    The game is genius and amazing - can't stop playing. And gameplay is very unique and will not fit everyone, but if you like slow and adventure, exploration games its is made for you.

    To anyone actually reading this, I think this game is a 8.7/10 so far. I'm about 5 hours in and its exactly what I expected. A strange, melancholy, interesting and different game about the end of the world, hiking, delivering packages, and making connections. I think its great and I can't wait to dive into it more. The 10/10 is to counteract the insane 0/10 reviews people are farting out

    As an avid follower of Hideo Kojimas work, I was very intrigued by this game, and was thoroughly excited to play it, that was until a lot of the reviews that came out from a lot of what I thought to be reputable companies/names. All I can say is ignore any bad reviews you see or hear, they are total rubbish! This game is a complete masterpiece, and after 15 hours, I am in love with it! 10/10

It's slow paced, combat is limited, and the story is bizarre to say the least. Kojima, as we expect from him, uses a fresh approach to craft this unusual, but gripping, story.     Death stranding es un juego que nos invita a la reflexion. con paralelos que hacen referencia a nuestra propia realidad, death stranding. Desperpeja un mundo destruido pero lleno de belleza, y en este, tomando el rol de Sam debemos llevar encargos de un sitio al otro con el fin de reconectar una sociedad rota. Kojima sabe lo que hace, y y si eres una persona que no le gusta analizar oDeath stranding es un juego que nos invita a la reflexion. con paralelos que hacen referencia a nuestra propia realidad, death stranding. Desperpeja un mundo destruido pero lleno de belleza, y en este, tomando el rol de Sam debemos llevar encargos de un sitio al otro con el fin de reconectar una sociedad rota. Kojima sabe lo que hace, y y si eres una persona que no le gusta analizar o pensar demasiado, quizas este juego no genere nada en ti, pero por el contrario, si estas dispuesto a darle un chance, a analizarlo, y dejarte llevar por su esencia, encontraras que death stranding es muchisimo mas que un simple video juego. Si bien el cine es llamado el septimo arte, y es una conbinacion de todas las artes, me atreveria decir que kojima esta haciendo el octavo arte, pues esta haciendo cine y todas las demas practicas artisticas, en una sola experiencia interactiva y esto, es algo que no se ha visto.… Expand

    Play the game, it is amazing if you think of the facts that Kojima made it with a small staff, new engine, full 3D face modeling of real actor's, full cast of great talent, it pushes the PS4 Pro to the limits, and with 0 micro transactions. This is by far the best game this year compared to all the money grabs going around padding content to attack you're wallets like Konami, EA, Blizzard,Play the game, it is amazing if you think of the facts that Kojima made it with a small staff, new engine, full 3D face modeling of real actor's, full cast of great talent, it pushes the PS4 Pro to the limits, and with 0 micro transactions. This is by far the best game this year compared to all the money grabs going around padding content to attack you're wallets like Konami, EA, Blizzard, Epic, and Activision . Death Stranding is worth you're $60 more then any other game which is why I got the $200 collector edition to celebrate Kojima's first game on his own.… Expand

    There are video games and then there is Death Stranding. The blend of music, cinema, and adventure is absolutely stunning.

    If your favorite thing in RDR2 is walking around/riding your horse and just exploring the amazing world, then you should for sure play this game. If not then you should still experience the story, so I guess you could watch a playthrough.

    This game is truly amazing. People are going into it trying to compare it too other games. When Kojima said this was a brand new genre. It's a masterpiece that everyone should try... With an open mind.. For all the reviews giving it a 0. These are people who shouldn't be reviewing anything. You're saying that this game has nothing going for it. Even a barbie game could be a 1.. Game is gorgeous, possibly one of the beautifulist games of all time. so we will say 3 points. so 3 out of 10. Voice acting is great with really compelling characters. 4 our of 10. The story is unlike anything before, completely original and unique in so many ways 6 out of 10. I can see gameplay not being for everyone because of it's slow paced nature and you not going around killing people and shooting enemies. but even without that aspect the game does not deserve a 0.... c'mon people… Expand

    Хидео с самого начала говорил, что игра про веревку, а не про палку. Что экшна не будет, как такого. Но почти все, кто ставит низкие оценки хейтят игру именно за то, о чем и так предупреждали! Как это глупо. Эта игра философия и в ней глубокий смысл, но тем кто играет ради того, чтобы просто убивать все, что движется, этого не понять. Если Вы из тех кому колда и бф по душе, можете даже неХидео с самого начала говорил, что игра про веревку, а не про палку. Что экшна не будет, как такого. Но почти все, кто ставит низкие оценки хейтят игру именно за то, о чем и так предупреждали! Как это глупо.     People who rate this a 0 are ignorant that the whole point of this game is about connecting people and forming bonds. It’s a thematic game with its roots buried deep in that concept and it’s a shame that Kojimas intended message of togetherness is being dismissed by people who just want the same mainstream gameplay of pointing and shooting at things. It’s insulting.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
