    I'm in awe. This is everything I wished for, amazing adventure and incredibly fresh story. I finally got something fresh, completely new and different from gears of war and call of duty mindless shooter chewing gum kind of games. This year was amazing for single player games and this is a main title to crown them all. Must have title.

    Its a game for the lucky ones that will actually understand it. Lots of people are judging it basing just on prejudices. If you are capable and willing to try something that is more then a call of duty, give this masterpiece a try. You will not be disappointed. A true masterpiece.

    O game é maravilhoso, Hideo Kojima inovsndo em um meio com jogos tão saturados de anda e atira. O mundo de Death Stranding é intrigante e excepcionalmente foda!

    Ok, I understand why so many people hate on this game. Hell, after 10 hours I was getting discouraged and a little disappointed too. And I really didn't know what to make of it. But I kept playing, cause I knew there will be more to it. And today I finished it. And I can tell that you it was fcking worth it. It was. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so this has to be enough: I'mOk, I understand why so many people hate on this game. Hell, after 10 hours I was getting discouraged and a little disappointed too. And I really didn't know what to make of it. But I kept playing, cause I knew there will be more to it. And today I finished it. And I can tell that you it was fcking worth it. It was. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so this has to be enough: I'm giving this game 10. If I could give it more, I would. For me it's up there with Bioshock Infinite which I played like 30 times. I'm going back to DS right away, going to to Platinum :). This game is amazing.     This game is a view into the future, where everyone will be aisolated and the world business it's going to be around logistics, it's about the physical disconnecting society and a full dependency of internet, it's extremely deep, and a visual work of art. Masterpiece.

    I'll start with the plot! It is really original! In the world of post-apocalypse associated with the death stranding, etc., this is not original! Original development! Original protagonists! Stunningly executed cut scenes. But not everyone will like the gameplay. Only the prologue and introduction to the game will take you 10-20 hours. The game constantly throws up new mechanics and new difficulties. It's just fun to play !!! The 100% best game of 2019, and in my opinion one of the best games of all time!     DEATH STRANDING is not a game for everyone. You probably will complain that it is too slow, or there isn't much to do other than deliveries. You might even get irritated with the fact that you have to drink monster energy drinks to replenish stamina, and do not receive a single piece of drywall to put your fist through. You'll even cry foul when you slip off a cliff carrying 150lbs ofDEATH STRANDING is not a game for everyone. You probably will complain that it is too slow, or there isn't much to do other than deliveries. You might even get irritated with the fact that you have to drink monster energy drinks to replenish stamina, and do not receive a single piece of drywall to put your fist through. You'll even cry foul when you slip off a cliff carrying 150lbs of equipment on your back and lose it all to the evil water flowing throughout. Now that you understand you are not the center of the universe in DEATH STRANDING, let's move onto how you're the center of the universe in DEATH STRANDING. The game is more or less a third person adventure with item management and terrain navigation features. At first the game starts very slow, walking everywhere you deliver random things to holograms inside waystations and the like. The opening is cinematic heavy with an emphasis on getting you confused with terms and pseudoscience that wouldn't and couldn't make sense to the uninitiated. However, things become less confusing the deeper you go,assuming you can pay attention long enough to put plot points together. The navigation is difficult at times but may be trivialized by clever placement of tools like ropes and ladders and bridges. This is intentional as the game is really more a commentary on modern society as a whole rather than a conventional video game. The act of placing a ladder to scale a cliff to ease your journey is not only a statement, but also a strand of social commentary on what it means to be human. We use tools to not only convenience our lives,but the lives of others as well. The asynchronous multiplayer accomplishes this task well. The first time you see a ladder or bridge somewhere you had difficulty crossing before,brings a sense of togetherness in that we all attempt to accomplish similar goals. I Will not touch on more than this. If you wish to find out more, I suggest you buy DEATH STRANDING and discover for yourself what it means to be human.… Expand

And no, I'm not a Kojima fanboy (I even didn't like MGSV), I just have eyes and a mind, and I can compare this game to the rest of the **** copy-pasted games out there, enough to realise that this is innovation in pure state.     The most immersive game I have played since red dead 2. As a huge fan of survival simulation games the gameplay here was everything I could want it to be. People say I really like “dad games” maybe this is another one of those? The story kept me at the edge of my seat also. If you enjoy weighty games and more survival based games I can’t recommend enough.

    Отличный сюжет, куча игровых механик, очень крутые идеи с мультиплеером. Геймплей медитативный, но в трейлерах все было показано. По мне так игра года.

    beautifully crafted world, amazing experience, a masterpiece AAA quality indie game for me. definitely requires high IQ, you can see the player IQ difference in between hate comments and love comments.

    I don't understand people who say "waStE oF MonEy". You all knew that this game is a courier simulator and you are starting to hate this game for being a courier simulator. I know you haven't evolved yet, but be adequate, please.

Speaking from personal experience though, I think Death Stranding offers an unparalleled level of cinematic immersion. I'm not a Kojima fan - I've never played Metal Gear Solid (or any of his previousI understand why this game is so divisive. If you're sitting on the fence because of the mixed review this game has received, my recommendation would be that (if this option is available to you) you rent it first and if you like it as I do, then buy it.… Expand

    Best looking game I've seen. I like narrative driven game and, well, it's narrative driven alright. Fascinating, new concept and I must say, relaxing as well. True, not for everyone BUT everyone should try it at least once, like sky diving...erm..ok ..maybe not skydiving..

    Love this game! It has a slow beginning, but once it picks up your hooked! You need to give it about 10 hours and then you can see why it's so addictive, only thing I dislike is how fast enemies respawn.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
