    I can only fell sorry for Kojima. He made one of the best games ever. Those fools that gave it a low grade couldn't understand one bit cause they are used to Battlefield or CoD filled with fights and deaths or maybe they are just haters.
    This game is relaxing, has mistery and most important: a great story. A really new and unique experience.

    I feel that it is a spectacular game although the start is slow soon after you start to appreciate the landscapes and have fun to be able to explore the map at the moment of distributing something I feel that it is one of the games that I liked most of this year 2019

    A lot of these people seem to have no idea what makes this game special. This game is less about the actual gameplay and more about the story and the way you impact it, I for myself found the game to be quite fun, yes it can get repetitive and it would definitely take a while for me to play through it a second time. Also I wouldn't be motivated to do the side quests because in the end,A lot of these people seem to have no idea what makes this game special. Also I wouldn't be motivated to do the side quests because in the end, yes, you are mostly delivering stuff, but walking around the world with BTs and MULEs at every corner, connecting with people all over the world as well as with the characters in the game is really a special experience and I would recommend everyone to try this game, it might not be for everyone, but there is deeper meaning behind everything in the game and the fact that Kojima and his team put so much thought and love into this game should be appreciated. It's definitely a GOTY candidate for me. If you can't handle a good story or unique gameplay and expected something that isn't down to earth and Kojima-style game then you haven't paid attention. It really starts getting more intense the more you get on with it and the once rather annoying game mechanics get eased a lot by a lot of gadgets you obtain during the story. If you take a look at these negative reviews, most of them seem to have no idea what this game is all about, don't listen to them, if you think this game looks intriguing try it out, I found the first few hours a bit slow but I got hooked right after and played 4-5 days straight until I got to the end. Think about what Kojima wanted to tell us with these parallels to our own fractured society and the metaphors within the game and you might find yourself enjoying the game as much as I did… Expand

    Después de días de jugarlo solo tengo que decir que fue gratificante, al ver los gameplays debo decir que no me llamaba la atención pero al jugarlo me di cuenta de lo equivocado que estaba. Es diferente y un respiro a los mismos juegos de siempre con diferente titulo.

    How much money did all those critics got payed ? How many bots did they use for lifting the user score ? Disgusting use of Metacritic just for lies. Is the game a beautiful masterpiece ? Yes. But Is also the most boring one you will ever play.

If HK wants to make movies he really should and stop forcing his B movie crap into games with terrible mechanics.     This game is awesome. The graphics are beautiful. The story is engaging and very interesting with a fascinating message. Lastly, the gameplay is fun and challenging (especially on hard). Five minutes playing this game and you will realize how much was put into it and how expansive it is, Five hours and you will be blown away.     Many (but certainly not all) of the people giving negative reviews seem to be hating hardcore on Kojima rather than the the game itself. Many obviously haven't played more than a few hours (or at all :/), and as such, are probably not the best people to listen to.

    I can understand how one might be disappointed if they were expecting a Metal Gear Solid clone, which I think is why many people are disliking it. They were expecting another MGS like game, while in reality, DS is much much more. It is a different game entirely, and they shouldn't be "hating" just because they failed to realize this.

    tl;dr; This game has changed what a game can be for me. Play it for yourself to find out why.    … Expand

    One of the best playstation game that I ever played. Beautiful graphics, complex mechanics and epic story. But that´s a catch. Buy this game ONLY if you want to run away from FPS likes, MOBA and etc. It´s a excellent survival kind of game.

This story is a mess, most people don't want to slog through 20+ hours of bad story to get to decent game-play, and more bad story. The story leaves things unexplained to the point of obscurity, and it makes the game not enjoyable for normal people who don't have some sort of paid critic agenda.

    This game is damn near impossible to spoil though, so at least there is that! Timefall, baby batteries, the last ever FedEx worker in the apocalypse, and all the Monster energy drinks in the world do not a story make if it's just stuff in a video game. The Monster energy drink promos are almost as bad as the advertisements in the emoji movie; are we supposed to believe Monster is the only drink to survive the apocalypse? Monster is in this game so much I thought one of the cans might get up and talk to the player at some point and become a character.

    We need to "rebuild America" in this game because the afterlife is seeping through to our world somehow (how?), and there is rain that ages things. WTF is this story, seriously? It's so convoluted that even the characters in the game are still trying to figure it out, which isn't clever; it's infuriating.    … Expand

    Maravilloso juego, no es para todo tipo de público ya que se trata de un género en invención muchos lo pueden encontrar aburrido ya que no hay disparos ni acción, en lo personal me encantó, los paisajes, la música, la historia, las mecánicas y demás son fascinantes, se sale de la monotonía.

    This game is too good to be true. After beating this game I feel like my life have a new meaning. Ioved Metal Gear Solid series, but Death Stranding is something else entirely. Now I have a new vision about games. Kojima is a God in game industry.

Sure some ideas/mechanics may be similar to Metal Gear, but it's an artful, unique game that has all the deep and amazing parts of a videogame,movie, story, and Nature.     I don't receive this as a successor or an evolution of Metal Gear whatsover. Sure some ideas/mechanics may be similar to Metal Gear, but it's an artful, unique game that has all the deep and amazing parts of a videogame,movie, story, and Nature. I didn't do much research, but just saw people's horrible reviews and gameplay videos, but I decided to give it a shot.

    When I first started playing, I was blown away by the immersive soundtrack and rain (I also play with 7.4.4 surround sound system on OLED which may have made this experience so amazing). It was relaxing, intriguing, stylish, and trance-like. Full of art with Planet-Earth like visuals.

    Then, when I moved, I thought it was so creative in how the terrain correlated with my fatigure/energy in what I was carrying and such. Having been through a nasty nasty divorce, this game has been somewhat therapeutic and reflective. It's like a peaceful dreamworld, but the peace is intermittently threatened.
    I can go on and on, BUT....if you appreciated the movie MARTIAN, enjoy nature, and innovative gameplay with SCI-Fi elements, this is a game for you.

    This Game is Gorgeous , Beautiful and very unique..
    Gameplay is Fluid and the Graphic is awesome. The Story ist really good and very interesting. Most important for me is the Social aspect in this Game(Likes and shared buildings an much More).     Long story short: it's an absolute masterpiece. Daring, different from everything else, this game is a blend of graphics, game play and direction that will stand out for a long time in the industry. I can't help but feel like I'm playing a next gen game.

    Same goes for the BTs, once you get the hang of how your tracker works, you can blast through any zones without caring too much.

    All in all, the walking/stumbling delivery system could've been a great system as a PART of a game but not enough to make it a whole game by itself.

    After 5-6 hours you pretty much just end up dashing all over the place in a bored manner and you realise that is all that it's going to be    … Expand

Reconnection does not only involve the game that requires you to reconnect shelters but also reconnects you with other players who are building around you, leaving you with vehicles that will help you during your journey. The mechanics are well thought out and become deeper as the game progresses. The fighting becomes more intense as you progress through the game. Package and delivery management is getting ready and requires you to take the time to prepare your equipment (rope, ladder). Do I have enough to build a bridge? can I put a zip line point? the game makes you want to deliver and build for others and I appreciate the intelligence of game design. So yes there is some concern (some graphics a little dated but still qualitative, some collision problems on the mountain climbs) and the first hours of the game are not the most fun but once you take the time to get carried away by this game you discover a real message and a lot of heart.… Expand

    This Game is a Masterpiece and a must Play. It's a work of art. The Graphics and the soundtrack is amazing. And same for the story 30 minutes in game and you are completely invested in the story.

    Arguably one of the worst games I've not only played this year but of all time, slow tedious the game was everything but fun.
    I want videogames.to be videogames not what Kojima is trying to do with them, trying to infuse movies into games is not only a bad idea, but appreciating someone like Kojima for this sets a new precedent for awful games to come.

Może potrzeba dać więcej czasu, ale jak narazie Wogole Nie wciąga :( chciałbym żeby Gra była dla Mnie odskocznią, Może historia Gry jest z Przekazem zapewne Mega konkretnym, Ale co tu się dzieje chodzenie po Górach jest strasznie Nudne, dostarczanie paczek Nuda!.

    Technically the game delivers what the industry can't deliver (evolution).
    The game has a plot worthy of an oscar, but for me kojima was unhappy in choosing an open world game if it had been linear and more objective, with the dead appearing more often to try to take the protagonist to another dimension (Something simpler as playdead's INSIDE) the game would surely be better.

    This is an amazing game, but it is not for everyone, many, especially superficial players will not understand, but still it is brilliant! So much new gaming experience in the modern gaming industry was not long ago!

    This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
