    Death Stranding is not a game for everything. It does not apologize for it's pacing and it's weirdness, but instead leans into unwaveringly. For me this game has been unlike anything I've experience over the entirety of this console generation and I can't put it down.

    Everyone that’s complaining about this game is acting like they didn’t know what they were getting into with a Kojima game. This game is very much in line with Kojima’s style. It’s a story rich, immersive, low action game. The plot is very unique and the characters are very well developed. I love the idea of “connecting” with other players around the world through gameplay. This game is definitely slow paced, which is fine for someone like me who enjoys RPGs and a story that grabs me. Not everything needs to be a fast paced, action toting, shooter with tons of loot. All of you complaining that this game is boring have no depth and should just stay away from this game. It was never advertised as anything but a Kojima game and if you are a fan of Kojima you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into!… Expand

    Es increíble ver que tantos niños rata califiquen un juego en 0, 1, 2, o 3. Acaso es injugable, acaso no tiene historias, acaso no tiene mecánicas novedosas, acaso no es gráficamente espectacular. No es un juego de 10 y no es de 0 tampoco, es diferente. Estas calificaciones tan bajas ocasionan un mal para la industria y por esa razón siempre se ven los mismo juegos una y otra y otra vez.Es increíble ver que tantos niños rata califiquen un juego en 0, 1, 2, o 3. Por eso los grandes artistas y genios de la industria no se les permite evolucionar, se deben encasillar en un tipo de juego que desafortunadamente para las generaciones actuales carecen realmente de contenido en su conjunto y todo lo que es diferente es castigado. Cuántos juegos hay realmente malos con una calificación que tampoco es acordé a su calidad.

    Creo que un juego debe transmitir no solo satisfacción, sino también sentimientos de frustración, agotamiento, miedo, felicidad, etc. Es por eso que un juego debe ser su conjunto y no solo la una hora de juego. Lograr pasar su etapa de frustración entrega un desenlace enriquecedor, una historia genial, ya que nos hace conectar con el mundo, con su realidad propia.

    Odio cuando la gente se enfada y dice que es una película y que no es un videojuego, siempre he creído que un videojuego debe ser una película que no haga sentir, todas las emociones. La industria está llena de video juegos vacios.

    Esto es el revolcón que necesita la industria.

People bombing the review scores are the ones who bought this game fully knowing that its design appealed to those who like a slow paced, relaxing exploration based game with good story/lore, inventory management and a minor stealth/suspense element.     I really wanted to love this game, I really did but it’s a waste of money. The attempt at making something new and fresh has resulted in an awkward mashup of walking and managing deliveries. The movie ‘The Postman’ must have been in some way inspiration for this and like the movie it fails to deliver an engaging experience. I am sure there are people who enjoy this kind of thing but thisI really wanted to love this game, I really did but it’s a waste of money.     Kojima should try to make a movie not a game. The graphics are great, the design and look of the world feels nice, but this "art project" simply fails as a game. It's not fun. And the message that we as people should connect is also pretty straight forward, nothing "deep" as I expected here.

    I think this is a great and unic game. It has great ideas and good working game mechanics. I love playing it. It's sad for me seeing all these bad reviews. I guess people expected something different. I get that this game is not for everyone but there were a lot of reviews from jurnalists about what to expect before the game came out. So I don't understand these people.

    This game is an embarrassment. If this game was published or made under the EA umbrella this would have been decimated by game journalists as well as users. People have somehow convinced themselves they are actually enjoying this experience.     I can understand how this game isn't for everyone, but this game is definitely for me. I absolutely love everything that when on in the game.

    El juego es lo más WTF que he jugado hasta ahora. Apenas voy por 3 horas de juego y me está dejando con "el culo torcido". Por ahora, 9/10. Cuando lo termine revisaré mi puntuación.

Death stranding is an experience and focuses on being art first and foremost over purely being a product engineered for monetization or profit for profits sake. The game is a cotemplative and self reflective experience and is deliberately slow as to let you feel the weight of ots concepts sink in.     a game with a bland narrative and with a gameplay without any fun, when Iwas playing almost sleep I cold not stand it plays 3 hours a gameplay not innovative j , just walk the whole game, WALKING SIMULATOR

    Really good game , i saw many feedbacks from other people that “Game is boring - FedEx simulator” it is real , but you have to play at least 15-20 hours to understand that mechanics wound’t change , but variations and additional opportunities to play are huge , in my opinion graphic is very good, movie scenes and music are brilliant. Frankly, i never saw such a good optimization on aReally good game , i saw many feedbacks from other people that “Game is boring - FedEx simulator” it is real , but you have to play at least 15-20 hours to understand that mechanics wound’t change , but variations and additional opportunities to play are huge , in my opinion graphic is very good, movie scenes and music are brilliant.     This is the most expensive movie for ps4. Sad for hideo . Conspiracy theories were more interesting than the game. I bought ps4 for my birthday by myself just for DS . And i feel totally **** after that. I really feel mad, so much hype for nothing. A really walking simulator and not even a good plot twist. I regret all my money for ps4 and Ds . Thank you kojima.

    Llevo mas de 20 horas de juego y les puedo decir que hasta el momento es uno de los juegos mas interesantes que he tenido el agrado de jugar. No solo tiene una grafica impecable, si no que además cuenta con una historia atrapante. Muy al estilo de Kojima siempre haciendo énfasis en el argumento, muchos guiños a películas de culto como Odisea del Espacio y con un compilado exquisito de musica ambiental que generan una inmersión nunca antes vista

    La verdad invito a toda la comunidad a comprar y tomarse su tiempo al jugar este juego, Ya que no es nada parecido a otro presente en la industria.    … Expand

    Original y diferente. Si no te gustan los típicos juegos de disparos y buscas algo que te aporte nuevas sensaciones y formas de explorar, te encantará. No es un juego comercial. Hay una cantidad de curro detrás de Death STRANDING, empezando por el diseño artístico, orografía del escenario y acabando con la banda sonora.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it. [Issue#299]

    This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
