    Dont listen to the people giving this game a low score its definitely a 10/10 some people love gaming and other people love fortnight.... but lets be real, if u like a great story then this game is for  you if you like just hopping on the ps4 and shooting some people then cod just came out a few weeks ago u might as well go get that . Im not going to spoil anything all ima say is some people say the beginning  takes forever but it dont  people want a game where they can jump into and have everything in the game at there fingertips like guns wepons transportation tools  you wont get that this game works in increments which i think is actually a good thing because it really makes the game 10x more fun and longer than any other game norman reedus is the perfect main character for this game and kojima did a epic job on this game  the story is very insane too and its really hard rn not to spoil anything so just go buy the freaking  game.… Expand

Hideo Kojima has managed to make AAA gaming companies completely embarrassed with this game, proving you don't need too much to provide hours of fun and a visually stunning game. Everything in this game is brilliant and clearly developed with love, making a perfect start for the KojiPro. Of course, this is NOT a game for everyone, but isn't all the games like that?Absolutely stunning!     Kojima has done it again, there’s no game like this out there. It’s such an immersive experience and such a beautiful game. Can feel a bit fetch questy and repetitive but you have to look at the forest for the trees it’s about the journey not the destination. Yes you are simply delivering packages but getting there provides obstacles whether it be puzzling through the terrain, stealthingKojima has done it again, there’s no game like this out there.     I Need to say that this game is different is probably making a new gender in videogames so many people will not understand it but this game is a masterpiece you feel that you are in the game and not many games give you that feeling is a Beautiful game and is sad to see that people just see it as a walking game but is more than that but i believe this game is done only for chosen people.

    A game as great as it is unique. Kojima proves himself again. Just be patient and allow the game to really show itself after the first few hours.

    I have never seen and played something like that! Story grabs you in from the first hour!
    Amazing music, photo realistic graphic, never seen before gameplay mechanics. It is an Oscar worthy story! It is a must! I registered just to rate this game with 10! I highly recommend it!

Feel like there is no genre which fits to this game, you have to explain the story. The story really matters in Death Stranding. Even though, the whole experienced is enchanced with stunning graphics, phenomenal soundtrack andAbsolutely love this game. When I speak about the game with my friends I cant explain it.     All the negative reviews are Frank and detailed from experienced gamers. The positive reviews mainly defend Kojima and attack the "trolls" without actually reviewing the game. This should be telling enough. The game is clearly boring, albeit visually stunning. The story is intriguing yes but told in a clumsy and repetitive fashion. Avoid.

    So far Death Stranding has been a very solid experience with unique and tense moments peppered by an interesting story. There absolutely IS gameplay here and it’s something pretty different. I’m personally having fun with the traversal mechanics and the gear planning and management.     I played only 6 hours and I didn't reach the chapter 3 yet (Kojima says that the good start there), but its a spectular game with a charismatics characters, execelent gameplay and obviusly the most original history I ve see in years

    This Game is truly a work of Art!, right up in in a league with games from team ico (Shadow of the colossus / The last Guardian ).
    It's full of little Details, sidekicks to classic literature, movies and philosophie!. Just google "Odradek" for instance, an item described as "useless" in Franz Kafkas "Die Sorge des Hausvaters"(1920).     Excellent game! This is a new take on gaming and I’m enjoying it to the fullest. Just take your time with it and enjoy it. Controls great and gameplay is intense when in BT territory. Game ideas and new mechanics (hiking gear, and movement physics) are very refreshing. Production values are top notch. If possible make sure you play it on a HDR capable tv it looks really amazing.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
