    I love it. I reached Chapter 3 and it's so amazing. I love to deliver more and more to receive more items and more Gifts. The People who gave this Game a 0 are Xbox Players or trolls and there are saying there already beat the Game. Yeah. A Game you have to play over 50 Hours to complete it.     Juego aburrido La verdad poco interesante, se vendió como la revolución de los video juegos y no resultó nada más que un fracaso en cuanto a jugabilidad se refiere, su historia puede ayudarlo un poco, pero en cuanto a jugabilidad quedó debiendo mucho, además sus monstruos finales son muy fáciles y nada épicos, intento fallido por parte de kojima.

A guy which tired of pointless fighting, who wants to seat down on a couch with a cup of tea and walk into a beautiful worlds - you are welcome here! The graphic is so real and surreal at the same time, Iceland views are so magic and you’reThis game is something unique!     Muhteşem bir deneyim. Tam anlamıyla A Hideo Kojima Game yazısının hakkını veriyor. Benim beklentilerimin çok üstünde kaldı. Efsane grafikler ve muhteşem hikayesi ile açık dünyayı efsane harmanlıyor. Kesinlikle yaşamanız gereken bir deneyim.

    The graphics are something else, shaper, good AA, and beautiful... some of the best I played this gem... I can't imagine how it looks in Pro with HDR.

    The controls are responsibles and the holds buttons works way better than I thought... in fact they are really to get. I played 2 chapters so the story is at begining but it feels Kojima and that is great.     I did pretty few deliveries but I like it... you need to explore the map to find them and manege to not damage them... the sense of exploration is good and the delivery management interesting... it is engaging too, I took over 1 hour to do the Prologue delivering because I was entertained in find others delivering instead to rush the main pack delivery... it is just fun to do that because mountains makes the exploration very very addictive.

    Right now I'm loving it... I can't wait to play more tomorrow after work... it is 4am right now here... I played two hours without realize... I repeated the Prologue twice because I didn't want to damage the delivery packs.    … Expand

    Downgraded my review after playing quite a bit. Initially interesting but incredibly tedious. My life is boring enough. I don’t need to pay for further dullness. After about five hours the novelty wears off and you realize there is nothing there. Also don’t trust the critics — they are scared of being honest. This game is dreadful. Wish I could get a refund.

    Great game by Kojima. Everything is good in this game. Perfect and enjoyable gameplay, which doesn't bother. Perfect story write. Pretty good online system.

    The game is pretty simple. I played on the hardest difficulty and didn't notice any difficulties, died only 2 times, and all the stuff I have delivered always was in perfect condition. It's hard to deliver cargo in bad condition.    Great game by Kojima. Everything is good in this game. Perfect and enjoyable gameplay, which doesn't bother. Perfect story write. Pretty good online system.

    The truth is this game is exceed my expectation eventhough its kinda slow in the beginning with delivery process and stuff, however slowly and steady the game become more interesting and exciting honestly this wont happen if player give up after early hours of play. No será un shooter, un juego de plataformas, un rpg, una aventura gráfica, un shot'm up, un hack and slash... etc... sino un simple simulador de un humano que ha de transportar todo tipo de necesidades entre las distintas zonas en las que hayan supervivientes para ayudar a renacer a la humanidad. Esto se vio en el film The Postman de Kevin Costner, y sinceramente esta visión de Kojima me gusta mucho más, además de que la película es un poco bastante truñaco pero esta versión o visión del asunto por parte de Kojima a mí sí me convence.     This game is truly AMAZING! It's not for everyone but if u like it you're in for a treat :) This game DOESN'T deserve a zero like some haters r scoring it, even if u don't like it, it shouldn't have a score as low as a zero! THAT'S NONSENSE!

Giving the game a 10 despite its flaws just to fanboy is just as bad as giving it a 0 because it's hot garbage regardless of the things it does so well.     Personaly I love Kojima games, and DS is his best yet. The story is cohesive, interesting, and each cutscene is masterfully directed and looks like a movie, The gameplay can get stale, but the core gameplay loop is addicting and the game throws enough new gadgets and tools to make things interesting. Combat and BT encounters are meaning full and stressful, and you never feel OP. You feel like a dude trying his hardest to connect America again.

    In the end, this game is about the moral of its story, and how the gameplay can connect people even across the greatest divides which is what it does the best!    … Expand

    Leaving aside the spectacular landscapes and the visual content that might not be relevant to some, the travels are really enjoyable, even at the very start of the game are not that frustrating as the "viewers" are saying. Asynchronous multiplayer is very well done and works excellently.
    The gameplay is very various and has really brought me a breath of fresh air. It has a really strong story and it's a different experience that everyone need to try at least once. I gave him 10 to reward him, and to balance the totally unfounded negative votes and without a spirit of objective review. If the reviews had been balanced my vote would have been 9 for now.    … Expand

    I played for a few hours last night and fell asleep dreaming about the game. I'm currently thinking of an excuse to leave work early to continue my death stranding journey because this game is flat out perfection. Forget all the non-sense zero scores. You can obviously tell by now if this games for you or if you should pass.     Technological marvel. By far the most amazing game graphically when it comes to realism. Compelling story so far with a message of hope.
    Death Stranding seems to have a focus on the journey and having time to think.     I like my games with a good unique story, some eye candy, emotional engagement , something thought provoking and a good challenge. Death Stranding is a win in my opinion.

Regarding the negative reviews, I think a lot of kids don't like it because they play video games for a different reason, namely to turn their brains off and overstimulate themselves.     The world building is insanely cool and strange, I've never seen anything like it. The environmental design is fascinating, it manages to feel like familiar American landscapes and completely alien terrain at the same time. The dialogue is a little cheesy sometimes, but easily overlooked. There is mindless entertainment (Call of Duty) , and then there's entertainment infused with serious art, and this falls into the latter category.

    Highly recommend to anyone who would enjoy a very unique and artful experience. Wouldn't recommend to teenagers who play games to overstimulate themselves with video game crack and scream at each other while point-and-click shooting and dying a million times a match.    … Expand

    Of course this is not game for everyone. The main advantage of it is the quality of graphic and narrative. But while this at least could be a nice story based game for me it is so slow, that I am falling asleep while something actually start to happen. Real life is boring enough and has enough waiting for something to happen. I don't know how much free time you need to have in order to pass through 40 hours of cinematic and nothing happening in this game. For me, this game would be much better if it has instead of 4 difficulties, 2 story modes: short which would give player some quicker narrative and would remove 80% of scenes which are showing and saying nothing and original, which will keep the whole experience, for people who want to to watch at monitor 25 minutes and do nothing with controller. In the end I never know which cinematic should be skipped and which one would say finally something interesting, which will expose some lore instead of watching Norman Ridus face and his expressions. I would even say that boring gameplay could be more bearable if it wasn't followed by boring cinematic. To be honest the only reason to give it higher score is because for the past two months we really receive just boring and stupid games. Like people already forget that GAMEPLAY should result in doing something and testing your skills, not pressing L3 + R3 in order to balance like you are playing mobile game and tapping at its screen.… Expand

The rhythm is too long ... like in any recent Kojima’s game! Then you can play! The game is for hiking that Gran Turismo is for car racing. You prepare your path, your package, then make a poo while readingThat’s it! The new Kojima game! Like it or hate it !     I find this game fascinating bold and a breath of fresh air. In today’s age where most video games have tons of violence and limited depth. This game carries itself through new game mechanics that might not be for all. I understand the vision in which Kojima wanted players to treat this game. The dedicated buttons for hopping over things rapidly and balancing yourself does make out for an engaging way to make traversing through various environments an interesting experience. It really gives your character a good sense of weight without feeling like you're actively fighting the controls or animations getting in the way of responsive input.
    
    -Great music and audio work. Really gives moments a nice cozy feeling while keeping things tense. There were even moments where I thought it was actually raining outside since the directional audio sounds so good.

    Kojima has done it again. not only is this his first game post leaving konami and moving on from silent hills and metal gear solid but this game is balls to the walls increible and is a must play to any fan of kojimas work on the critically famed Metal Gear Solid frachise must play.

    It’s like asking a CallOfDuty player to review Witcher 3, and the reviewer starts complaining about respawn times. It makes no sense to complain about it because this is a survival game.

    Great Game! An interesting and unpredictable plot. Reading an email and an encyclopedia in the game is a pleasure. The game-play is meditative but sometimes it gets hot.

    For me personally, the game world has caused an association with the book Roadside Picnic of the Strugatsky brothers.

    You know all those boring fetch missions that you hate doing in other games? Death Stranding is nothing but fetch missions. It's so tedious to move around and deliver items. The story makes very little logic sense. The combat is absolutely dismal with the dumbest AIs who have horrible pathing and just sit around waiting for you to shoot them. It's a badly-designed game with a AAA budget.

    It's a better movie then game and even then the story isn't that good. Combat is really bad and the walking cargo balance gimmick is awful after you experience it for the 1000th time. You eventually get zip lines to go from place to place but your basically just bypassing the gameplay by using them making the walking balance mechanic pointless.

    The amount of Monster Energy drinks and how the game points it out is very annoying, if your going to put ads at least don't make it obvious!

    I love the Metal Gear franchise. This was a highly anticipated game for me. It was so boring. The product placements were pretty blatant and immersive breaking. Kojima was too busy making a movie and forgot to make a fun game. Luckily I returned the game after I managed to complete this. Do not recommend.

    Death stranding is one of the most unique games i've ever played. A story is something you want to know, but you have to walk a lot to see this. And... I love it. I just do not know why, but I enjoyed walking and deliver some cargoes while listening to music or watching videos. If you enjoy slow gameplay you'll like it

    The story is unique and amazing, the scenaries are beautiful, and the characters are very interesting. The gameplay is not the best but the mechanics are unique an they fulfill their purpose, inmersing you in a vast world in which youre one of the few people going out there and helping others. Definetly one of a kind.

    Очень атмосферный и проработанный мир. Что касается сюжета, лучше я еще не встречал.

Este juego que según el creador iba de conectar, dispone de un gameplay y una historia disconexa. El juego en si es un walking simulator con muchos obstáculos para no poder utilizar las herramientas que el mismo juego te da.
    Los enemigos también son obstáculos pero realmente terminan siendo nada con el avance del mismo.
    Demaciadas horas de juego son requeridas, para comenzar a tener una simple fluidez. Mientras que durante todo este trayecto la unica recompensa viable es las cinematicas disconexas completamente de lo que acabamos, y vamos a hacer.
    Los personajes son planos hasta el final del juego, el giro argumental es totalmente esperable.
    En definitiva, la historia esta bien, el apartado gráfico y el sonido también. Pero como videojuego es malisimo, sobre todo por olvidar esa parte importante llamada juego.

    There are a few standout moments in the game which are awesome, but 80% of the game is just walking/driving back and fore between checkpoints dropping off parcels The first few time I went through BT or Mule areas were brilliant but then after awhile it    I wanted to love this game and for a time I did, but after 25 hours or so I gave up as the core gameplay loop is very repetitive

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
