Sep 11, 2014Destiny is not innovative. This game was already done on last gen with Defiance. That game was better and is now free to play. The poorly supported chat system makes no sense in a game revolving around group missions. Rent and return.

Sep 11, 2014A boring bland repetitive experience. Run around killing the same clumps of respawning enemies with bad AI as you go through the same small areas over and over. This game is really short too, hardly the epic they claimed it would be.

Sep 11, 2014Destiny feels boring and dissapointing as a fan of bungie games ie halo series apart from halo 4 the game graphics are nice but where is the story very supprised to be honest would have been better off sticking to single player and co op play instead destiny feels hollow and empty._...._................___...__.................

Sep 11, 2014I wish i could return it. I bought the "legendary edition" for 100 bucks - cuz i LOVED the beta. Well, not much to add to the beta. Then in the end, it's so generic. What really bugs me - when you're in a "no spawn zone" and die....you have to hear the peter dinklage voice monologue allllll over again. Gets old fast.

Sep 9, 2014repetitive and uninspiring. I played the beta and was on the fence with this game but decided to buy it anyway hoping perhaps it would improve on release. It really fails to live up to its hype, I can't see this FPS lasting.

Sep 9, 2014Boring, tired and uninspired - What did Bungie spend their money on? For the most expensive game in history that is supposed to revolutionize the FPS market - Destiny fails HARD. Repetitive and linear gamepla - check. Small limited maps - check. Boring enemies - check. Laughable soundtrack - check. Poor sound FX - check... the list goes on and on. Save your money folks - this one is a STINKER

Nov 25, 2014Although Destiny isn't the brilliant start to a franchise that many had hoped for, it's a great game for those who can push through its flaws and enjoy the ride.

Edge MagazineNov 5, 2014What is most amazing of all is that despite its litany of weird little problems, Destiny is fantastic, its combat up there with the very best, the thrilling rhythm of its battles still not fading the 30th time through, and it has no single systemic problem that is not fixable. [Dec 2014, p.106]

Pelit (Finland)Oct 25, 2014Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Fortunately the co-op shooter mechanics are absolutely perfect. The loot system can be maddening, but in a way it adds to the game's addictiveness. [Oct 2014]
