    Call me basic. A compelling story with moving music, countless optional dialogues enhancing character development, and an emphasis on marksmanship and resource management. I loved it and look forward to a sequel.

    I waited about a year after its release before i bought this on sale. But i wish i bought it at full price just to support developers. This was just an amazing game, high above my expectations. I did not experience any bugs what so ever. One of the best games I played in 2020.

    Where other games crashes, here it makes quite a improvent. And such quite a great improvent, I must say! The graphics, while great, lacks of some little details on the landscape and some plot important things. Even son, the music is great, filling the player with emotion, going through rage, happiness and sadness, all in one game. The only thing a little bit buggying is the gameplay: has a little bit of bugs and glitches, adding it up to a rough and hard-slow movement from the character we play. But, it's part of being the most realistic thing possible. I mean, if you were in a world with so much bands, chaos and zombies of all kind, you wouldn't be a sprinter or an experienced shooter, right? Well, here, the main character has shooting skills, yeah, but it is as slow and difficult to move around, just like Joel did in the first The Last of Us, for example. But even then, that adds a realistic point of view for the character development and gameplay, which makes this game even better.
    If you are not into survival horror games with just one narrative and scenery, going lineal, this is a kind of game for you: open world, survival horror and adventure, full with a great scenario, well-developed graphics and story and while it has a few glitches, they are so low, that you wouldn't even notice them.    … Expand

    Ещё не успел пройти игру, но хочу сказать что атмосфера этой забирает тебя полностью. Механика заставляет рассуждать логикой продуманной внутри мира Days Gone. Очень красивый, интуитивный и удобный UI/UX
    Я бы изменил экран загрузки и сделал бы более плавный переход между кат сценами, но это мелочи по сравнению с тем, что в игре сделано отлично. Игра очень длинная и сытная. Думаю что когда    Ещё не успел пройти игру, но хочу сказать что атмосфера этой забирает тебя полностью. Механика заставляет рассуждать логикой продуманной внутри мира Days Gone.     This game has about million times better characters and writing than last of us 2 could even dream of. It's not Red Dead Redemption 2 level, but for example, i found writing in this game better than in Alan Wake and i like Alan Wake btw. Characters are very much relatable, likable and realistic, unlike characters in last of us 2.

    3. This has done 100 times before / another zombie game - False.
    Days Gone is best open-world zombie game. There have been only few decent attempts for open-world zombie game before and most of them are just meh. Days Gone does it better than any previous try. So i want to ask, how has it been done 100 times before? In what universe? I bet people who say that it has been done 100 times before would have hard time to even name 100 video games, let alone 100 zombie games.    … Expand

That city area is really cool, well designed. Then there's some cool things you can discover, but i can't say what, because it would be spoilers obviously.

    Like i just don't understand some negativity toward this game. It just doesn't make sense. Voice acting is really good, writing is solid, to my surprise it's actually really natural, not cringe or forced like some other recent games.

    Days gone might be a bit repetitive, a bit lacking in depth. However, it is one of the beat games I have played ever. It has great storyline, an open world that was designed in a way where you want to keep coming back to places you have already been to. This is the first ever 'open world' game I really enjoyed and kept playing even after the main story was completed. The devoper team hasDays gone might be a bit repetitive, a bit lacking in depth. The starry skies blew my mindaway when I first saw it. And...I am not music guru but this game has arguable the best ever music throughout the entire game. It was not just songs and tracks added on repeat. I felt music was an inseparable part of the game invoking feelings not only during the key moments of the storyline but also adding the the game unique atmosphere. The actors play and voiceovers are masterfully done as well. Solid 9/10 from me. It feels all the downsides can hardly blemish the incredible experience this game offers.… Expand

    So surprised to see some of the low ratings this game has! It is epic and on point in almost every single way. Story Line is awesome, you feel a connection to the main and some side characters and the general game play is amazing. Really hope they make a sequel

Сюжет отличный, это атмосферное выживание с зомби, где вы как байкер, в прошлом, катаетесь на байке от сюжетной точки до другой сюжетной точки , постоянно заглядывая в лагеря выживших, попутно занимаясь крафтом различных аптечек, сывороток и метательных предметов. Оружие продаётся в лагерях, там же можно продать уши с убитых вами зомби (фриков) и с других заражённых существ, а также можно продавать кожу животных. В Игре игре присутствует система прокачки способностей, тоесть различные бонусы в игре: способность носить с собой больше предметов для крафта, метательного оружия, а также болтов, нужных для починки вашего байка и для создания других предметов;
    способность получать больше тушек с убитых животных.
    Сначала вы боитесь убивать зомби (фриков), но подбираясь всё ближе и ближе к концу игры вы чувствуете себя настоящим богом в мире полном ходящих трупов и больших ходящих трупов (громил). Также в игре присутствует множество заражённых животных, а именно: крикуны (заражённые вороны), клыкачи (заражённые волки) и шатуны (заражённые медведи, одни из самых сильных заражённых животных, превосходящих свою не заражённую версию, на уровне громил, если не выше).
    Самая страшная вещь для новичков или даже для тех кто почти прошёл игру - это орда (фриков). У того кто скоро пройдет игру (я к тому моменту как появилась эта миссия, за два дня прошёл игру, так что для меня это миссия была очень близко к концу игры) появилась орда по сюжету, которую нельзя пропустить, а боялся он орд, потому что до этого он вообще не приближался к этим ордам и боялся их также как в начале игры (так было со мной, как вы понимаете). Но постепенно, оттачивая навык, я убил все орды на карте(после прохождения игры они показываются).
    Эта игра замечательна, ведь даже когда я её прошел я продолжал играть и получал огромное удовольствие от получения ачивок в игре, которые после прохождения получить гораздо легче.
    Я советую всем пройти эту игру (я прошёл её на средней сложности),
    ведь эта игра подарит вам незабываемые впечатления и эмоции, во время прохождения, хоть она и большая, пройдёте вы её быстро (ну это по сравнению с другими играми)! Желаю всем познать это удовольствие, всем хорошего настроения и с новым годом (у меня сейчас новый год).
    P.s. Буду проходить игру на "новой игре +", на сложности выживание 2 (самой сложной), пожелайте мне удачи ;))    … Expand

    İt is a masterpiece except gun fights and the brainless enemies. İt is really fun and the story is really well. Deacon is charismatic and he is a great character. I have played God of war, Spiderman, uncharted, ghost of tsushima but this is the most enjoyfull of all.

    This game was amazing. A really great and emotional story. These assessments are unfair, I can understand personal tastes, but in this way the game is killed. I think this franchise still has a lot to offer. Moreover, the game ends with the base to create a sequel. I hope Sony changes its mind about the future of the series

    It's the first time I've completed a game without getting bored for even a minute, and I was sad when it was over.

    Awesome game! I can tell sony rushed this dev team and it makes itself known with some bugs here and there. It ends up giving a fun awesome, probably the best zombie game ever made a bad name. It's on sony for rushing a diamond being made. 71 lol Meta get with the program looks like you need better Critics.

Great story, amazing characters, especially Deacon, great voice acting, gorgeous open world and a bad-ass motorcycle. What more can you ask for. Oh, did I mention the Hordes! Oh man! The feeling of being chased by 500 freakers,... what a RUSH! Mowing down zombies with a wide variety of weapons,FANTASTIC! Days Gone if truly an experience like no other. I have never had this much fun. Great story, amazing characters, especially Deacon, great voice acting, gorgeous open world and a bad-ass motorcycle. What more can you ask for.     Great game, some bugs as expected but wonderful. Great environment and amazing story. Scary at times but still manages to grip me to the chair, some times up to 5hts. One of the best zombie game i´ve played, still behind on The Last of Us tho, close but not there yet.

    I've been waiting for a Walking Dead style game for ages, and Days Gone delivers, with the added fun of noisy bikes. Atmospheric world, tense emergent gameplay, stealth and guns blazing both work well. Bit glitchy, nothing revolutionary, but really good fun. A solid, entertaining game.

    I don't understand some of the critics reviews. They complain about poor performance, boring story and repetitiveness of the game.

    In my 20 hrs of playing so far I haven't encountered any bugs, neither the performance issues. I am playing on PS4 Pro and there was one data streaming freeze for about 4 seconds when approaching the 1st camp with bike at high speed. So the game was loading    I don't understand some of the critics reviews. They complain about poor performance, boring story and repetitiveness of the game.

    In my 20 hrs of playing so far I haven't encountered any bugs, neither the performance issues. I am playing on PS4 Pro and there was one data streaming freeze for about 4 seconds when approaching the 1st camp with bike at high speed. So the game was loading in assets. Happens with a lot of games. The story is interesting, it is not as good as Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Last of Us, but it does have value. World is impressive and fun to explore, zombies are terrifying to encounter. AI is not as dumb as some of the reviews say, I think it is a perfect line between realistic and fun.

    In general this game may not feel super authentic, because it is not. It feels like it is borrowing the best parts from other games in the market. I think they combined Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us into one game and it works great. It is not magical game, but what they achieved here is a really decent game.

    7.2 for this game is underwhelming in my opinion. I think it stands between 8 and 8.5 on the score table and I have had lots of fun with it.

    I am very happy my friend told me to ignore these stupid critic reviews and get it on day one which I did and I have no regrets!

    The combat is decent, I thought the aiming was going to be really janky, but it turns out the pistol thats in most review/gameplay videos is just a piss poor weapon (I found a rifle thats much easier to aim with, tapping the fire button). It took a while to get used to the motorbike controls, but it gets easier. I really like having to look after the bike, and trying to upgrade it.

    One thing I will say is that raising the different camp trust levels feels a liiiiitle bit on the "grindy" side, but getting a new piece of equipment usually feels rewarding. The story so far is decent, it's not going to change your life, but Deacon is likeable so you'll stay interested. Full disclosure; I'm a big fan of The Forest, Dying Light, Last Of Us, and even State of Decay on the 360, so if your not sick of the Zombie/Survival genre, and you like those games too, then I'd recommend you try Days Gone!    … Expand

    Não achei Days Gone um jogo que posso falar que é um dos melhores já feito, mas de forma alguma é um game ruim. Seus gráficos, os personagens, a gameplay e sua narrativa são muito boas. O único defeito que eu me incomodei são os Loadings demorados; tirando isso, achei o exclusivo da Sony excelente. Mas realmente, o que peca é a falta de originalidade.

    Buen juego pero no perfecto, lo que llevo jugado gráficos de diez, historia muy currada y interesante me deja ganas de pillar siempre el mando para jugar, adolece de varios bugs pero los típicos de cualquier sandbox ( al menos en mi partida y hasta ahora) en resumen un buen juego merecedor de un ocho.

    Great game...so called "professional" reviewers just proved they have no credibility...they have an agenda, but no credibility. I am more than happy with how Days Gone turned out...Bend Studio should be proud of themselves. I am excited to see what Bend Studio create next, maybe a Days Gone sequel or a new Syphon Filter for the PS5??!!!

Not even Red Dead 2 or God of War did that for me! It is so sad that these so called games journalists have brought the aggregate score down with pathetic and nit picky reviews.

    While it is not a perfect game and could be improved in some areas such as adding weapons mods and outfit choices, more varied missions etc the game is still an absolute blast to play and experience. I've have not had this much fun with a game since maybe Dying Light. Taking on a horde of 300 freakers at the dead of night in the pouring rain is just so exhilarating! The weather effects are drop dead amazing and are probably the best I have ever seen on a console title. It really immerses you into the experience. This is a triumph in itself for Bend Studios so I really commend them on this fact alone.

    The story may not be the most original and creative but it is certainly very interesting and heart felt. It has kept me interested all the way through so far and after 20+ hours or so you really do start to care about these characters. They are human which means they are both good and bad and make both good and bad decisions. These are normal everyday people and while yes some are stereotypical those stereotypes do in fact exist en masse in this world (ie red neck bible thumpers etc).

    What really saddens me though about these low scores is that they seem to be from these ultra left wing SJW types with political agendas. There is little that makes me madder than reading that these morons had issues with Deacon being too white and too gruff etc having gone over the story with the political correctness comb and pulled out bits they found offensive to their ultra sensitive natures. I have little to comment about these comments from these people other than the fact that they are so pathetic they need no further comment and that's that.

    I am glad to see though that the overwhelming majority of the gamer community are supporting this fabulous game and I just hope that Sony Bend Studios takes encouragement by this and continues to support and add content and sequels etc.

    Do yourself a favor and pick up this gem I don't think you will regret it if you stick with it and give it the time it deserves.

    This title should not get any scores lower than 7-9 out of 10 but my current score is clearly an 8.5 or 9 as no title is perfect but this one is quite close!

    Highly recommended for those who love open world action/adventure zombie apocalypse themed games or survival games in general.    … Expand

    Days Gone is an open-world game that is trying to hold a big name towards The Last Of Us II, if you loved TLOU, you will love this game. Amazing storytelling, I so fuking love the facial animations of Deacon St. John and his character is so good. Really worth the 60 EUR price tag, what are you waiting for?

    Days gone, un juego el cual es bastante bueno en varios apartados como el gráficos, sonoro (la cual me parece su mejor apartado) y ambientación, sin embargo tiene fallas las cuales a simple vista y a primera hora uno ya se da cuenta. Para empezar la historia a pesar de ser buena esta mal contada con escenas innecesarias, personajes poco memorables, etc. Los bugs es algo de preocupar enDays gone, un juego el cual es bastante bueno en varios apartados como el gráficos, sonoro (la cual me parece su mejor apartado) y ambientación, sin embargo tiene fallas las cuales a simple vista y a primera hora uno ya se da cuenta. Para empezar la historia a pesar de ser buena esta mal contada con escenas innecesarias, personajes poco memorables, etc. Los bugs es algo de preocupar en este lanzamiento los enemigos no te detectan si pasas por enfrente de ellos sin embargo te pueden ver a 50 metros de distancia con un árbol tapándote medio cuerpo, sonidos los cuales se traban, varias veces me a pasado que el juego no me deja tirar una piedra para distraer al enemigo y tengo que reiniciar el juego el mismo caso con el uso de los binoculares. Y el ultimo punto negativo el cual es algo que me veía venir y rezaba para que me equivocara y es que el jueo se hace repetitivo luchar contra los freakers se resume e disparar correr 10 metros para alejarte y disparar, en si si eres alguien mas estratega puedes sacarle mas provecho a las trampas de osos, granadas, molotovs, etc ademas la inteligencia artificial es un insulto para la generación en la que estamos de los freakers es mas entendible pero la de los humanos en el juego parece que por lo menos cada ser humano le faltan 1 o mas sentidos se me olvido mencionar la motocicleta la cual es tu compañera tu Epona, tu Ellie, tu Elizabeth siempre estará para rescatarte cuando la horda te este pisando los talones muy bien echa y con un peso emocional en la historia del protagonista.
    Finalizando este juego es muy bueno no excelente los 60 dolares no los pagaría (lamentablemente ya los pague por la pre-orden pero bue) a lo mas pagaría de 40-50 dolares.    … Expand

    This game is addicting as hell! Critics are confused on what makes a good game apparently, because the game I'm playing and the game they reviewed are obviously different. Slow burn type of action game, but one hell of a ride. Once you get going, a lot of your time will be.... days gone.

Sam Whitaker's voice acting and motion capture is absolutely phenomenal and actually makes the gamer care for the protagonist (being Deacon St John). The whole concept of travelling on a motorbike and the system that it has isFirst of all, Days Gone is nothing like the reviews that the big companies are coming out with.     I'm a few hours into the story now and Days gone has exceeded my expectations by delivering on the promise of the 2016 e3 swarm/story/exploration footage... Clearly the extra time allowed to Bend by sony in the oven has paid off and this game is a technological marvel and great artistic realization allowing the player to enjoy the higher quality stylistic beats of a linear 1st party game across a fully realised open world experience. Currently running 1.04 and haven't encountered any of the bugs I read in the online reviews... If you are someone on the fence of getting this and are a fan of TLOU/farcry then this game is definitely for you. Cannot wait to play more days gone!    … Expand

    Is this game more of the same? Yes,Is it innovative? NO Is it a blast to play? YES I dont know whats wrong with people these days but some people need to get checked,to many uptight cry babies,its pathetic. This games so much fun,I love it, I say if it aint broke dont fix it,this is everything I want in a game,third person,great combat,open world,motorcycles,guns and Zombies,Ya I said it.Is this game more of the same? The game is actually a very solid one, when I read reviews from it giving it a 5, a 6 I could not understand how the same people could give a better vote to Anthem, but it happened. So I got curious. The Game has an Amazing Graphic and environment, it is a pleasure to get lost into it, there is always something to do, and while some cry "It is repetitive", well, RDR2 is repetitive, most of the Open world games are, some activities are going to be in this kind of games, but in this game your approach will change depending on the situation, it will vary a lot. It is not a Zombie game, as a matter fact the Freakers are living beings (like I am Legend with Will Smith) and their presence in the game is felt, greatly, you will be places in a situation where you know how to handle them at some point in the first few hours, only to be humbled by a change in the weather and numbers of them, and you will find out that they are very practical hunters if you do not flee or have the means to fight them. The hordes are stuff of nightmares and you will be honestly scared when you face your first one, same goes for the second and third, a small error and you will lose against it. The Day/Night cycle is amazing as the need for scavenging. The world is reach with events and missions that are not necessarily available unless you happen to walk there at the right moment. The weapons and how their quality change their damage output and performance is brilliant, you could have the best weapon in the game but have it in Junk condition, and just be able to barely use it. The crafting is also very interesting and let you stock on materials and items to use later. The bike is not just a movement asset, it does give you bonuses depending also on pieces you install on it. The bad part and reason for not giving a 10: The IA from human enemies is somewhat lacking, which makes the game enjoyable, but would have contributed better to a terror environment if they reacted a little bit more natural when finding a body (if they do that at all), I would have introduced the possibility to carry a corpse to avoid being spotted, alas, that is not in the game. Last bad thing to me is the shooting, it is not the best shooting I have ever had, it could have been better, but it does not tarnish the game.… Expand

    This game is brutal. The story is very interesting, a true open world experience.
    Audio has a lot of details, specially with a surround system, a must to play, since it changes game immersion a lot.

    Truly recommend it.

    Bend Studio made a great game with a rich, believable and captivating story. They’ve also resisted the lure of trends: there’s no multiplayer, no lootboxes, no “game as a service” plans – just a very solid (and finite) singleplayer experience. That makes it a rare gem these days, maybe one of the last of its kind. [Issue#238, p.42]

    At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
