    Excellent story and great gameplay. It does have some bugs, but nothing to diminish the incredible experience. I strongly recommend.

    I play games but never review them, personally. But after hearing this one had some poor reception, I had to speak up (and it seems like others have, too). Let's be clear -- I didn't even personally play this game. It's so good, I just watched my bf play it for hours on end, engulfed in the story as if I was binging a series, invested in the lives of the characters, begging him to playI play games but never review them, personally. It's so good, I just watched my bf play it for hours on end, engulfed in the story as if I was binging a series, invested in the lives of the characters, begging him to play even when he was tired. =) From his perspective, he said the controls took some getting used to, but they were easier than many others (and he's definitely just an average gamer). There are elements in this game that I've never personally seen before, and the way they mix the cinematic and audio elements with gameplay at times is both heart-wrenchingly beautiful and immensely successful in further investing you in the story. I was truly sad to see it end.

    The game was hard for me to get into in the beginning, but after I picked it back up I haven't been able to put it down. Yeah there are some problems with the game from falling through the map and setting me back about 2 to 4 hours of game play. To characters not rendering properly. Les hordes d'infectées sont les plus impressionnantes que j'ai pu voir dans les jeux vidéo. L'histoire est intrigante, bien écrit et touchante. Le décor est majestueux. Le personnage principal, Deacon, est étoffé, émouvant et pas du tout générique. Il faut savoir que BendUn jeu complètement sous estimé et oublié.     A game completely underestimated and forgotten. There are some negatives but many more positives. The hordes of infected are the most impressive that I have seen in video games. The story is intriguing, well written and touching. The decor is majestic. The main character, Deacon, is full, moving and not at all generic. You should know that Bend Studio is not a huge studio and yet, they have managed to surpass several big budget games. Personally, I had a great time and I await a second opus for this masterpiece unfairly underrated by the media.    … Expand

    Es un juegaso, para mi esta en el top 10 de los juegos de la decada, ya que te permite hacer una gran variedad de misiones u objetivos tanto como principales como secundarios, la ambientacion es genial, tanto como el estilo grafico y la jugabilidad, es sencillamente un JUEGAZO

    I was surprised at the large discrepancy between User Positives vs Critic Positives. I really dont think the critic score (71 when i reviewed) is a good reflection of the quality of this game. This is a great game, with a really good interface, characters & story. There is a HUGE open world and main mission, as well as masses of good side missions.

I didn’t even think that she could conquer me like The last of us, although these games are similar, they are completely different, and comparing them is stupid. I want to say that in addition to The last of us, Days Gone rolled my heart! Although this did not happen right away. I recommend everyone not to be disappointed at the initial stage, but it will happen. As they say the first impression is deceptive. I advise you to continue the game, and follow the script, to the point where there is a hint that Sarah is alive, after that the game opens in a new way, with each mission you fall in love more and more, you live in hope like Dick that Sarah is alive. Honestly, throughout the game I have several times rolled up a mean male tear, it's all so much exciting. Unfortunately, it is not known for sure whether the sequel will be, but there are hints in the end. If so, I really hope that it appears in the near future. I also wish that the developers would continue to develop that chain of events related to the research of Sarah and what she wanted to achieve in the cave, but it did not work out. in fact, why he and Dick decided to flee the militia in order to continue to work on Sarah's research.     Credit where it is due, this is a good game and very enjoyable to play. Time has been taken on the mechanics and stunning scenery. The drawbacks are the glitches and confusion over what you are meant to be doing at times (missions)
    I have recommended the game to others though, who says hordes are hard! ;)

    I really liked the game in spite of technical aggreshes. Great plot, gameplay component, graphics, hordes of zombies, atmosphere, perfectly implemented change of weather, especially snow! even months after passing the game, you can gladly go in and cut through the bike and kill the hordes of zombies!

I did consider TLOU to be the benchmark of all games, but Days Gone's open world style of play elevates it above that.     CAVEAT: To my shame, despite loving zombies, the reviews put me off. I should not have listened. I'm playing it about 9 months after release so presumably any bugs that I've seen mentioned on reddit etc have been fixed.     Este juego esta muy bien estructurado pensando que fue hecho por bend studios esta desarrolladora no hace juegos desde 2007 y este me a facinado con su historia atrapante y personajes muy bien hechos con sus propias historias muy interesantes no le pongo un 10 por los pocos bugs que posee hoy en dia pero no es nada serio ya que se puede jugar bien.     This has got to be one of the most enjoyable game I have ever played. Everything from side missions to the the main story will grab your attention 100%. Take your time with the game. The start might be a little frustrating, but you definitely won’t regret it.

    Um ótimo jogo, a jogabilidade é boa e a história muito bem feita. Eles poderiam ter melhorado um pouco na questão das hordas, mas ela também cumpriu um pouco dos parâmetros que eu esperava. E alguns raros bugs que não chegou a atrapalhar a minha experiência, mas que era bem legais de ser ver pelas esquisitice.

    I played this game a few months after it launched even though I preordered and bought the collectors edition. I thoroughly enjoyed Days Gone and didn't experience any bugs or glitches at all, the story and gameplay were awesome and the world was interesting with lots of stuff to do. I highly reccomend Days Gone to anybody that wants to play a solid open world zombie game that's a Sony Exclusive.

    This is a really decent video game. It has nice characters, fascinating plot, beautiful graphics, cool shooting mechanics and mechanics of hordes of zombies. Not to mention how awesome and fun the bike handling is in the game.
    A chic and very underrated Sony exclusive that I advise everyone to play.

    This is a masterpiece of storytelling, open world design, enjoyable and diverse gameplay and stunning graphics. It got a bit buggy for me a couple of times, but hard resets seemed to fix the issues. This game also showcases PS5 capabilities better than any other game I have on the PS5 so far too.

    Good gameplay, good battles and a carismatic character. Sometimes the fps suffered some falls, but after the latest updates the most of errors were corrected. I guess that this game could be better in playstation 5, using a strongest hardware.

Post game is amazing as well. Awesome story, emergent gameplay, great sneaking gameplay and so much more. I would pay $500 for a sequel, truly. All the open world activities are spread out amazingly in between chunks of story with plenty of cut scenes so you never get bored. There is no open world grind to be found here... In fact the way they spread the story out in this game is the vey best I have ever seen... The bike handles amazingly although some of the in-game character animations needed a little more refinement. A couple of bugs to be found but nothing that ruins the game. Combat is fine but I like to snipe everyone and go in stealth and this game gave me that in spades so no complaints. Hordes are terrifying! Oh and I loved the soundtrack...

    I generally never write Metacritic reviews but I had to come here and praise this game. This game literally took over my life for a week because I just could not stop playing it! I sincerely hope they make a sequel to this... I came from Ghost of Tsushima to playing this and I can say without a doubt that the story here left Ghost of Tsushima for dead IMO...    … Expand

    It's a really fun and happy game. The story is good and the storytelling is so good that I thought I was dreaming for a while. I hope you will come back with better graphics, fun, and emotion in the sequel.

    I played this game in late 2020, so I didn't experience the bugs, and I have to say that this game is awesome. If you liked The Last of Us, this game gives you a different story with an open map and more gameplay hours.

    Это гениально. Для тех кто играл играл меньше двух часов и не оценил конечно плохо, я тоже в первый час так себе игра, а потом затянуло сюжет 10/10 обидно что все так быстро закончилось. Геймплей мои почтения. Купил не пожалел. Я прошёл её несколько раз, самое классное это атмосфера, как выставлен свет и т.д. Советую всем пройти эту игру.)Это гениально.     Согласен, на старте это был самый технически слабый эксклюзив Sony, но с патчами все поправили что касалось технических проблем. В общем и целом неплохая история с интригующей концовкой, интересный мир и прекрасная картинка.     I am very satisfied with this game. The game has great visuals and pretty refreshing mechanic for a supposedly tired genre. This game was made with a big heart, and I am hoping that Bend Studio will keep improving and expanding on the game feature and story for the sequel.     The is one of the best video games i ever played!, the graphics are great the story is good.. the combat is ok and could be better.     The game starts off a bit slow and is a bit hard until you put some more hours into the game and get better weapons than the game picks up and it does not disappoint.

    There are a few audio issues and some picture pop ins but the game is awesome and a lot of fun. The weather effects and level designs are beautiful the artist deserves a lot of credit.

    DAYS GONE is an amazing game, I just finished it, and I was very upset to learn that Sony did not want to do a sequel due to the low metacritic ratings. SONY, I PLEASE DO CONTINUE, THE GAME IS GORGEOUS!

    An open world, an analogue of a zombie apocalypse with its analogue of zombies - freaks, beautiful nature, charismatic characters and a great story. Upon learning that the former exclusive will be ported to the PC, and even in the best, progressive and Orthodox store - Steam, I was incredibly happy. I    Days Gone was interesting at the announcement stage as a PlayStation exclusive.

    An open world, an analogue of a zombie apocalypse with its analogue of zombies - freaks, beautiful nature, charismatic characters and a great story.

    Upon learning that the former exclusive will be ported to the PC, and even in the best, progressive and Orthodox store - Steam, I was incredibly happy.

    I played a little and formed the first impression - the presentation, the richness of the picture, the gameplay - everything is up to par.

    I would also like to note the quality of the port on the PC - the port turned out to be excellent, in 4k the game produces stable 60 frames per second at high.

    For fans of the genre and good stories - a must have to buy.

    I didn’t expect anything from it, which is why it was doubly pleasant to get a good-hearted and cool game. Got platinum, want a sequel

    As much as I dislike zombie stories, I loved this game just as much! Аnd at the end a bold hint at the continuation of the story, so let's release Days Gone 2 pls;)

    I feel reviewers didn't enjoy the game because this game, similar to red dead, ask you to slow down.. Stop, think about your next steps. Rather than a quick checkbox system you can fast travel to and complete ubisoft style like a zombie (no pun intended because they are freakers).. If you liked red dead and the slowness of it, you will like this. Fueling the bike can be a shore at first but it has also brought me one of the most exciting dynamic unscripted events in a game.. in an instance I was traveling and I ran out of petrol near a overrun town and had to sneak through buildings and freakers just to find a petrol canister, I was weak and knew I couldn't face that many freakers head on, so the fear of being spotted while looking for petrol gave me an unexpected thrill I haven't yet had in any other video game that wasn't intentionally scripted.. Alot of walking dead vibes.. I won't even talk about the weather system.. It is the best by a long margin in a video game.. The way snow gathers on the floor after a clear sunny day..     Fantastic game. I absolutely loved it. Even though it frustrates me when I'm lost at the woods with no fuel or the constant zombie chases. I loved it because it's grounded.

    Extremely hyped for PC version, i played it on PS4 and it's one of the best zombie games ever made. Now i wanna play it on max settings / 60fps and with keyboard/mouse.

They’ve also resisted the lure of trends: there’s no multiplayer, no lootboxes, no “game as a service” plans – just a very solid (and finite) singleplayer experience.     At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
