Oct 21, 2019With its benefits and shortcomings, Inverge Studios puts on our table a game that old school players will love; However, we cannot stop asking a little more for a title launched for the present generation. Effie is an entertaining game, yes, but if you're not a true lover of games like this, you'll end up getting bored soon. However, it is still an interesting proposal that more than one will leave hooked to the first.

Aug 27, 2019If you’re a 3D platforming addict who needs a fill right now and you’ve played everything else, it may be enough to fill the time, but otherwise, it feels like there are plenty of other games you could be playing instead.

Aug 9, 2019Effie is a decent traditional third person platformer, but could have been so much more. Perhaps we’ve been spoiled in recent years, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that Effie could have been elevated if it had tied the interesting backstory to the game mechanics or development in some way. As it stands, the narrative is totally removed from the game itself and this makes it feel old-fashioned in the wrong sort of way. Not a disaster but a missed opportunity.
