    Очень люблю творчество Кодзимы и с большим интересом ждал данную игру... и должен сказать что она превзошла все мои ожидания!
    Об игре можно рассказать многое, но в такое лучше поиграть самому. Видно, что игра была сделана с душой.
    Кодзима зря переживал что в игре игрокам будет скучно, от игры просто не оторваться. Дизайн игрового мира, музыка, озвучка персонажей, сам актерский состав -    Очень люблю творчество Кодзимы и с большим интересом ждал данную игру... и должен сказать что она превзошла все мои ожидания!

    Я совсем не понимаю критики других игроков, что данной игры, что той же Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Наверно это сейчас модно, только данные люди показывают себя полными дураками. Ну да ладно.

    I expected a lot from this game and I got even more. Dont judge this game based on gameplay you see, you have to TRY it yourself, trust me it is much better to play than to watch. It starts in post apocalyptic USA, and survivors live in a desolated communities. Your job is to brave harsh envoirment, make your way through enemies, and Beached Things (BTs), and connect people and deliverI expected a lot from this game and I got even more. Your job as a porter is maybe most important one in this USA. Story is great, graphics are best I seen so far (also it runs really good), music is astounding, and gameplay is really fun, it is a lot of walking, but it is GOOD walking and there is purpose in defeating hill or river. All the time you achieve small and big victories by defeating envoirment and making delieveris. Online component is really fun, you can help a lot of people and they can help you, and trust me it is better when you help them

    Para mim uma obra prima, Kojima conseguiu entregar o que prometeu, mas felizmente como é minha opinião pessoal, posso dar dez a essa bela obra prima, infelizmente o hater em cima do jogo vai ser alta e agora não podemos mais confiar nas notas por aqui porque o povo só da nota simplesmente para dar hater nas coisas!

The game is extremely detailed that you find someone new at every hour of the game and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.     Everyone who is saying kojima cant decide if he wants to make a movie or a game hasnt played a kojima game yet. I think there is a good balance. If the story is good like in this game i cant get enough of the cut-scenes and i dont know what people expected with this many real life actors. The gameplay is very good and gets better the more you play it.     Great story and perfect movie sequences in shlt gameplay. Game design is sadly bad (shooting ghost, repetitive package delivering, offline mod, ...). I wish story chapters were an only hour long.

    Even tho this game isn't perfect and the gameplay is more about taste (it's absolutely not classical for the industry) it's not deserve all negative 0/10 scores. I do understand about the hype, but I'll overcompensate all the negative from community with 10/10 even if my personal feelings more mixed and about 8/10.

    Give it a try, then judge.

Однако на данный момент я ещё в процессе, осталось где-то 1/3, по впечатлениям, и если говоритьОчень волновался, что не понравится, ровно как и с РДР2, но это такие игры, в которых действительно нужно самостоятельно окунуться, погрузиться в эту атмосферу, чудесную музыку, отличную историю и воспользоваться максимальным количеством механик, чтобы действительно оценить её по достоинству. Однако на данный момент я ещё в процессе, осталось где-то 1/3, по впечатлениям, и если говорить откровенно, я бы выставил 9, но зная, что в конце ждёт какой-то разъ*б, да и о ситуации с намеренным снижением её рейтинга, я просто не мог оставаться в стороне.     This is probably the worst video game I’ve personally ever played. Gameplay is not fun at any time and everything you do is delivering packages. The story makes NO sense at all and it keeps getting worse till the end.

    Should’ve maybe made a TV show out of it...

If Death Stranding was made by anyone else, it would not be the piece of art it is. Of course there are a few things in the game that are different from what we expected, but nothing that will interfereHaters gonna hate, but this game isn't for everyone anyway. Its a masterpiece. Traversal and deliveries are really part of the game. But there is so much more to it. Kojima is a genius. If Death Stranding was made by anyone else, it would not be the piece of art it is.     Very disappointed with this game, I was expecting something more than a glorified walking simulator. Graphics are great, but absolutely no sustainable gameplay. Walking across America just doesn’t cut it.

    It's quite a complicated feeling. The story concept is better than okay, but I watched EVA years before, so it isn't a fresh concept for me. As I'm not a walking simulator fan, the gameplay is quite basic and repetitive. The physics of this game is also awkward, that makes the enemy fights weird.

    It’s a journey, maybe a little bit boring, but created with genius. Hideo Kojima is a director and a creative chief able to put the player into a universe that surround, with beautiful locations, characters, atmosphere and a strong vision of the project.
    Of course is not metal gear solid.

    Played it now for a few days and it gets better and better the more you get in the story liking it very much.
    the most cool things i like is the part that you can build bridges roads and leave stuff around for others to help them,

    Con más de 30 horas solo puedo decir que este juego consigue que te enganches con el mero hecho de caminar. Está claro que no todo el mundo tendrá estas sensaciones pero te hace concentrarte en la consecuencia de dar un paso en falso, en relajarte con sus paisajes y disfrutar el camino. Desde mi punto de vista el punto más flojo (de momento) son la presencia de los EV, que aunque en unCon más de 30 horas solo puedo decir que este juego consigue que te enganches con el mero hecho de caminar. Está claro que no todo el mundo tendrá estas sensaciones pero te hace concentrarte en la consecuencia de dar un paso en falso, en relajarte con sus paisajes y disfrutar el camino.     In the meantime, all you idiots posting zeroes for DS need to stop review bombing this game. Stop and ask yourselves why it is so important for you to convince other people to have the same opinion as you. Don't you have better things to do?

    This is Kojima self-indulgence through and through.     All these interesting things are    This is Kojima self-indulgence through and through.     All these interesting things are happening in the world, its just that your not doing them. For example youll be sent on an emergency mission to help a waystation under attack, stupid me got my hopes up thinking Id be doing something other than delivering a package. Nope, it was just another fetch quest: delivering relief supplies. Another mission tells you there is a black sludge bubbling up from the ground in a city, a huge phenomenon crisis you must avert. Once again, that equates to: delivering a special package to the terminal at that city. Every single quest is a fetch quest, no exaggeration, literally every one.

    And when you hear about the "cities" in Death Stranding, dont get your hopes up. I imagined these post apocalyptic rag-tag places with survivors milling about. Nope, its just an identical building (all distro centers and waystations are the same exact building model) that you cant even enter. You just approach a terminal and talk to a single person on a hologram when you deliver cargo. Thats it.

    Compounding the already repetitive and dull as rusted iron quest design is the frustrating traversal of the games massive world. The entire map is nothing but rocky, hilly, craggy and treacherous terrain. There are vehicles but they are useless because youll get your motorcycle stuck on a rock within 30 seconds. The truck is a joke, imagine trying to drive a truck through the grand canyon crevasse, thats Death Stranding trucks: useless. This means delivering packages, since thats all you do, will usually be done on foot.

    But Kojima couldnt just let us walk normally, no thats too easy. There is an asinine "balance" system. Since deliveries will pile on dozens of kilograms of cargo onto your back, Sam the protagonist will constantly be teetering left and right, losing balance. You must CONSTANTLY hold the RT when he sways left, then the LT when he sways right. Every 4 seconds you lose balance and you must hold a button to brace, which slows down your pace considerably. Half the time you end up face planting anyway, rolling down a hill, careening off a cliff. Ive fallen hundreds of times due to the finnicky balance system, and its never fun.

    Combat is a chore. Your forced into a certain playstyle: non-lethal with human "MULES." And guess what? INFINITELY RESPAWING! So if you clear a MULE encampment, which are oh so infuriatingly placed directly between most major "cities", by the next time you pass through theyll all be back to harass you. There are no rewards for combat, no XP or loot, and you cant kill them so youll be forced to just ignore them and walk or drive past. But no, thats too easy! Instead, lets give them shock spears that disable your vehicle and throw you out of it when its driving 40mph so you can tumble in the dirt for a few seconds. Lets give them guns that grab the cargo off your back and fling it 300 feet away so you have to walk aaaaaaall the way over to it to pick it back up. Lets give them stun weapons so when they attack you, it just knocks you out and they steal all your cargo. Its nothing but a nuisance.

    BTs, or basically alien mini bosses are even worse. Certain areas you MUST pass through for the fetch quests ALWAYS have BTs. This means every god damn time you cross a certain part of the map, your forced to do another identical BT boss battle. They are no challenge, and are yet another infinitely respawning nuisance that cant be killed, and will harass you every damn time.

    This is my least favorite game of the year. I cant stand Death Stranding. Its wore down my patience completely, and Im still pissed that Kojima thought doing nothing but fetch quests was ok in 2019. Come on, this was supposed to be something special.    … Expand

It takes you on a spectacular journey where you, as Sam "Porter" Bridges strive to connect America again.

    Death Standing is not a game like anything else really, the pacing is methodical, the story is deep and rich in nuance and the gameplay loop is steady but rewarding. If you came to Death Stranding looking for yet another example of a modern open world game with lots of shooting you are sure to get disappointed quickly. In this game you plan your routes, take careful steps everywhere you go and above all else - strive to be the best courier the world has ever seen. What that fully entails however is for the player to experiment and explore for themselves.

    Death Stranding will NOT be for everyone, of this I'm very certain. Its core mechanics are complicated, intricate and takes both time and effort to learn and enjoy. Once you do find your own stride in this vast world you will begin to feel the weight on your shoulders and what it is to fight mother nature itself. The game throws you everywhere, literally. You've stacked your stash-tower too high because you got greedy and wanted to take several missions in one go? Well, you just fell face forward down the hill and managed to drop all your loot into the nearby lake... Oh, you think you could just run past the BT's and not care much about slowing down and finding the best way out? Boom, you just got grabbed by goo:ey monsters and now you're in a fight or flight situation for your life. Death Stranding in its essence feels like something new, something fresh and very much alive. The incredible "strand system" where others people's items and equipment travels into your wold and connect other people's progress into yours and vice versa feels absolutely amazing. Several times have I seen someone start to build a big monumental bridge so that I can help out with materials to build it up fully. Hours later you come by the same bridge and now that everyone's been chipping in with raw materials to help build it, a full community of players seem to have been using it frequently to have a safe-way path over the treacherous river.

    To end my review I just want to say that Death Stranding may be one of the strangest video game experiences of my grown up life. I will most likely not play anything like this ever again and this makes me sad knowing. The game industry, especially in the AAA-department has been feeling rather stale for years! The same ideas thrown around with the occasional golden gem getting chipped. A game like this could only be made by an incredible talent and it's very clear to me why so many industry icons feel that Kojima is on another level.

    At the end of the day games are meant to be enjoyed - For me, Death Stranding has throughout my 30+ hours been an incredible. fascinating and almost cathartic experience. I absolutely love and adore it. 10/10!    … Expand

    However, while the trailers that fueled us for years were strange, delectable pieces of some perfect game that doesn't exist, the actual game... Death Stranding... is surprisingly a quiet, nuanced work that is as tantalizing as it is engaging (for those who aren't complaining about just simply "walking").

    Speaking of walking, the game's primary mechanics are intriguingly complex in a way that feels incredibly simple. Walking IS walking in this game, but there's so many factors that drive the way Sam walks in this game, like [A. I have too much cargo and Sam is climbing a hill and my stamina is low, so Sam is going at a snail's pace] or [B. I've equipped the exo-legs and have little cargo so I'm **** Mario double-jumping all over the place].

    Like many have said, the game can get frustrating as hell, but most of the time I'm realizing I'm mad at myself for not bringing a ladder or crossing a river without checking for the density levels. Succeeding in the game takes work, and it's the kind of hours that I'm willing to put into (sorry Dark Souls). I feel great in making it to a delivery (that didn't go horribly, horribly wrong), or when I built my first bridge.

    A lot of people don't like the story elements, but so far (I'm halfway through) I'm loving the story. Fragile is a badass character and the more I learn about her the more I enjoy the cut scenes with her. BB is just so **** cute. The scenes with Cliff are nice and help build for what seems to be coming later. Honorable mentions are Deadman and Mama (so far).

    If you're on the fence... just play the game, see for yourself. If you're a MGS fan... play the game. Ignore those who are saying it "isn't like MGS at all". No **** it's a completely different game. All in all, I give it a 9 because it's a **** solid game, one of the best I've played in years. It has a few drawbacks, but ultimately if you're willing to get past the beginning (which I didn't feel all that boring... just some repetitive cut scenes), and feel invigorated by the gameplay mechanics, or just trying something "new", you'll love this game.    … Expand

    First things first, Death Stranding is NOT for everybody. After 50 plus hours over the weekend - I have found that It is an experience like no other. If you can step back and understand the concepts and technicalities of what Kojima and his team were trying to achieve then you will grow to appreciate it. Yes the story is beyond bananas and Yes sometimes the is an overwhelming amount ofFirst things first, Death Stranding is NOT for everybody. I for one am amazed again with Kojima and his limitless creativity. Bagi aku yang follow game Hodeo Kojima sejak MGS ni pergerakan karektor die memang aku suka. Pada mula main memang rasa pelik sebab die adalah seorang DESPATCH sahaja. Selama aku main ni tak pernah terpikir nak main seorang watak despatch moden dalam Death Stranding ni. Orang yang main game ni kene sabar / byk ulangan activiti (korang kene hanta parcel je keje korang. Untuk yang suke action memanjang / suke menembak2 / nak cepat habis game ni bukan untuk korang.

    Game ni melibatkan strategi untuk hantar parcel tanpa melalui BTs (dlm game ni BTs tu hantu) tanpa melalui porter yang jahat (suke rompak barang). Die juga adalah game kerjasama diantara gamers2 online. Permarkahan adalah berdasarkan kepada 'LIKE' yg korang dapat bile buat aktiviti. yer 'LIKE' first time aku jumpa game guna LIKE sebagai token. Ko hanta ko dapat like dari owner. Rating ko akan naik n ko akan develop skill dari situ.

    Складывается ощущение что низкие оценки, за скучный геймплей, ставят люди не прошедшие дальше 1 главы. Можно сказать что первые 10 часов а то и больше игры - это только обучение. Все проработано настолько детально, что порой офигеваешь от всего. Течение рек, ветер, перемещение по горам, а усталость героя это что то с чем то, я вчера 30 минут искал где перейти реку, так как герой былСкладывается ощущение что низкие оценки, за скучный геймплей, ставят люди не прошедшие дальше 1 главы. Можно сказать что первые 10 часов а то и больше игры - это только обучение. Все проработано настолько детально, что порой офигеваешь от всего.     I wasn't a fan of Kojima's previous games, but something drew me towards this one. With Death Stranding, you get more of an interesting and somewhat drawn out story, which is facilitated by playing a game. The main gameplay is surprisingly good, sometimes fun, always challenging and very repetitive. Yet it never gets old and I am not 100% sure why, as at its heart, it is a walkingI wasn't a fan of Kojima's previous games, but something drew me towards this one. With Death Stranding, you get more of an interesting and somewhat drawn out story, which is facilitated by playing a game. The main gameplay is surprisingly good, sometimes fun, always challenging and very repetitive. Yet it never gets old and I am not 100% sure why, as at its heart, it is a walking simulator (and the only walking simulator that accurately emulates it perfectly) combined with some unique and innovation game mechanics. It's almost like playing a racing car game and doing 2000 laps around the same track for 40-60 hours. You do the same things for the entire game, but little small nuances make it seem fresh with each mission.

    This is definitely a very unique experience, and those looking for a fast paced game may find it a struggle to keep engaged. It kept me engaged due to the atmosphere of the world, the great selection of music, the uncertainty of what exactly is going on and the unique feel of the game. There is nothing like this and in the current climate of games, where the same crap is recycled over and over again, this stands out as a truly innovative game.

    There are times I was frustrated with the game, some missions require you to walk for 50 mins only to drop off the delivery and be asked to go right back to where you came from and come back here with another delivery. This for me hurt the game already slow pacing and made it frustrating as it was delaying the progress of the game and really felt like pointless padding. Another issue is you can't skip cut scenes, Having to watch the same machine process a package over 100 times gets old after about the third time and some of the cut scenes run close to 1 hour. There is close to 10 hours of story specific cut scenes, which for me was about 5 hours too much. The stretching out of conversations adds nothing to the experience and creates a disconnect as people don't talk like this. There is bad stuff happening and spreading fast, but lest just you as many sentences as we can, to just some so very simple things.

    I didn't find the story mysterious at all, interesting yes, but I picked up on two things very early in the game which turned out to be true. Maybe I was just able, somehow, to see through the over elaborate drawn out story telling methods used, which were meant to hide things but it all seemed pretty obvious to me.

    The sum of all the parts that make Death Stranding are very good. It's by no means a 10/10. The map system should be more usable and have a better zoom feature, the UI at times is not user friendly especially in combat situations and an editor was needed to cut down the over indulgent cue scenes and tell Kojima when enough was well and truly enough. I wouldn't recommend this game to everyone, especially people that only enjoy fast paced action games, but they would be missing out on something that is a bit special, very unique and innovative. I have no doubt it will become a masterpiece in time while possibly becoming one of the most studied games ever, and will most likely win 2019's game of the year.    … Expand

When you a start off playing the game you learn by what other people did either they put a ladder to help you climb or they left you a ladder so you can set it up the way you want. The game allows you to play exactly how you want to play and it has the best 4K graphics out of all ps4 exclusives or any game that’s been released, it’s stunning. AsIncredible game! The story is very well told and keeps you engaged, the gameplay is good, the visuals are the best of the best, it’s a survival game played anyway you want, side missions are extremely rewarding, and helping the UCA build the UNITED CITIES OF AMERICA great again is amazing. Your building roads, bridges, vehicles, and so much more to get to areas quicker. After playing this game for at least 15 hours now I am hooked and death stranding most likely will win game of the year!… Expand

If you have ever tried to eek meaning from the hours wasted playing video games, then this game is your testifier. It is your crucible and it is your salvation. Again, this is the highest of art. From story to fidelity, to perfectly placed idiosyncrasy, it's an impeccable swaft to canvas, in realization closest to singularity any artist has achieved. Call it pompous. Call it too much. Or rather, just be confused, and allow that to ply ignorance. But this is what you've been waiting to experience. Like it or not. Grind it or rave in ecstasy. This is the bar. Gamers need to take the voyage. And it is completely relevant, encompassing a surreal story underpinning the philosophical war and moralistic aftermath which have crumbled an American empire, before it, itself, has realized. But that same sort of role-avoidance aside, politics is not its aim or foci. That is just another small piece of the greater tapestry, one in design of the most mind-bending proportions. This is high-art, gamified, and to a rather stupefying degree. Save the inclusion of more cumbersome yet dead-space like combat (not the dismemberment but the non-combatant thrust into combat kind of feel), this game is eye-crossing, twitch-inducing, amazement. All and every slight of combat unto survival and vocational ability, works tremendously to imbibe tone. Combat, even, does grow and develop within throughout it's arc, making for heroic flourishes of excitement and much waited retribution. In a very strong way, it is homage by Kojima-kun, to Botw player vs environment motif and xbcx's post-modern apocalyptic meta-sentience, double annihilation plot line. Simply, it is opus. The player and environment are inextricably at odds and woven into feedback loop, seamlessly, organic and exhilarating. Stop being insecure, or intimidated and thrust yourself at the challenge. Be wowed, and woahed, and take in the orgasmic discombobulation of your soul. There is really only one impression of this game, and that is, "awe." As, well, ign, you have lost all credibility, of which, you should have been allowed none, for a long, long while. Thank you Kojima. And in simplest terms, humbly, I say, "good job, real good job." I think there will be a sample bias to the earlier reviews because there's a very high concentration of gamers who did not play pass chapter 2, which is a relatively slow-paced chapter. After that, there's an huge expansion to what you can do, and simple things become less of a grind. (to be clear, I didn't hate the experience in Chapter 2, I thought it was alrightI would give it a 8.5. I think there will be a sample bias to the earlier reviews because there's a very high concentration of gamers who did not play pass chapter 2, which is a relatively slow-paced chapter. After that, there's an huge expansion to what you can do, and simple things become less of a grind. (to be clear, I didn't hate the experience in Chapter 2, I thought it was alright but is objectively a bit slower than the later chapters.)

    If one breaks done the game by components, then yes, objectively the act of delivering & building things slowly is not as action-filled or super fun compared to, say, MGSV, but as a whole I find it quite captivating. Everyday I wake up wanting to play more of it.

    Two minor things that I think could be improved:
    1. Short cut animations (e.g. mail delivery, drink beverage, shower) require a bit more clicks than necessary to skip. Sometimes they made it so that you have to skip 2-3 short animations for one action. I wish it would be more streamlined

    2. stealth options could be a bit better. I get it, creating a diversified combat system would distract from the main gist of the game. But still, I wish there could be 2-3 more options to take down mules out of stealth, and a slightly smoother action sequence would be nice.    … Expand

    Don’t listen to the negative reviews. This is a stellar game that easily sucks you in piece by piece. From the beautiful visuals, to the incredible sound track, to the all star cast...this game has it all in spades. Yes it requires some patience but it’s so worthwhile to keep at it as you’ll be rewarded. People want instant gratification these days but this game is different and that’sDon’t listen to the negative reviews. This is a stellar game that easily sucks you in piece by piece. From the beautiful visuals, to the incredible sound track, to the all star cast...this game has it all in spades. Yes it requires some patience but it’s so worthwhile to keep at it as you’ll be rewarded. People want instant gratification these days but this game is different and that’s just fine.     Недостатки. Приходится крафтить оружие и таскать ящики с оружиями, почему то не сделали возможность крафтить боеприпасы к винтовкам.
    Анимация, их много, надоедает. Нокаутирование, убийства, сбор, обнаружение тварей с анимацией в слоу. Я бы отключил это. Слишком много кат сцен. Пользование услугами фреджайл, подъем/спуск в убежище, утилизация, то как кладёт груз в грузовик.

    Я бы поставил 9/10, но поставлю 10, просто из-за того что несправедливо занизили рейтинг игры.    … Expand

    if you are the most boring person on earth, death stranding might be a boring game to you. if you have a creative bone in your body, you recognize it for what it is: an excellent sandbox game that wants you to take your time with it. Protip: try doing something other than a storyline quest.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
