The graphics are not really good. They dont look like current-gen. The game is fun but it definitively need more modes! But I am sure it will get those in the next months, and then the rating can be higher!

Disc Jam is a kind of futuristic hybrid of tennis and air hockey that can be played either 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2. The biggest issue is that the controls never really feel comfortable and, even after a good few hours play, trying to return shots and sustain any kind of rally still felt like hard work.

As a free PS+ offering its worth trying out but I don't think Disc Jam is destined to have the longevity of the excellent Rocket League.

Disc Jam is a real fun game and has lot of potential.

Unfortunately the net issues and a random lootbox system gives the feeling of an "early access" game

    It’s alright
Disc Jam debuted for free for the PlayStation plus so it doesn’t hurt to at least give it a try… It’s fairly impressive considering it was built by a 2 man team, and there’s promises of new maps, modes, and characters in the future… But right now.. this is really just tennis… In disc jam you choose one of 4 characters with light customizable options that are

It’s fairly impressive considering it was built by a 2 man team, and there’s promises of new maps, modes, and characters in the future…
But right now.. this is really just tennis…
In disc jam you choose one of 4 characters with light customizable options that are unlocked by completing matches and taking your winnings to the prize machine….
You’re looking at about 1 skin or taunt for every 4 wins which isn’t that bad at all…
And the game is actually pretty enjoyable…
As of right now there are 2 competitive modes…
    single and double…
where you can take on one opponent or team up with another to take on another team in what is essentially tennis with a disc.. you slide, catch it, and throw it back…
you can lob it to throw your opponent off which give the disc air time and allows your opponents to charge up for a super throw…
you can also mess with the angles you throw the disc
and in rocket league fashion you’re able to taunt them and get under their skin with quick chat options…
which of course is always my favorite to do…
unfortunately it doesn’t get much deeper than tennis with a disc…
It doesn’t have the thrill of great completive games…
I don’t see it being entertaining for anyone beyond a few hrs
    it’s just sort of alright.
    I give Disc Jam
    a 6/10

This game have some mediocre graphics, and the gameplay is nothing special, it is trying to be something new and exciting, but falls more or less flat.

    Disc Jam.

It needs more features to remain relevant, but if its player base can remain consistent until then, it might yet live up to its excellent potential. [May 2017, p.83]

Fast, dynamic and extremely competitive, Disc Jam is absolutely entertaining, considering the few structural problems.
