    "Cute" story but the most boring game I ever played.
    Kojima, please, don't waste our time with frustrating backtracking.

    Hay un poco de videojuego en estas cinemáticas. Y cuando hay videojuego es un walker simulator, repetitivo , con la interfaz más horrible que he visto en años (peor que las de ubisoft), lo único rescatable es la música y los gráficos, aunque claro, tendrás que tener un pc muy bueno, o si no olvídate. Hay algunos que dicen que hay que tener el estilo de la old school, pero amigos, hasta laHay un poco de videojuego en estas cinemáticas. Y cuando hay videojuego es un walker simulator, repetitivo , con la interfaz más horrible que he visto en años (peor que las de ubisoft), lo único rescatable es la música y los gráficos, aunque claro, tendrás que tener un pc muy bueno, o si no olvídate. Hay algunos que dicen que hay que tener el estilo de la old school, pero amigos, hasta la demo de Silent Hill PT tiene más historia y consistencia que esta obra. O sea, es como un montón de ideas que por separadas pueden ser buenas, pero puestas en un mismo plato es muy confuso.
    Eso si, lo que se supone que es tu enemigo es muy interesante, y no digo que el tener que evitar y escoger el mejor camino sea tenso y entretenido, pero claro, el problema es que no sientes que avances, terminas una entrega, empiezas otra y llega un momento en que te preguntas ¿Para que hago esto? Parece que en vez de ser el protagonista o el héroe solo eres un repartidor más.
    Que por cierto, hablando del personaje, que poco carisma por favor, desaprovechado el actor, o sea no sé, me esperaba a alguien más carismático, y lo que me encuentro es un personaje en una depresión. A veces da pereza hasta escucharle. O sea no es un personaje que se te vaya a quedar grabado , podrías poner cualquier otra cara y sería lo mismo.
    Aunque más pesado son los constantes diálogos de los personajes por la radio, es a lo, cállate ya
    El fin, es juego es malo a rabiar, pero como lo hizo Hideo para muchos es una obra de arte, pero para mi es una basura. Y no, no soy hater de Hideo, Metal Gear Solid es una obra de arte, pero Death Stranding no, porque Death Stranding quiere abarcar e impresionar mucho, y si bien lo consigue en los primeros minutos, al rato te aburres ya sea porque no entiendes nada o porque te cansas de lo mismo.
    Por cierto, Hideo, si vas a poner 7000 cinemáticas seguidas, mejor ve al mundo del cine.    … Expand

    This game is a very very special adventure which will never be forgotten. Exploring the world and setting up short cuts and zip lines and stuff is so rewarding! The atmosphere is so strong you could cut it with a knive and everything with an epic soundtrack and graphics. Kojima showed once again what a genius he is.
    I get it, you may don´t like his    i rate things for what they WANT to be.

    I didn't know if this game would be for me, but I was absolutely hooked as soon as I started playing. It took me about 70 hours on the playthrough and I enjoyed every minute of it. I recommend playing offline, driving a truck, and building some highways. What an experience and a wildly unique story.

    The game is dragging. It is painfully slow and repetitive. I got tired and couldn’t continue anymore. I fail to understand critics who rated it so high but a game like Days Gone was rated low.

    No logro comprender aún como es que un juego que hace tantas cosas mal me terminó gustando tanto.

    El combate es insulso. Los jefes tienen como debilidad cualquier bala y son de tamaño de un edificio así que fallar un tiro es prácticamente imposible, para colmo Sam tiene la capacidad de lanzar granadas cuál medallista olímpico . Los personajes tienen la capacidad de soltar diálogos que    No logro comprender aún como es que un juego que hace tantas cosas mal me terminó gustando tanto.

    Los personajes tienen la capacidad de soltar diálogos que causan pena ajena y la historia ni siquiera es complicada, simplemente Kojima encuentra formas de darle mil vueltas al asunto.

    Sin embargo los mejores momentos del juego son cuando ignoras a los personajes, la historia tan rebuscada y el combate aburrido y te centras en intentar no irte de hocico por una cordillera mientras vas cargando con cuatro garrafones. El diseño del terreno es impresionante y llegar a un lugar se siente siempre como un desafío que es más interesante y divertido que cualquier otra actividad que el juego te pida hacer. Quizá el gameplay sea repetitivo pero es atrapante, sin embargo nunca podré saber si este juego realmente es bueno o es solo el nombre de Kojima el que levanta la experiencia

    Es un juego que definitivamente no podría recomendar, es cuestión de que el gameplay o la historia te llame la atención y decidas jugarlo o no, y si lo juegas hay que aguantar para no tirarlo, y aquellos que se queden enganchados lo recordarán por siempre    … Expand

    Metta meditation is a type of Buddhist meditation. In Pali — a language that's closely related to Sanskrit and spoken in northern India — “metta” means positive energy and kindness toward others. The practice is also known as loving-kindness meditation. basically, metta is the general love towards the world itself.
    and now, i do also believe kojima calling his genre of game a "strand-type game" was indeed very cheesy way for him to marketing his game since we can say this genre existed thanks to souls-like genre and my beloved, Dark souls series. but stil, calling it strand-type or souls-like game,
    both of these genres have something very special for the modern society. i have played many games in my life, and i have never seen a game execpt dark souls, DS and disco elysium does such thing. to implant a Mindset within the player. an idea, a way of thinking...
    death stranding, in my humble opinion, teaches you the metta meditation mindset.
    and i get it. you may not like the game. but if you have experienced loneliness, depression and isolation in your life, trust me. just try it. you may appreciate and get what i mean.
    this game is made for this audience.
    in this game, you are alone. but yet you are not.
    you are alone but in your path, people have passed it.
    you are alone but you give kindness to the world around you
    and also you get kindness from others in tough situations
    this is love.
    this is a meditation. you are all by yourself, just "walking", feeling each step you take, and on your way, you give help and you get help. this is life. this is love and kindness. and thats why its so special.
    death stranding is an underrated gem. and yeah, its not for everyone and i get it if you don't like it.

    This is one of the worst games I have ever played. The game looks nice, has good voice acting, has nice cutscenes and a somewhat interesting story, but the gameplay, the most important part of a video game is ABSOLUTE TRASH.

    I would expect something that break the fourth wall like a certain famous boss in MGS on PS1. I wont be disappointed. One of my best videogame experience of all time after more 20 years of gaming. Not only it did it but with the covid event it took a prophetic turn. This experience combined with real life event that matched in so many areas cannot be reproduced    An UFG from Hideo Kojima.

    Appart for that it's a new. Unique gameplay that need to be experienced. I can't say another because the experience itself shouldn't be spoiled. I bough the game without looking anything online. So the first hours were... what i did ? I was sort of returning playing solo games after take distance from it. So it was hard and all that menus and stuff were... disengaging. But. Like pretty much what's beautiful in life. It's not easy at first.
    That game represent that from top to bottom. A must play experience. A totally breakthrough journey for me that i continue to play trying finishing at 100%    … Expand

    Al principio es muy flojo, pero con paciencia al avanzar te va envolviendo, te sumerge con todo, sobre todo la música y te entrega una historia extremadamente buena y fantasiosa (además de fumada). Es mi juego favorito del mundo.

    Just make a movie already! I made it about 2 hours into this before I realized I've only actually been in control about 20mins. Between that and the disjointed, borderline homoerotic nature of the perception of the main character Sam, I realized this game just isn't for me. I'd rather see the name of the character artists at the beginning and end of each scene because they're the real MVP's. They did such an awesome job at recreating what these actors actually look like that it's stunning, which is why I score it 4 out of 10. This game is also incredibly derivative of the Tom Cruise film Oblivion. From basic aesthetic, to some of the plot and character design. Kojima shouldn't be so proud of stealing. The rest is Kojima fluff wrap in a Prime delivery sim.… Expand

    One of the best storys in video game industry, adding the amzing graphics, characters and soundtrack.
    Death Stranding is not a walking simulator but rather an amazing experince that every player have to try, disconecting by all the industry standard fps type.

    This game is amazing.
    From the start, the music completely immerses you in the game. Norman Reedus' acting is perfect and the scenario unpredictable. Those who stop on the gameplay aspect (which I find nice) really miss an experience. Good job Kojima

    Es una gran historia, muy buena narrativa que no quieres dejar de jugar, la jugabilidad es muy diferente a lo que Kojima nos tenía acostumbrados pero en el modo de acción nos recuerda a otros de sus juegos, muy recomendado

    Kojima is a genius! In the evening, after hard work, walk around the beautiful world, with incredible scenery and musical accompaniment - 100/10. Idea, graphics, plot 1000/10. You can continue like this, endless transportation does not let you get tired and bored, it was very interesting to win platinum. The game was completed on ps4 pro. that's all) Racha*

    The game is awesome. The plot is really way better than 95% of movies. Walking simulator? What about all the vehicles you get overtime. It is very widely complex, each attempt I learn something new. Hideo is the ultimate creator.

    I finished this game two years ago. I remember it as the best time ever. I dońt get the low ratings, this is one of the best games I have ever played, it has great humor, meaning, fantasy, science fiction… and it works. Yes, the gameplay is not like a FPS, who cares. I can play shooters for hours, or sim racing games, but Death Stranding is something else. Give it a try.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
