The only issue with this game is the length, which is only about as long as an episode of the show. But for a $10 game it's not such a big deal that it's short. I was impressed with what's there, even if it's not much. It does look and sound just like you're in the show. The art, music and voices are 100% authentic. It also took a bit of time to get the final trophy which asks you to beat the final boss without taking a hit. Only 0.5% of people unlocked that trophy, so it's ironic that the #1 complaint is length yet people weren't willing to spend any additional time to complete the one challenge that the game gives you to do. In any case, I do wish they would release a longer version of this as a sequel, even though that's most likely not going to happen. Expand

Even as a big fan of the series it's quite difficult to recommend what is essentially 4 easy puzzles, a few short on-rails segments, two identical mini-bosses and a final boss battle that gives a glimmer of hope as to what a sequel could be. Voltron VR Chronicle would have been far better if it was limited to being a “VR experience” rather than a VR game. An episode of Voltron like any other, but one that you watch from inside the cartoon’s world rather than through a TV.

Voltron isn't much of a game but it's an amazing VR experience. If you go in expecting eye candy with a small sprinkling of gameplay, you probably won't be disappointed.

It would have been very easy for Digital Domain to make a low-effort Voltron knockoff, but instead Voltron VR Chronicles feels like a small slice of the show brought to life. While it is a little short, and the interactivity is somewhat basic, if you are a fan, this game is a must have. Next time, just let us form Voltron and give us sword and shield VR controls to take out the next episode’s Robeast!
