    You're all mad, it's a great game.
Please guys, cheer up and enjoy things for what they are.
Calling everything crap when it's clearly first rate just makes you look like a douchy hipster.
Worst element?... The prospect of paying for more content. Otherwise it's damn fine stuff, single and multi player.

THe game was definitely hyped a bit much but I think it's overall one of the best if not the best games released this year. Haters gonna hate but whatever. Graphics, gameplay etc, all top notch.

Best ps4 game to date, graphics are great, the online is smooth and seamless and its great fun to play with a few friends. All the negative reviews on here are the upset people who choose to buy an xbox and are now stuck with a crappy system. Great game, worth the money.

This game has a learning curve. It is not Modern Warfare: Halo.

There are complex systems, but they are easy to get into if you have a little bit of patience and appreciation for depth.

Everything I wanted, and then some.

Wow, the hate on this game is crazy. I really like it, probably a 9 score but all the fan boy hate is not fair so I'm trying to balance it out. After playing the Alpha and Beta extensively, I can say that this game is extremely addictive. I thought I would have already had my fill but upon official release I still need to get my fix. I've only begun to scratch the surface of what wasn't in the Beta but it's everything Bungie promised. If the Raids deliver this will likely be my GOTY.

Very good game even ignoring all the hype. It's one that's going to evolve and grow over time much like a MMO so its hard to give it a final score. The game wont appeal to everyone, but its far from being as bad as all these low scores suggest. Expect this to be a larger and richer game in the future as the universe expands.

The gameplay mechanics are dare i say perfect. The shooting is tight and responsive and faultless. It is a joy just to hop on and off the sparrow. Getting a hang of the charge time of the fusion rifle to get a kill is so much fun. Fusion rifle over a shotgun anyday lol.

I bought this game solely on the basis of the beta and after playing the game for a considerable amount of time I still recommend this game without a slight hint of hesitation. I understand everyone has an opinion, but don't let the negative comments scare you off a game that I think is a thoroughly entertaining package.

Solo or with 2 friends. Campaign or crucibal. I didn't had so mush fun in a while. Gameplay is perfect. Level design are great and PvP maps all takes advantage of the verticality. Its all about the loot man! Your getting 1 or 2 great items on each missions. Loot adjust to your lvl too. Replays early mission with a friend who has jus begun the game and you still earn great pieces for YOUR lvl.

If you want more challenge you can play each mission on hard difficultie but the real pain is crucibal! You will be crushed on your first games . the trick is to experiment with classes and load out. Some guns are better in PvP. Look for more impact, fire rate and magazine size. Reloading in the middle of a fight is certain death! Titan is a good idea.

This is just my review so far. In my humble opinion, no one can review that game right now. This fps/RPG/mmo is an evolving thing. There's so much content we haven't seen. Raids, iron banners, weekly and public events. There's also 2 expansions on the way. Sites who reviewed this game on september 10 and 11 have clearly not understand something. When someone say that this game is 20 hours long...cod campaign is 5 hours long but I still play I all year long!!!

Don't lisent to all the haters. This game is great. I can't wait to see what's next!!!

As someone who's played the Alpha AND Beta, everything in the final version of Destiny is what I came to expect. The world is unique and inspiring, the weapons sound great and there's plenty to do that will last you for weeks.

It might not be the game for everyone, but for me, Bungie have made another solid game.

I am very looking forward to see how this universe and story develops. Besides the fact that I'm having a lot of fun with this game, I'd like to point out the perfect game mechanics and also the compelling overall design - it is really remarkable! Just my thing - Sci-Fi, dystopia, action, weapons, items, multiplayer, character customisation and development - and all bundled into a very well done package. Just a few words on multiplayer: If your expectation is to socially engage with other players like in MMOs and if that is important for you - maybe Destiny is not for you. Multiplayer is there and it works great but just like many things in Destiny, it is (positively) different. There's no chat and almost no voice interaction, this is more like in Battlefield for example. For me this is just great, I never liked the babbling in MMOs anyway. If things in the game require true teamwork I would only band up with players that I know anyway. Expand

In all honesty, I'd give it a 9/10 because in my view the communication is lacking (unless you go in on a party you're basically muted on all activities) and there's no way to challenge players or clans. But I'll give it a 10/10 instead just to counter the trolls giving this game a zero, which it does not deserve at all.

It was never, EVER advertised this way. And their failure to expect anything more that a Borderlands/Halo clone with a multiplayer system akin to Dark Souls (Also, not an MMORPG) is a solid indicator on how little they actually understand system mechanics and clearly represented information, let alone how to critique something. There were TWO opportunities to play this game with the Alpha and the Beta, which were both solid representations of Destiny. Granted this was one of the "biggest" Alpha/Beta test, surely they played it, right? The pre-release gameplay footage alone was evidence enough of it's stance, but these people who deem themselves "reviewers" couldn't figure this out for themselves.

So now, I will turn my "review" into an insight on the intelligence of the negative reviewers.

In a nutshell, they are dumb f***ing casuals who can't even process CLEARLY represented information.

Unfortunately, we live in a day and age where "gamers" are a thing of the past, since gaming has become as mainstream as daytime television (See: Xbox One). Pewdiepie is the king of the retards and people are still enthralled by Call of Duty and GTAV is heralded as one of the "BESS GAYMES EVAHHH"

Several points I've seen from aforementioned reviewers are subjects such as:
-Limited chat system (Stops trolling and reduces excess noise)
-Comparison to Call of Duty (Is it because of ADS and sprint?)
-Comparisons to Halo (Totally justified, since Bungie spent 10 years with the series)
    -Not being an MMORPG
    -Being an online only title
-No story (Dafuq? It's told as you play, right?)
-Grinding (Diablo was a grindfest too, y'know?)

Sure, I can take a couple of those points as serious consideration to negatively review Destiny.
But a lot of these users dismiss every other positive aspect about the game, because of their disgruntlement about a feature not being what they "expect", even though the information is publicly available. Alas, I leave you to your own devices on which users to believe

So rather than believe that big red bar, stemming from sh*t tier reviewers.

Try the game for yourself, read up some information or maybe even rent it?
Form your own opinion, instead of listening to the ramblings of subhuman dimwits.
You never know, you may actually like it...

What is most amazing of all is that despite its litany of weird little problems, Destiny is fantastic, its combat up there with the very best, the thrilling rhythm of its battles still not fading the 30th time through, and it has no single systemic problem that is not fixable. [Dec 2014, p.106]

Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Fortunately the co-op shooter mechanics are absolutely perfect. The loot system can be maddening, but in a way it adds to the game's addictiveness. [Oct 2014]
