I have a very mixed feeling from this release. In its core it is a great game. But released in broken state. Crashes, corrupted saves, unfinishable quests, broken controls, lots of missing voice overs and noticable amount of wrong ones. Plus several technical issues (stuttering sounds, missing textures, long loadings). I would say this game should be purchased, but someone in the future,I have a very mixed feeling from this release. The game has original ideas and characters.
The problem is with pacing and overall movement.
Also the made-up names, locations and historical elements makes it annoying for me. They could use real stuff and it would be a million times better..
7/10 for the funny moments, dialog and originality.

The crashes are unbearable in this game. It constantly crashed with unknown error over and over. It was was especially frustrating to lose all the progression in a long string of dialogues with no save option. Yeah, even in the final dialogue a couple of times. I lost a lot of nerves and time writing to support. It's unacceptable for a game to be in this state on a console. A typicalThe crashes are unbearable in this game. The game has great moments. The voice over work is some of the best I have heard. The characters are interesting, etc. However, there are indeed bugs. The game feels a bit unfinished and it drags at times. I am not sure about re-playability as well. A 6-7 is a fair score if I were to compare it to games that I would certainly rank higher.

Just finished the game. I give a 5 because it's an average game in everything. Nothing is fantastic, nothing is badly done. It's valid for the competence system, music ans sound design, graphics and animation, story and background, humor.

This game is fun, but not amazing. All of the long dialogue segments are intended to deepen the world, but most of the time they just extend too long. Worth playing but just barely

Despite my occasional narrative discomforts and technical gripes, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is absolutely essential material. This is a game that will stir the mind with masterful prose in one moment and have you gasping on the edge of your seat from the crucial roll of a cube in the very next. Disco Elysium will split your heart open with tectonic ferocity and leave you demanding more games exhibit the positively shameless amount of grace and humor that peppers every minute of this cerebral adventure.

With full voice acting of over one million enrapturing lines of dialogue, new quests, and an undeniable painterly look, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is a landmark RPG. Boasting an excellent murder mystery, it also challenges the player in deconstructing a broken socio-political system and interacting with its inhabitants. The game then slowly unravels itself a dense meditation on the human condition, made possible by your dialogue choices and their consequences. What’s more, most bugs are now fixed, making the PS4 port a near-enough perfect platform for playing this near-perfect game.

If you’re worried that Disco Elysium might be too slow for you, you’re probably right. It’s a visual novel through and through, where 90% of the gameplay is reading. It doesn’t skip any big issues, it doesn’t mind reminding you about the human condition, right after making you giggle uncontrollably; it wants you to be engaged, intoxicated, and uncomfortable. If you value engaging writing and exceptionally gorgeous graphics over a fast paced RPG, Disco Elysium is an adventure absolutely worth investing in.
