In my opinion, this isnt that great of a game. My reasons are these.
    1. Gameplay loop can get repetitive fast. It feels barren and empty trying to get around the maps scaveging for gear and tools.
    2. Graphics are pretty basic. It is pretty colorful but cant help but feel like Bandai use Xenoverse 2 assets here but cheaper i guess? 3. My biggest issues with this game is it is a $20-$30

    3. My biggest issues with this game is it is a $20-$30 game, (depending on which version you buy) and has a gacha mechanic. It is a live service game as expected with this kind of game and in order to get new abilities to help you survive longer is through their gacha. You can either grind out and save a LOT of your zennys to summon, collect some tickets to perform summons, OR skip the grind and pay your way to perform multiple summons! Please note the pulls are for the survivors only. So people can just drop tons of money and summon over and over until the players are satisfied. This screams pay-to-win.
    4. They have that season pass mechanic on here, but you dont have spend money or currency to get it It is available to all players at the start. HOWEVER, you can spend real money for their premium currency and spend them to skip levels on the pass and get the rewards instantly.
    5. The Raiders (villains) are pretty cool and really strong. They only need to hit the survivors 2 times to knock em out. Makes sense since we are playing as lowly humans. But unless you know what you are doing and too much time passes, you can get overwhelmed by the survivors and lose. Same for the survivor side. Take too long and the Raider will wipe everyone out.
    6. It isnt that fun playing the game alone. As i mentioned earlier, this game is too barren right? If you dont have friends to play with, it wouldn't be that great of a experience.. Which is pretty much the standard for all live service titles... it is too quiet and only way to communicate with others is through emote and pinging.
7.For the life of me, I cant stand Trunks. Trunks is so annoying to listen to! Keeps saying the same dialouge over and over and over and over!!
    8. The customizations gear and items are too expensive!! Not earning enough Zenny ,(basic currency) for each match and so cant buy that much stuff without grinding over and over.
    9. To learn no abilities, you get them from the summons or through training. If you have the specific hero, but not have their super attacks, you can use their training mechanic to spend hero soul points or something to unlock an ability. The issue with this is these soul points is another form of currency that takes forever to grind and cost too much.

For the time being, these are my reasons why i give this game a 4/10. The micro transactions should not be the key feature and they got too many currencies that take a long ass time to grind. The reward payout feels weak and not very rewarding. This a free-to-play mobile game withca $20 starting price tag. It is a very dissapointing game and i wish i could return it.

Games are too in the favor of survivors. They literally just disappear, and good luck if you don't have the ability to sense ki. By endgame you're dead if you aren't really good, and really fast at gaining transformations. And if you are good, and fast then playing hide and seek with survivors is boring, but once you find them they're pretty dead. Playing as a survivor is likewise dull ifGames are too in the favor of survivors. They literally just disappear, and good luck if you don't have the ability to sense ki. Playing as a survivor is likewise dull if you don't know what you're doing to collect energy to kill the slow raider. And if they aren't bad slow waiting until endgame isn't all that hard so long as other survivors aren't feeding the raider to go to stage 3 where they actually start being a real threat. You're more likely to be the killer in this version of the game, but it's a pretty terrible experience regardless of which side you play due to bad cameras. Expand

Unplayable as certain characters, untested, bad QA. Cannot believe it was released like this.

When it gets down to it, DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS has a clever premise that makes its gameplay occasionally fun but that often feels like the stars have aligned because otherwise, it's a generally repetitive and monotonous affair.

In theory, using the Dragon Ball universe as a setting for an asymmetric multiplayer game is an innovative idea, but The Breakers executes poorly on this idea, with a tedious gameplay loop and technical issues.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a curious experiment in the world of Akira Toriyama, sadly full of defects.
