    Like nothing I've ever played. Surprisingly addictive gameplay making you think outside of the box to complete missions. If you came here for guns, guts and gunships, well you need to evaluate why you played Death Stranding.

    Honestly, I felt very boring when playing the first chapter. But after getting more equipments and knowing the story, I just noticed that I'd totally addicted to the game!

    Today I just finished all the chapters. It's a very good game, worth to play it for sure.

    So far it's a new adventure for a video game, I can see it does take turns with how the story is laid out. It's most definitely for people who are tolerant & love a promising fantasy & Imagination.
    In my own viewpoint, it's fun. I just can't get enough of the world! A+

    Super diferente y en mi caso a dictivo. Es un juego que siempre te deja con una en triga de seguir viendo a donde te lleva la historia de entender que fue lo que paso en este mundo que esta lleno de estas cosas llamadas BT.. Se los recomiendo se van a juquiar con este juego

    Truly a beautiful and wonderful experience. In depth traversal based gameplay, with a beautiful world of unique characters and astonishing scenery. This is not a game for everyone, but if you are looking for something wholly unique and extremely well made, then I recommend you pick this game up.

    I’m so glad i did not listen to the reviews of this game.

    What a great journey, diverse gameplay elements and unique concept. I truly enjoyed every single minute of this masterpiece.

    The Story, Music and Atmosphere all delivered.

    A must play!

    The game is truly awesome. Kojima-san made a game, that he dreamed about and promised us about. I don't have same feelings as other users have, i personally think, that his is a masterpiece here.

Я отношусь, похоже, к малому числу людей, которых эта игра зацепила до глубины души!! Игра сделана с очень большой любовью и старанием!     Death Stranding is probably one of the best gaming experiences I've had this year. It feels lkke a Kojima again rather than the mess that was MGS5 and coming from a big big fan of MGS2 and MGS4 its a dream come true. Fairly lengthy cutscenes with intriguing story and innovative gameplay is what I ever wanted!

    an action survival game where the terrain, the weather, the beasts, and the bad men are all out to keep you from delivering your boxes to folks and hooking them up with internet. Death Stranding boils decades worth of familiar designs and mechanics into a thick hearty stew that speedrunners will be chewing on for years. just **** eat it

For those Metal Gear Solid fans, you will get it 100% as it follows typical Kojima's video making genius. It is a very thick game that makes you think, plan ahead, and execute. I can already imagine regular games going at it from a conventional gaming mindset, dying on a mission early on and blaming the game for its poor mechanics; then running to a pc for a negative review. I'm a metal gear solid fan and it took me a while to get used to the mechanics and inventory management environment this games sets so yes, I would understand the frustration with some our there stating this game sucks. The story is compelling as Kojima is depicting the human dynamics post a global catastrophe and its implications . The reading material offered as a backstory in the game does the job, that is if you like to read or care to know more about it. Every character has a backstory and i love Kojima for taking the time to back them up. Details will fly over your head if you just want to pass this game. This is a game for the marathon runner. Take you time as most sub missions will enhance the play-ability and story line of the game. Over all, it is a master piece that will get better with time. It's a story worth playing if you have the patience for it. In summary, if you like shooters games, don't get this game but if you like a game puts you to think, appeals to your reading nature, and with strong story line , please enjoy Death Standing.… Expand

    By far one of the most innovative and entertaining games I have ever played. Kojima's finest work. However it requires patience which in today's gaming world is something rarely asked of a player. A true masterpiece in everyway

    Excellent game! Low Roar's music makes it even more perfect than it is ❤️ Lived the gameplay, loved the story even more. Now I'm on the way to get my first platinium trophy ever. Just give it a try, you won't regret it!

    Most important game I've ever played. People who just call it a walking simulator never got into the deeper story-line and meaning of this game. The graphics are beautiful, the characters look super realistic due to the motion capture technology they used. This game definitely just isn't about delivering items here and there.     Some would complain about long cutscenes, but its just how a Kojima game works. It's like complaining about parries, dodges and blocks on soulslike games.
    Death Stranding is not for everyone, but it is special. A defining game.

    It makes it so much more fun. The act and game play loop of connecting the strands of the country becomes addicting and so much fun. The multiplayer system is awesome. I'm obsessed with getting "likes" and it's super addicting. It's just seamlessly integrated where it never gets in the way of your game play so for those that don't like multiplayer, don't worry. It actually completely enhances the game to the point where there is no way you should play offline. Things like getting "likes" from other players for signs you put down, roads you build, storage units you make, watch towers and generators you put up, is SO satisfying. It makes you just want to keep doing it. Those "likes" aren't meaningless either. They add to your bridge links to the facilities and also increases your porter rating which adds to your influence on other players and how other players are affected by you.    … Expand

    I’m giving it a top rating. It’s not for everyone and I get that, but the game has depth and asks great questions. Similar to good books or movies. Makes you reflect on life. It’s not a FPS there’s no killing. It’s about life and the world we live in now. It’s a much needed addition to the video game bookshelf. Much respect Kojima.

    amazing game, but even more its a meditative experience. this game has totally new gameplay mechanics and it definitely delivers a whole new way of adventure. the game is very easy in my opinion, but its very long. if you liked the scenery and gameplay of rdr2 or assassins creed you will definitely enjoy this game.

The first two chapters are slow but they are meant to be so! It's the beginning of the journey and you are meant to endure hardships if you have little to none connections with others to help you. Keep playing and you see a majestic story starting to unfold. The characters are well developed and, in my opinion, Sam really resonates with the player. The graphic is incredible and the enemies are really creepy. Are the fights hard? No. And with good reason. Because they aren't the point of the game. The point is not the fighting, it is the quests to connect all the stations. The realization that when pooling all your resources together with other player you build roads that help everybody. Please give this game a fair chance. It's very different so it takes a moment longer to deeply understand its message.… Expand

    Didn't think I would like this, but if someone knows how to make transporting goods fun, it's Hideo Kojima. After the first 8 hours or so you'll immediately be thankful you stuck with it. Things open up and reward you for sticking through to the end. A must-have for fans of The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, or Metal Gear Solid.

    Гениально!!! Это ШЕДЕВР!!! - это если кратко. А так очень годный проект , залетает на ура. Графика - топ, музыка - топ, сюжет - топ (но надо немного подразобраться), геймплей тоже топ. Советую не дожидаться ПК релиза , это игра создана для ps , они дополняют друг друга.Гениально!!! Это ШЕДЕВР!!! - это если кратко. А так очень годный проект , залетает на ура.     Totally worth it and it's a game which is filled with thrill and huge payoffs...sometimes you feel exhausted and then suddenly the view opens up the destination in sight and a beautiful score starts playing....So awesome!!

    This game is superb. Can't put it down. Not a walking simulator in the slightest. It's a slow burn narrative wise but worth the grind. Incredibly satisfying and well designed game.

    I would simply give it 10, because the creator went too far and made a game like no other game.

    I felt very isolated during playing it. It is fascinating for the people who appreciate good quality game with new and interesting ideas.

The type of people who will enjoy this game are people who enjoy titles like "Grow Up" and the more slow paced parts of the "The Last of Us" series. Or expecting a "Metal Gear" game just cause of the past games the director has worked on. People can make other things you know.

    If you are a of fan of indulging yourself in a slow games where you can couch potato for long periods of times then you will enjoy this game. A lot of the game is walking/driving around obstacles and trying to path out the best routes to get to your destination. Each area having different obstacles like rouge humans, the Bt's and the surrounding terrain itself. Rushing delivery's risks damaging the goods you are holding onto making the simplest of tasks stressful and rewarding. You also do get character upgrades as you go, usually through side quests and trying to please specific customers. something as simple as having increased balance and weight capacity is super exciting. By the end of the game you are a human semi-truck.

    Story wise I dont want to spoil anything, but it grabs your attention by giving you really interesting and unique creatures designs, technology that does oddly specific things and a baby in a magic 8 ball. If you watched the trailers for this game and want to know what the hell is anything it shows in a curious light then you will like that part of the game. There are a lot of cut scenes BTW so if your a fan of those then you are in for a good time. And if you are there for just the gameplay, dont worry 90% of cut-scenes can be skipped. Even the big ones.

    I just finished it. Truly beautiful game. I do recommend everyone to try. For me it is best game of generation. Reading other reviews I can only think that most of writers never played the game. I really can see how this game is not for everyone (different tastes, but i still think everyone should at least try it).

    To be honest, this game is not 10/10, it's 8-9/10. But I want to make User Score at least a little bit higher, because this game don't deserve 0/10. Like really, could you at least not give it 0/10, you know that this game deserves more than that. So, if you hate it that much - don't give DS just zero, give it at least 5/10.     Death Stranding is not for everyone for sure. But I can’t remember the last time I got so emotional while playing a videogame. I couldn’t fall asleep for three hours after I finished this masterpiece. I’m not a fan of Kojima, I didn’t even knew who he was, when I started playing DS. I’m just sorry there are so many people who don’t like this game.

    Death stranding Is a very monotonous game. First 5 hours of game were awesome, but after that you see that game has nothing more to offer. This game is a good example of missed opportunity.

    It is funny that people are disappointed when it is not a first person shooter mechanics game. We all have played thousands of those, whats wrong with you. It takes a real mastermind to create whole different universe that has got deep storyline and still pleasant funny gimmicks. It is a absolute masterpiece in every way.

Но сам концепт слишком мал для такой огромной игры, словно Кодзима хотел быть инди-разработчиком и инди-игру расширил до масштабов ААА проекта и это плохо! В какой-то степени это очень медитативная игра. В ней классная графика, прямо реально новый уровень исполнения, анимации разнообразные и прикольные, но сама по себе анимация всё же дубовая, не чувствуются такой же свободы, как в той же The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. А транспорт в игре просто ужасен, как с точки зрения концепта, так и по физике своей, при желании можно ехать по камням по которым казалось бы невозможно ехать, вы будете кувыркаться скакать, но проедите например на мотоцикле на заднем колесе. О чём думал художник рисуя колёса транспорта без протектора и это в мире, где есть только труднопроходимая местность? Этот транспорт больше подходит для трасс для "Формулы-1" именно там нужны гладкие колеса. Второй логичный вопрос, почему арочные мосты через реки гладкие и глянцевые? Там идёт дождь, мокро, колеса лысые, а вы нагруженные под 150 кг - едите по мосту, который блестит как зеркало это просто бредовый концепт. Наверное они не сразу понимали что за игру вообще делают, быть может эта техника вообще предназначалась для другой игры? На счет темпорального дождя, с одной стороны он всё старит, но на самом деле не всё. Некоторые виды травы выглядят так, что будто в это местности нет дождя никогда, в некоторых местностях растут деревья, на которые не действует дождь, т.е. трава будет расти и увядать, а дереву хоть бы хны. Налицо дизайнерский просчет по концепту, опять же и это рушит атмосферу. В игре обалденная музыка и саундтрек, так же звуки. В игре есть продакт-плейсмент, я не могу смириться с тем, что покупая игру за немалые деньги, я вынужден терпеть рекламу напитка из реального мира это не пасхалка в игре это именно реклама, которую тебе прямо в лицо суют за твои же деньги.

    Плюсы:
    + красивая графика и дизайн мира.
    + красивый саундтрек и звук.
    + заманчивый сай-фай сюжет
    + классные актеры
    + присутутсвуюют хоррор моменты

    Минусы:
    - смешная физика транспорта
    - дурацкий дизайн транспорта (колёса)
    - спорная система лайков
    - плохой и примитивный стелс после MGSV
    - слишком мало экшена

    Это концепт игры, очень круто как концепт, но недостаточно хорошо, как ААА игра. Необходимо поработать над ошибками и сделать 2-ю часть намного лучше.    … Expand

    This game is just fantastic from it's graphics to it's story and it's themes It needs to be experienced at least once but it is a slow burn from start to finish you need to keep playing in order to progress if that is not your thing then steer clear Kojima mastery at it's finest everyone from the casting etc does an excellent job definitely recommend.

    There's a great game somewhere in the idea but Death Stranding is definitely not it. If you're not starved for something different and/or have a lot of free time (I clocked in at 53 hours), don't bother. I appreciate the fresh approach to open-world traversal and semi-innovative multiplayer and that's a weak 7/10 for me.

The plot and cutscenes needed tightening up, got frustrating towards the end and I just skipped them, which isn’t how it should be.     Calling it a "walking simulator" is kind of a low blow to be honest. I haven't completed a single delivery without something happening, like getting chased by MULES or having BT's show up. It's rarely ever a simple A to B uninterrupted delivery, so theres a level of tension with each trip. After a while, you would actually appreciate a simple delivery. Most of the time you have a new gadget or upgrade to try out, so theres usually a new spin on the delivery process (i.e it doesn't feel very repetitive). The BT's are really scary, and I start getting nervous every time it starts to rain. Theres a real consequence to getting caught by the BT's, so theres a huge sense of relief when you make it to your destination, or the safety of your private room. Keep in mind when looking at the delivery list that the story missions have a thin line of gold going through them. You could get bogged down doing every side mission delivery if you don't notice this.

    The online aspects of the game are brilliant as well. It's cool knowing that the ladder you left behind, or the bridge you built is being used and appreciated by hundreds of players. I didn't think I would be as into it as I am. I'm hoping down the line that the player base completely rebuilds the world. I think that would be pretty unique.     I really don't know what to say about this game? For starters it is very boring with long cut scenes that make this more of a video game movie than an interactive and fun video game.

    Do yourself a favor and just watch a game-play walk through on youtube if you want to fall asleep at night.

    Absolutely gorgeous game, and amazing story. Slower paced then what some may be expecting but it definitely delivers and will be one of the most unique games ever remembered. I find this game extremely tranquil and enjoyable. Well done Kojima

    i played about 8 hours and i like it. something i wanted for long, a chill game that you walk around in deliver package. im a bit done with the action games so yeah if you like a chill game this is definitely for you! but sometimes mechanics are a bit broken in my opinion that you want to pick something up from the ground but sam decided to just jump around for a bit like wtf dude take it easy.

    It has a strong fragrance unique to Hideo Kojima. Although Death Stranding has many advantages, it is hidden by a clear disadvantage. Kojima's signature hyperbole and seven-hour long cut scenes make the gamers tired. The unique world setting of this game and the background of the characters are interesting, but the actual gameplay lack fun.

    Pela história merece uma nota 9-10, agora pela gameplay realmente não acho que passe de 3-4, por isso acho q a nota do jogo em si não deveria passar de um 6, não sei se é culpa de muitos fan boys do kojima, mas realmente não entendo essas notas altas para este jogo dos jornalistas...

If you enjoy riding miles on horseback to reach an encampment that you must sneak inside to steal a blueprint and then sneak back out unseen!??! Get this game. You can’t celebrate in the chopper by staring at Quiet and clicking RT, but you won’t need to. Just making it up a hill can be rewarding enough.

    Any negative feedback the game gets is due to 3 letters: TWD. People saw Daryl on a game with “Death” in the title and they bought it. It was a great marketing tool, but it worked too well, so a lot of meat-heads are trying to play a game with a character that can’t cut up zombies or toss a football. “Hulk Smash”.
    So, if you enjoy Gears of War and think a gun with a chainsaw is cool, keep it up. Do what you like!

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
