    Because of this Devil May Cry 5 looks terrible.

    i finish it on ps3 game is good a lot of fan but this version on ps4 is 1080p and nothing more pliiiis do new games ps4 is not strong now .... i ask when you do something new ehhhhh

    This is not a Devil May Cry. NT totally ruined title with this reboot. This game looks like bad parody of original games with poor combat system, bad protagonist etc. I want to forget this shame and I hope we'll never see a sequel/prequel/whatever of this crap.

    Another lazy HD remake of a mediocre last gen game.

    I'd say this game is for fans of the last one only, in that it feels (and doesn't deny it) like a linear hack'n slash 3rd person adventure / platform game. Reviews are subjective to the reviewers taste, and truth is, this isn't my favourite genre, nor is it a PS4 (or XBO for that matter) game worth spending money on.     As for the game itself?
    It's pretty, it's fluid, yet it serves a one track story that you in no way can influence, you're merely a "TV-Viewer (without the reality TV vote button)". These days that's a big flaw in my part after playing tons of amazing RPGs, branching story-lines is luckily something we see in more and more games.

    DMC's not a game that manages to keep one interested for more than one playthrough at most.

    this game is average i dont know how it got good reviews its not as fun as the other dmc games and it has put me of this sort of game i will be passing on this id rather watch paint dry.

    Good was the time when games were only in memory , today any change leads to new title and the game be reissued a bonus mouth or half put the game in HD.     Worst Devil May Cry game I played next to DMC 2

    It's not even the same series, unlikable douchebag and his douchebag brother, villain is a joke and the story was written by a child who just started to learn how to swear.

    Even with the improvements, it does nothing to win me over

DMC used to be a niche game, few knew of the saga, just like Resident Evil (before the 4) was.     Without us, the original fanbase of Devil May Cry, you would have never had DMC 4 and DMC 5, which that last one, is simply, a masterpiece of a game.    … Expand

    Absolute garbage!!! Couldn't follow the devil may cry series properly for this game. I couldn't have fun with this game even though I had an absolute blast with the other games in this franchise. Capcom wtf did you do??? Red and blue so complicated why did you take enjoyment away from this game. Couldn't of come up with anything better?     Gameplay is ok with a **** story and cringy dialogue that misses the whole point of the original series. Don't recommend buying it since the original story continuous.

    While it's a solid action title, DmC doesn't measure up to the queen of the genre, Bayonetta. Ninja Theory's combat and graphic design illustrate their talent, but the weaker environmental exploration and narrative make the game an uneven package. Fans of the action genre may find a lot to love, but for most, this is a title better left in Limbo.

    In terms of the story and exploration it’s still DmC, but look at the rebalanced combat and you’ll see the good old DMC. [05/2015, p.78]
