    The most beautiful and compelling game i’ve played this generation. It makes me want to go back to Iceland so bad.

    One of the most gaming experiences I've ever had. Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews, most likely those people didn't play more than 5 hours. I'm 50+ hours in and just beat it and I can officially say, this game is a MUST BUY. Easily a 10/10 and probably the best game of this generation.

    Just as promised, this is a different kind of game. This is indeed a walking simulator and an interesting one if you actually play it yourself. You just can’t experience all the fun stuff by watching videos. Yes I think this game starts off boring with limited tools and confusing plot. But once you’re getting into it, you can’t stop. It’s so beautiful and Kojima-crafted. Different kind ofJust as promised, this is a different kind of game. This is indeed a walking simulator and an interesting one if you actually play it yourself.     I'm a good 8 hours in: This game is not for everyone including a % of Kojima MGS fans. Gameplay grinding reflects real-life vulnerabilities, and rest assured its mechanics deepen as the game continues. Put Lost, Black Mirror, David Lynch, Donnie Darko, and Into the Wild into a blender and that may begin to paint what you're in for. Definitely worth the experience.     Chic game. Who now makes games not based on patterns of established genres? The most interesting simulator that I played in, with actors / directors and an author’s script flavored with a postmodern.

Многие говорят ,что мир пустой,но онлайн составляющая наполняет его и делает живым,просто блоггеры играли до релиза и онлайна у них небыло.Многие выставили оценки непройля игру ,я потратил два дня и дошел до финала эта сейчас сижу и плачу, это шедевр, Кодзима гений.Это шедевр.     Death Stranding é uma verdadeira obra de arte, com uma excelente historia e excelente gráficos, o jogo apesar de ser lento acho que teve um proposito pra isso, para podermos apreciar mais o jogo e imergir mais nesse mundo, pessoas no mundo deveriam abrir a mente e sempre ter boas expectativas,

Im not a follower of kojima and death stranding does have its flaws...but nothing like this 0/10 bull. Losers who haven't even played the game think they have the right to bully and slate a game when they have no right to whatsoever.     Unique, kojima has done it again. It is undoubtedly one of the best games of the generation. ths soundtrack, the world, the detail level, the history and mainly the gameplay, it is very addictive to plan your path and protect yourself from adversities during the trip. It is not a game of going from point A to point B, the beauty of this game is in the path between point A to point B, "the path"

    Definitely not for the call of duty/Madden/ FIFA crowd that are will willingly shell out 60dollars every year for the exact same game. A MASTERPIECE!

    the game is awesome, its not a game you can only put 50% into while you play and watch Netflix, its an experience you need to put 100 of your attention into, turn off the cell phone, and put yourself in the main character shoes, too many games are focused on instant gratification, and this is not.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Once you’ve invested enough time into the game it is a beautiful masterpiece. To me, I was a fan straight from the beginning. I like a challenge that isn’t always necessarily having to do with fighting. That being said, I’ve beaten the game and the late game/end game fighting is beautiful. The story is a cinematic masterpiece, winding through different parts until uniting as one. The story of Clifford Unger and Sam are beautiful. Ameilie and Bridget both play their roles well in terms of being creepy and somewhat revealing when you figure out they’re the same person later in the game.… Expand

Love action games like Devil may cry or shooters like Borderlands or Overwatch. But what sets death stranding apart from all of that, is how well everything is executed. The Story is long almost 7 or more hours of cutscenes, and such and engaging and rich world that's built. Amazing voice acting from Troy Baker, Norman Reedus, Del Toro. And many others. The games meant to play connected online. Because it builds a sense of community and helpfulness between players. Showing that not every interaction between gamers has to be competitive. It's a game about helping others. Even in the smallest way or in a huge dramatic way. I've spent over 20 hours in this game and I'm only on chapter 3. As you play the world opens and expands and brings new gadgets and gizmos to make the journey even more enjoyable. Walk into this game. Don't run. And take a journey through America.

    The only reason why it's not a 10/10 for me is because I do enjoy good combat. But the combat is just basic and decent. Not horrible but nothing inspiring.    … Expand

    As with any work of art the the value of the work is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like Marvel films others like 60’s black and white samurai flicks by Akira Kurosawa. One prefers blockbusters the other cinema. If you are of the latter Death Stranding is a remarkeable game or rather is a remarkeable playable book and cinematic artpiece with a huge dose of Kojima’s iconic style ofAs with any work of art the the value of the work is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like Marvel films others like 60’s black and white samurai flicks by Akira Kurosawa. One prefers blockbusters the other cinema. If you are of the latter Death Stranding is a remarkeable game or rather is a remarkeable playable book and cinematic artpiece with a huge dose of Kojima’s iconic style of Sci-Fi woven through.     People go hell or heaven still enjoy their life. The spiritualists say heaven and hell are here. It's what you do "You Love Living". Here is the journey. It feels breathtaking in every step.This is the change and there are lame reviews who couldn't accept it. Enjoy this revolutionary game.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
