    Games that focus on people's connection with emotional storytelling and play experience that are not found in other games. If you want to challenge a new genre, I recommend you but if you expect simple action game do not buy this game.

    I loved every menial task in Red Dead Redemption 2, cooking, hunting, shopping whatever, the slow paced moments really helped me absorb the feel of the game and get lost in the world.
    It’s the same for this game. Death Stranding isn’t supposed to be Destiny, a mindless shooter. It’s a thoughtful experience that you get out of what you put in, plain and simple.     Played it a couple hours, the graphics are not bad but the game is so slow and boring. I cannot understand the hype about this game.

    My advice is don't read any reviews. Go on YouTube see the gameplay, if you like what you see buy it. If not then don't. Personally I believe everything new is worth a chance and this is a totally new approach to gaming and storytelling. It is a technical masterpiece. It is obviously the beginning of a new genre.

    This game is absolutely amazing. The moment I started playing and the intro started I knew it was gonna be an experience I wouldn't forget. Don't listen to the negative reviews! It really is something to behold. My Game of the Year 2019 100%

    Un juego que solo tiene cinemáticas, gráficos y es monótono.
    Como si estuviesen haciendo una película y casi al final se hubiesen dado cuenta que era un videoJUEGO.
    Con unas físicas ridículas, y una jugabilidad que parece que estés intentando controlar un crio de 2 años borracho. Tu peor enemigo no son los jefes finales, que aunque te lances a tumba abierta a por ellos, terminaran por    Un juego que solo tiene cinemáticas, gráficos y es monótono.

    Intentaras evitar morir, no por la perdida de experiencia u objetos, que no lo hay, ya que al morir aparecerás exactamente en el sitio donde lo hiciste, lo que no querrás perder al morir, es ese tiempo de tu vida, viendo una y otra vez las mismas cinemáticas del BB.    … Expand

    The games cut scenes are like movie levels.
    Game play has a learning curve, but after unlocking more items and getting a hang of the mechanics, it opens up tons of ways to play it.
    And you would really appreciate a ladder or rope put by others when you are on a steep slope and carting a heavy cargo.
    This is the type of game i was looking for!

    As with any work of art the the value of the work is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like Marvel films others like 60’s black and white samurai flicks by Akira Kurosawa. One prefers blockbusters the other cinema. If you are of the latter Death Stranding is a remarkeable game or rather is a remarkeable playable book and cinematic artpiece with a huge dose of Kojima’s iconic style ofAs with any work of art the the value of the work is in the eye of the beholder.     Beautiful looking game, beautiful landscapes and overall a relaxing, intuitive and low pacing experience. The soundtrack and story are amazing and it's perfect for those who love the Kojima games and low paced games. Not for Call of Duty hardcore fans.

    le doy un 7 ,,visualmente es bueno ,, buenas cinemáticas pero es algo repetitivo y aburrido a la larga por su gameplay,,lo recomiendo cuando baje de precio como a 10 dolares o 5 pagar por este juego

    Gorgeous graphics, stunning landscape and an emotinal and spiritual story. Hideo Kojima is an exceptual story teller as seen through the metal Gear franchise. This is the start of a new and compelling genre

    One of the funnest, most interesting games I've ever played. These conservatives crying about it are hilarious. The game is a masterpiece. Don't let all these racists and boomers ruin it for you.

    While certainly being revolutionary in the way the game connects other players, it certainly isn't for everyone. I personaly find great satisfaction in going from point A to B, while carefuly planning the most effective route and trying to avoid dangers, the systems are rather shallow and first 10-12 hours of the game have pacing issues, because you don't have access to better equipmentWhile certainly being revolutionary in the way the game connects other players, it certainly isn't for everyone.     The world is bleak and depressingly empty which can detract many people as well, since the exploration isn't as rewarding as for example Legend of Zelda: BotW.
    If you're looking for deep gameplay and adrenaline driven experience, avoid by miles. The story and social features are worth it though.    … Expand

    I'm surprised how much hate this game is getting. I'm sitting here playing the game and get Witcher 3 vibes all the time. Not because it's like Witcher 3, but because it's so unique, full of magic and full of soul. It sucks me in like Witcher 3 (my game of the gen) and it's hard to put the controller down. And yes, it is a walking/delivery simulator in many cases, but the gameplay loop isI'm surprised how much hate this game is getting.     As all the people are saying the only thing good this game has are the story and the cinematics, the gameplay is Almost inexistent, this is suppose to be a video game not a movie.

    Love it! Very engaging story, gorgeous open spaces to explore, interesting take on social interactions and multiplayer.
    This game is not for everyone. But if you are into Sci-fi mixed with weird AF Kojima twists you will feel right at home.

The story is actually interesting, yes the cutscenes are really long, and if you don’t like that this game wasn’t made for you. I know people don’t like hearing that but it’s the truth.

The narrative of the game is perfect and introspective, makes references to Blade Runner and Mad Max, its complexity is not for anyone, it is a game that stirs your empathy, your psychological in a unique way, who is criticizing the game is not is connected to nothing that the game goes through!     Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it. [Issue#299]

    This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
