. But if you have experience with Soulslike games you will be hooked from the start. Played on PS4 Pro.

    This game is going to be the best game of this year, I strongly recommend playing it on Xbox Series X, the only platform where it does not give problems with lag or fps, from software did it again but this time better than ever, it brought together the best of all the video games they have released to date in one, with a beautiful open world as well.

    First game I've ever platinum with over 200 hours of gameplay. This game is a masterpiece, made me want to explore every nook and cranny like no other. I had super high expectations and even then, it managed to surpass them. I've played all of fromsoft games, they managed to create the game of the decade.

    This game is addictive and f***ing fantastic. It doesn't need to cater to everyone to be a good game, and it shouldn't. I don't wake up every day expecting the world to cater to me. I'm not that self-entitled. I recognize when a game isn't for me. Is it perfect, nope. It has issues, but on a fun factor, it's flawless.

    Excellent game if you are able to commit yourself to it. This keeps getting better the more you play and explore. Its incredible how this runs perfectly well on a base PS4 with only a few draw distance and FPS issues here and there. I am 30h in and have not even completed a quarter of the main quest. Seriously hard to put down and worth getting. Be aware its difficulty will punish you.

    I never played any of Souls and From Software games before. in the beggining I was frustrated and gave up after 5 hours and sold my physical copy, but then after 4 months bought it again and gave it a chance and now 30 hours in I cant stop playing.     Elden Ring seems to be the antithesis of this philosophy.     Elden Ring seems to be the antithesis of this philosophy. Almost from startup you have access to most of an ENORMOUS open world with only subtle hints of where you /should/ go - but even for people who prefer a clear direction because exploration is extremely well rewarded with new gear, more levels, stunning vistas, etc.

    True to FromSoft form, this game IS hard - but with the freedom to leave and come back stronger it doesn't feel as tedious or insurmountable as other Souls-like. With previous titles you had to Git Gud to progress, but with Elden Ring, Gitting Gud feels like a natural consequence of simply playing the game. Even if a boss feels impossible (looking at you Maliketh), there are SO many tools at your disposal to eventually overcome it. An amazingly helpful community ready and willing to help overcome any hurdle that proves too high (or if you are looking for a specific piece of gear; patchesemporium & beyondthefog on reddit), summons, and -to my surprise and delight- a simple change of tactics/weapons all prove startling effective. Over 700 hours in across 2 platforms (steam & ps4) and I can very easily see pouring in another 700+; and not regret a single moment. I cannot recommend this game enough. Even if you don't like Souls-like, give this one a chance.    … Expand

    Ok, tuve la suerte de probar la demo del juego y estaba algo incomodo por ciertas cosas algo desagradables que se encontro alli.
    Sin embargo, al jugar la version final me quedo tranquilo al ver que solucionaron los defectos.

    Teniendo experiencia en juegos como Skyrim y Fallout, supe adaptarme muy bien a la mecanica de mundo abierto, la cual disfruto mucho.
    En cuanto al combate, cada build tiene lo suyo asi que cada uno debe adaptarse a su propio estilo de juego. Refiriendonos a la historia, el lore y NPC son bastante interesantes.
    El combate a caballo agrega una nueva experiencia de la que eres completamente libre de usar o no usar.
    Aun no termino el juego pero llevo mas de 70 horas en el, y lo sigo disfrutando, y se que no dejara de impresionarme    … Expand

    I've been a fan since I first started with Bloodborne... then went to Souls... now this. Amazing. Beautiful landscapes... awesome music... epic boss fights.

    Phenomenonal. After 140 hours I beat it and I assume 90% of side content done to boot, it's just brilliant. Not my favourite Soulsbornekiro game but definitely my favourite game in the two years and one of my favourite of all time. Not without flaws but they can easily be ignored.

    An improvement over the previous games, world is fun to explore, cool secrets, loot and world bosses. The story is great and the bosses are very fun for the most part.

    There are some frame drops, most of which happen while mounted, or raining, . But there are no gamebreaking bugs, and the game was stable for me for 99% of the time, certainly more stable than Sekiro or DS3

    10 hours in and I can I say it's one of the best game I've ever played! Story wise, gameplay wise, everything is amazing. I'm not saying everyone is gonna love it, but Fromsoft fans will absolutely love it.

    A wonderful port. This is easily From Software's best running game on the PS4, after completing the game, I had 0 bugs and it had a really smooth framerate.
    Gameplay wise, it's a masterpiece. Hidetaka Miyazaki has delivered again.
    Elden Ring is not only the best game of the year, it's quite possibly the best game of all time.

    Elden Ring is a fun and interesting rpg with tight game mechanics. It runs flawlessly on ps4 in an age where the AAA companies can only put out one disaster after another. Fromsoftware has done gamers a great service. Best game ever imo!!!

    My biggest negative of the game is the change in music the game uses. In other From Soft games there is no music while you're exploring, just your footsteps and the sounds of monsters and combat, and then when the music kicks it, so does the dread and realization that you're about to get your butt kicked. The music in older games sticks out more because of this and becomes more memorable. Other negatives are slight balance issues, performance issues regarding frame rates (dying to due to frame rate drops in a boss fight can be quite frustrating), and hit box/hit registration; while hit boxes are in general better compared to older games, the open world aspect can lead to environments really messing up hit boxes and hit registration.

    Despite these flaws, I'm giving this game a 10/10 due to everything it does so right and so well. The best boss designs in the game are absolute *chef's kiss* and jaw dropping. The environment diversity is gorgeous and original. There is a massive amount of weapons, spells, incantations, weapon arts, et cetera, and just so many ways to play the game with all the different items and such. There is so much fantastic content in this game; where certain game companies (*cough* Ubisoft *cough*), From Soft has filled this game with boss fight after boss fight after boss fight, and then all the weapons, armor, spells, etc. that I mentioned before. Aesthetic is what From Soft does best, and Elden Ring oozes style and creativity like an open wound oozes blood. The game is just beautiful.

    While the game is not perfect, it is still an absolute masterpiece, and I cannot wait to put hundreds of more hours in as I create more characters, play new builds, and experience as much as possible. Git gud, and don't you dare go hollow!    … Expand

    GOTY 2022 worthy. My first souls game but definetely not the last. This game reminds me of old games that use to be challenging. The design is epic and the amount of things to do is endless. I am addicted.

    Great game. It’s like dark souls 3 only much bigger. Maybe a little too big . Ng++++ 150 hours in a I am still finding new areas and learning little details about the game. I rarely buy games on release for obvious reasons. From software did a great job with this one

    First souls game I’ve played and I’ve been playing the game non-stop. So much things to explore, quests you have to watch out for nice rewards and, character builds to play with! Loving the game! Well done fromsoft!

    No graphics issue on ps5. Stop review bombing this game based on pc performance! Throughly enjoyed my 10+ hours PER DAY in the last three days. Honestly think this is game of the decade. Open world is full of interesting stuff. You JUST NEED TO LOOK FOR THEM!

    Just about 100 hours of game and I still can't stay bored playing! Almost no bugs, even on PS4 it stay on 30 FPS (smoothing of 45 FPS) without drops

    un juego bastante god un mundo gigantesco con boses desafiantes y la dificultad es lo que hace que cada vez que llegues a matar a un jefe que te costo mucho sea mas satisfactorio una sensacion que muy pocos juegos logran en el jugador deben probarlo y tener paciencia ademas tiene distintos metodos para que puedas derrotar a un boss ya sea con un amigo o las invocaciones del juego :´) 10/10

    Performance could be better, but all in all great game. I don't know if I like Souls Games in an Open World Setting more than the usual Souls Worlds, but I think it's enjoyable.

    After 70+ hours, I finally get to talk about Elden Ring, FromSoftware's first Open World game.
    Unexpectedly enough, despite being FromSoftware's first Open World game, the open world in Elden Ring is quite possibly the best open world I've seen in a videogame... and that's mind-blowing. Seriously though, Elden Ring's open world proves how talented the developers at FromSoftware are; it has    After 70+ hours, I finally get to talk about Elden Ring, FromSoftware's first Open World game.
    Unexpectedly enough, despite being FromSoftware's first Open World game, the open world in Elden Ring is quite possibly the best open world I've seen in a videogame... and that's mind-blowing. Seriously though, Elden Ring's open world proves how talented the developers at FromSoftware are; it has an overwhelming amount of optional content and surprises, the map size is absolutely massive, the world design is fascinating and the sense of freedom & exploration is simply unmatched, however, it's not necessarily perfect; the catacombs are repetitive and some bosses are re-used multiple times.
    On top of the open world though, Elden Ring features the Legacy Dungeons; big areas that follow the traditional, complex level design of Dark Souls.
    The gameplay in Elden Ring is Dark Souls III's gameplay but much better in literally every way + some additional mechanics to make things more accessible, even though the camera is still awkward at times.
    The visuals are beautiful, the environments are breathtaking and the music is incredible.
    Also, there's an endless amount of different weapons, armor sets, spells and items for unique builds.
    Lastly, the bosses - particularly the Demigods - are some of the most spectacular and challenging bosses I've ever seen in a videogame.

    Now let's talk about people that are giving negative reviews to the gam.
    "It has PS3 graphics", no it doesn't, you can clearly see the difference between DS3 and ER, it doesnt have next-gen graphics because its a cross-platform game, you all should be happy its available for old-gen.
    "The world is dead and theres nothing to do", if your dumbass had played the game for more than 5 minutes you would know thats not true.
    "There is no story", literally just play the game, you skipped every cutscene and now want to blame the game for something you did.
    "Soundtrack is bad", if you had at least played the game up until the first boss you would know its not bad.
    "Extremely buggy and unstable", I have to agree a little bit here, but not much, I have 50+ hours into the game, and the only bug I found was one I jumped near a cliffside, my character suddenly slides down the cliff without me touching the controller and takes damage but doesnt die, that was a one time thing, never happened again, and about Fps, yes, it does have some Fps drops some times (and very rarely), but they are almost unnoticeable, if those little drops annoy you, youre probably some **** that thinks 120 Fps is bad.
    Thats all I have to say, Elden Ring is a great game.    … Expand

    ELDEN RING é intuitivo a exploraçao recompensadora, seu mundo aberto brilha aos olhos do jogador com a seguinte mensagem : explore e seja recompensado. Sua dificuldade é um dos motivos para que muitos não joguem mas para mim é o motivo de superaçao a desafios que antes considerava impossivel para minha capacidade humana.

    Great new and different way of a dark. Souls game. The open and vast map has a lot of different feel to it. Every battle can be so difficult that winning feels like a great achievement.

    I was not sure if Souls formula was going to work in open-world but From absolutely nailed it. Exploration is super rewarding with secrets and bosses almost everywhere.

    This is just a 10/10 for me. The game play is really good and I love the diversity in enemies and landscape. Graphics are great. Its not like ultimate extra detailed but it still looks good and doesn´t look like a ps3 game like people are saying. I haven´t run in any major glitches but I did had some really noticeable frame-rate drops really low I don´t have a system of how I can see whatThis is just a 10/10 for me. Lot of side characters, and funnily enough the situation you meet them are so much unique. You can build the character you want. Dual wielding, knight, assassin, mage, priest there is not limit of what you can do. There is endless replayability.

    The game is alternating between challenging and easy, depending of your skills. And the liberty it give you is rewarding. It does not take you by the hand and tell you what to do. No it is your aventure! In that mindset, you will have a lot of fun.

    The world is so rich. Things are hidden everywhere, each situation is unique, the amount of details they putted into Elden Ring is insane.

    There is fps issue on pc and ps5 that I hears of, but on every other system tye game work like a charm.

    Runs just like dark souls 3 and Bloodborne do on PS4. I haven't seen bugs or crashes/frame rate drops. If you have played any other fromsoftware games on PS4, the performance won't affect your gameplay

    Have only had 2 slight frame stops in over 60 hours of gameplay. Has amazing bosses, beautiful music scores, and an insane world. What more could you ask for?

    Absolute masterpiece, as someone who loves the other SoulBorne games I am so happy to have this. I feel it is a good start for new comings to these types of games and for me personally believe this will be my game of the year as I find it hard to focus on one game for a long period of time but this game has already had many hours sunk into it.
