    I had such high hopes for this game and they've all been met! Truly a wonderful game. I wish I could've played as Dante a bit more as I feel he is the heart and soul of the DmC series. It also brings that touch of nostalgia, not too much, but just enough as to remember the first entries into the series. I hope this isn't the last we see of the son of Sparda and maybe a future game couldI had such high hopes for this game and they've all been met! Truly a wonderful game. I wish I could've played as Dante a bit more as I feel he is the heart and soul of the DmC series. Особенно сломаная боевка видна на V - непрямой контроль фамилиаров с невозможностью навестись на конкретного врага приводит к тому, что невозможно понять, что в следующий момент придет в голову контролируемому (типа!) тобой пету. И как вишенка - призываемый убернечто по имениПроходнячок с ОООЧЕНЬ неинтересной боевкой. По сути сидишь и надрачиваешь одну кнопку. Отвратительный таргет лок.     Вульгарная девица со своей способностью появляться на автобусе где угодно обесценивает достижения игрока по продвижению по локации.
    Короче, для любителей слэшеров лучше еще раз Байонетту пройти, для остальных лучше пройти мимо.
    А да, графон ничего!
    П.С. DMC от Ninja Theory был лучше - и стильнее и боевка интереснее и за сюжетом следить было прикольно. Жаль не продолжили!    … Expand

    I kinda feel weird about this game. On the one hand I really like the aesthetic of it and the vibe it is going for. On the other hand, it kinda felt like a "look, dont touch" type of world with a combat system that didnt really do anything for me. I get that it is a hack and slash game and that combat arena after combat arena is the main point, but I kinda expected more. I think it isI kinda feel weird about this game.     The gameplay is absolutely perfect. nothing more to say, it is pure FUN. The difficulty scaling is also very good, and the 2 hardest settings truly feel like an huge challenge, expecially if you are going for the platinum. -1 point only for the V sections. They are too spammy and making your pets die in one hit in HaH makes getting an S just boring and tedious, not hard.    Awesome game.

    There's something deeply unfulfilling about the mechanics of this game. It can be beat once on normal difficulty in about a day and a half. Afterwards, the replay value will vary on how much you like the game mechanics plus added difficulty. None of the characters felt particularly "fun," I hated playing as V, and Nero was my favorite, but even then, I didn't really like playing as himThere's something deeply unfulfilling about the mechanics of this game. I liked the timing aspect of trying to fill the EX Gauge, but they never teach you how to use it. You just have to experiment and I wasn't willing to put in the hours to learn how to do it right by chance alone. It was too frustrating. I'm quitting after about 10 hours, having beat the game once on normal (getting mostly A's or above throughout my first play through) and stopping after getting to the Goliath boss the second time. I just don't see the replay-ability that most DMC fans see. Honestly, I think the combat system could use a little more polish. V is too broken (button mashing with auto-battle gets you an instantaneous triple S score), Dante is outdated, having not changed much at all since DMC3, and Nero needs more polish. I'd also would've like the ability to cancel animations a little to make dodging easier.… Expand

    For some one not very huge fan of DMC i had quite the fan playing this one. Because the copy was my friend's and i was visiting on my vacation, i tried and speed run the game to end it in 2 days.(2 game-nights) so don't expect me to talk about game mechanics and game styles
    the game looks good and the soundtrack is stuck in your head and replays .

    Dante who unlike past titles swaps styles using the keypad and allows you to have a massive style combo.
    Nero who is wielding his sword and has his Devil arms that give him different abilities
    and my personal favorite
    V a mysterious young man who fights with summons while reading poetry and deals the final blow.

    The story is okay but you are not here for that, you are here for the combat and it's here baby!
    It's more fast paced, flashier, smoother with more complex and unique combat mechanics than all the previous DMC installments making it not only the best hack and slash game but also one of my ALL TIME FAVOURITES! I need to breathe...

    My game of the year for 2019. The first DMC I have ever played, and I was blown away by the addicting gameplay. Each character with unique moves, that never got old playing with. The story had me interested despite not knowing much of the characters beforehand. The soundtrack was top-notch and made each battle more intense.     Absurdo. Únicos pontos fracos são a variedade de cenários após mais ou menos a metade do jogo e o mal aproveitamento das personagens femininas. A gameplay é maravilhosa, todos os personagens são muito divertidos de jogar. A história funciona muito bem e me surpreendeu, não esperava uma história decente quando peguei o jogo. Simplesmente incrível.

    I really have no words to describe how good and cool this game is, despite some mistakes in it (like irony and the lack of sense of some characters, acting like children sometimes) DMCV is a very frantic game, being the first DMC I play in my life, and certainly, it won't be the last, sustainable history, charismatic characters and conical villains. With rampant action.

    Amazing Hack n slash! Great graphics, people say it's clunky but I don't see it. Devs put a lot of work into the cutscenes. Fun to play great replay value.

    Truly, I did not enjoyed the game much.
    Story is pretty stupid. Devil may cry 1,3,4 & DMC were much better in this.
    Also, removing devil arm and replace it with “mechanic arm”? Bad idea if you ask me. In dmc4 it was best part.

    I was planning on playing this game over & over again until I got to the hardest difficulty. I was planning on maxing my characters out. That was until I played as V & realized I would have to play 1/3rd of the game over & over again as that boring character.

    2/3rd of this game is a 10 out of 10. It's just too bad that it's ruined by V. I honestly celebrate when he would go away or I would get to play as a different character.

    This game was absolutely perfect. If you could just pick who you want to play as for each mission, I wouldn't knock it a point. But the fact that you're forced to play as boring emo guy just kills a portion of the experience for me.

    I loved everything else this game was. The music, the style, the characters, the grandness of the way things are presented. 2/3rd's of a masterpiece.    … Expand

    I seriously cannot believe a game could be so much fun, every character feels organic to play, i learn new moves everytime i watch a video or play more myself, truly the gamers game, no excessively emotional story forced down my throat, taking more time than actual gameplay, no forced walking sections, just a fun ass game that i find myself revisiting often.

    This game was difficult to master at first but once you do, ohhh man it gets wild. The standout is the gameplays variety with Nero, Dante and V. I found the platinum trophy immensely tedious more than challenging, since it requres you play the game about 6 times. but apart from that, what a game

He takes some time to get used to, and I didn't like his character much, but overall he's a net positive. All 3 have FANTASTIC battle themes, but they play for EVERYTHING. They really do outstay their welcome.

    The great combat is still here. There are lots of cool additions to Dante's moveset (which I won't spoil here) and you can use them to great effect.

    One let down gameplay-wise is that the game is fairly easy on the normal mode. I don't why anyone would want a Dmc without challenge, so I highly recommend playing on the hard mode. I think 3 difficulty options would have been better, but it's a small nitpick.

    As I mentioned, V's character is bit of a let down, but that's not the only issue story-wise. The villain isn't really very menacing, and the game's final arc is never resolved, leading to a weak conclusion.

    However, this game is great in spite of all that. This game is a must-play for anyone who enjoys pure action games. Maybe it's a sort of relief after playing Gow2018. Either way, highly recommend.    … Expand

The Devil May Cry series hasn't been seen for a while, but now it has come back with one hell of a bang! Bringing back all the old, with lots of great new, is exactly what I want out of an action game. With fast fluid movement, a ridiculous amount of combos, that make it a game you can just mash a button or carefully chain moves together but have fun either way. Old favorites like Dante, and Lady, as well as new faces like Nico and V, DMC5 has a lot for old and new players to enjoy. The story is silly with a very Japanese feel. It's a great background for what the beauty of the combat, bouncing between three playable characters (Dante, V, and Nero) who all have fun and different play styles. Nero with his interchangeable robot arm, V with the two demons he controls, and Dante who plays like Dante with 4 styles and a bunch of weapons that you unlock right to the end of the game. Such as dual wielding motorcycles. There is a style of play for everyone. And for anyone looking for a game that is replayable, this game is perfect with a range of difficulties, and the ability to replay levels with a different character. DMC5 is great for a boring day with nothing else to play. Overall Devil May Cry 5 is a game that I would recommend to most. While this game does technically have microtransactions, there is genuinely no real reason to buy them as the game itself has all the options you could possibly want or need.… Expand

    To be honest, i played every DMC game so far (including both campaigns of terrible DMC2) and i am kind of disappointed with DMC 5. I had way more fun with Ninja Theory's reboot. Story is funnier in 5 but combat just feel... off. I completed DMC5 but i don't think i never come back to it again.

    Gameplay is sleep inducing & the characters suck. It's simply no fun for me... better play Bloodborne or NieR: Automata than this "Trash" here!

    Actually I always love DMC3SE most... But when DMC5 came out, it was like there's a fire burst in my world! Even the story of DMC5 is really awful, but the charming characters and god like action system really rocks!!!!!!

    i love this franchise to death and that may make my opinion on this game a bit biased, i think that this game is a top tier hack and slash with beautiful graphics, goofy dmc humor, and amazing gameplay. The gameplay lacks a bit of snap that dmc 3 has and it only feels satisfying when you're playing as Vergil which on the other hand makes the game too easy, the bosses on their own aren'ti love this franchise to death and that may make my opinion on this game a bit biased, i think that this game is a top tier hack and slash with beautiful graphics, goofy dmc humor, and amazing gameplay.     When one rival put on weight, grew a bushy beard and decided to raise his son in the Northern bewilderness, the other chose a pair of stylish high-heels a couple sizes too small and the third now only appears to smash some oversized ta-tas, Devil May Cry 5 is proving that it is too early to put hack'n slash games out of commission. It's a gorgeous, glorious game of great current interest. A crown jewel from Capcom's most skilled goldsmiths.

    Although the online functions could have been better, the unique and satisfying combat styles of Nero, Dante and V greatly contribute in evolving Devil May Cry 5 to the next level. While gaining a more photorealistic look thanks to Capcom’s RE engine, the stylish action we have come to love from the series is better than ever.
