    Rockstar nailed it again! They dominated the zombie-survival genre with their first try. No one else makes worlds so alive. No one else makes characters so unique....Oops! I just realized that this game is made by... Bend Studio. Ok. Guys this game is awful and silly and repetitive and... anyway, don't buy it.

    How are the critics so mixed on this game? Acting? Great. Characters? Unique and amazing. Story? Sucks you in and keeps you interested. Gameplay? Addicting AF! Upgrade system? Check. Regrets? That I didn't play this sooner. This games definitely deserves more praise than it got, and Sony should be jumping on the opportunity to keep the series going. If only all zombie games were this fun.

    I didn't play Days Gone when it first released. I played it in December of 2020. I can honestly say that I don't understand the low scores at all. Days Gone is fantastic. The story, characters and writing is top notch. The gunplay is clunky at first but much better after you get the ranged talent upgrades and better guns later in the game.

    The world feels very real. When you are scavenging for parts or materials you feel a sense of dread. You may happen upon a few freaks or a whole horde. The first time you encounter a horde by accident is unbelievable. Truly terrifying when you are unprepared.

    I really hope that, despite the bad reviews the game garnered, it gets a sequel. There's a great series here and it deserves a chance to improve on the original.    … Expand

    A 7.5 would work great IMO. The game is fun, challenging, and looks good. Story is pretty good, nothing to knock your socks off, but its fine. I like the motorcycle aspect. Nice having something to move around on that is not a horse. Overall its a good game. But for the love of god, someone tell Decon to speak up. Its a chore to understand what he is saying

    Even with some bugs, game itself is well done and the caracters, NPCs and the great story behind the walls give me all what I like most in a game. Ane off course! Face and kill hordes is quite funny!!! In my opinion, you will experience much more fun compared to others as Horizon Zero Down, Spider    From Brazil!

    I love this game, from the compelling story to the awesome music. I only gave this a 9 though because the start of the game is pretty slow for like an hour or 2 but after that it gets a lot better. When their needs to be music at a specific point like a character death or major plot point the music is on point.     I finally finished Days gone today and I must say, it was way better than I thought it would be. I can't remember the last game I invested 80 hours into without taking any hiatuses. Here are my bullet points.

    Pros: - Great story, it hits generic beats typical for the genre but overall a great experience. It was novel-like in its ability to keep me wanting to know what was happening    I finally finished Days gone today and I must say, it was way better than I thought it would be. I can't remember the last game I invested 80 hours into without taking any hiatuses. Here are my bullet points.

    Pros:
    - Great story, it hits generic beats typical for the genre but overall a great experience. It was novel-like in its ability to keep me wanting to know what was happening next and often-times I would play much longer than intended simply to see where the story was headed.

    -Good gameplay, it was nothing revolutionary but was never a nuisance in any regard. I loved mowing down waves and waves of freakers while upgrading my guns and skills.

    - The bike was great, It was annoying before getting fuel tank upgrades and prior to clearing most of the infestation zones but was a very cool and unique way to traverse the giant map.

    - The characters were for the most part excellent and complimented deacons insanity and disregard for his own life. Not all hit the mark though (looking at you Lisa).

    - The various sidequests could become tedious at times, but the game gives you a reason to complete each one. For example, clearing infestations made less freakers spawn and frees up your ability to fast travel while taking out ambush camps made the roads safer and filled out the map.

    - Excellent enemies, I loved seeing all the freakers and tainted beasts and... untainted beasts.

    - there's plenty more to say but I'll stop there.

    Cons:
    - The game was buggy, like super buggy. I'm a bethesda fan so I'm used to buggy open world games, but in the last act of the game there were so many game breaking bugs that could only be fixed by restarting my ps4 it became very tiring. I had a cutscene where the floor had disappeared, when the cutscene ended I fell through nothingness to my death. I would also get trapped in one-way invisible walls that would force me to restart my game. The list goes on and on.

    - Ammo capacity upgrades were locked behind level three trust within camps, making them only available far later in the game. I had only unlocked one or two by the time I beat the story and it took me around 80 hours due to always completing areas before moving on

    - The texture loading was god-awful at times, sometimes never loading at all throughout a cutscene. I can recall many times where boozers head tattoos were just... blurs.

    - some of the skills felt meaningless and there were strange additions to gameplay such as throwing rocks which I never once used at all. Then again, I played on normal - they may be more beneficial on higher difficulties.

    - Some of the Skills were useless, like throwing rocks to stun a single enemy or following up a melee attack with a ranged attack.

    - While the enemies that were in the game were great, there could have been a much larger variety, there is endless possibilities of what they could do with this "infection"

    All in all, the game was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for their next open world fix. It wasn't perfect, and there were many flaws, but the things that were done right really made this game a memorable experience for me - 8/10.    … Expand

    A good game, which was killed by the SJW press with their articles, which reduced points for the fact that the main character is white and not a woman. Most of the reviewers did not even go through half the game, as they themselves said. WTF

    Incredible game. Not sure why the professional critics gave it bad ratings, clearly they are biased and unprofessional or too lop-sided to understand the feat that Sony Bend studios achieved. My argument is justified given how good the user score is.

    If one game has made me never listen to critic reviews it is this one. I have been playing on the Playstation 5 version and can honestly say it is one of the best open world games I’ve ever played.

    It's a good game , where u will have a lot of emotions. But really there are no revolutions , know that. And Im not angry about situation, when only GOOD game are ported to PC, if u have PS4 or Pc play this game, buy this game. The biggest problem is long of game from 80 hours in middle, so if u have time and u love action in openworld u will like this game.
    Im waiting for second part.

    Me gustó muchísimo, la atmósfera post apocalíptica que recrea es genial, muy bien echa, la moto es fácil, cómoda y divertida de manejar, la angustia que se siente en cada rincón está muy bien, para mi es un gran juego!

    A queda de fps no lançamento foi horrível, estragava completamente a experiência mas já melhorou bastante sendo agora pontuais.
    A história não foi nada demais, um pouco previsível e enfadonha.
    As lutas com as hordas são altamente! Recomendo para quem gosta do género.
    Comprei mota apenas por causa do jogo!

    Lo mejor: Las hordas son brutales, buena historia y personajes, largo pero no se hace pesado y es muy divertido.

    Lo peor: Caídas de framerate, incluso llegando a quedar bloqueada la pantalla por medio segundo, texturas que no cargan. Algún cambio de mecánicas básicas para ciertos bosses me parecen un fallo.

    Extremely underrated game. Yes, the story was too cheesy and trivial, it copied gameplay elements from other game, but in the end it's more than the sum of its parts. It's just THAT fun to play. Too bad they won't make a sequel.

    awesome game. I really liked the game world. In the middle of the game, the story became more interesting.I admit, I started to enjoy more of it from the half of the game. The game was quite long but I was definitely not bored. + story

    Playing this game in 2021 and must say much better than I thought. Cannot believe I almost missed the chance to play this because of stupid critics. I am enjoying it more than last of us 2 and I am 30 hours in.

И вот, единственный сранный момент, где он нужен. Босс рандомные вещи делает, когда ты не можешь никак не увернуться, а у тебя 2 попытки. Ну, максимум, 3. Перед тем как он тебя добьет.     excellent game. I am playing in 2021 on Playstation 5 and, perhaps for countless fixes and hardware much better than the PS4 the game runs very well, immersive world and very good facial animations.
    I liked it more than the last of us 2.

    I'm a little late to the party, but I just finished Days Gone on a standard PS4 console. And I thought I'd share my experience in a rapid review. First off I think the game looks amazing for console standards. I was really impressed. The downside with this is the occasional FPS drop when entering settlements. The story was well above average for me, it wasn't breathtaking, but it had a solid foundation and a lot of organic character building, and a satisfying conclussion. It didn't feel rushed or senseless in any sort of way for me. The gameplay was fun, and challenging in many areas. However I do recommend playing on Hard or higher difficulties if you really want to immerse yourself in this tense survival, zombie themed experience. I spent 60+ hours on this game and I unlocked the platinum trophy. And for any trophy hunters, like myself reading this I can say with a happy heart that the trophies are well crafted. No difficulty related or multiple playthroughs or missable trophies. I am really happy overall with this game, though I wish for some more lore to the virus, a more intellegent AI and for the player to be a teeny tiny less dependant on the bike you traverse the invirornment with. Other than that a fantastic game that I probably will play again on NG+!… Expand

    Let me start by saying this game is underrated. This is not a zombie game, sure there are alot of zombies,but, the story doesn't make you feel like you are playing a zombie game. Like every game this has its own flaws too. But the postive weights over those flaws.

    I loved this game from the deepest part of my heart , I didn't expect that the game will be amazing like this , this is the first time that I bought a game that deserve every penny because of how big the story , the world, even attention to details was good in this game, I felt Deacon the way he wants to find Sarah

    Great game. I really enjoyed this one. Open world is great. Just about every aspect of this game is flawless. I could go into the details but that would take forever. Mad Max - The Last of Us are the 2 games that come to mind while playing this bad boy . Just a very well thought out open world game.

    This game, is a kind of post apocalyptic world, that was taken by zombies (although they say they are mutated beings), that came surprise surprise... by a virus! Ok, here sounds little bit like Resident Evil and The Last Of Us as idea. Well, it would look more to The Last Of Us as open world. Two bikers, I've looking for his wife with a hope not to be dead, when the whole owner is. Like in the Lady Of Us, people are divided, looking to survive, everyone for himself. So, the freaks (zombies) is not your only problem on this world and every enemy needs a different approach. Our protagonist, is a drifter, he died not belong to any camp. He's a biker, that before everything went down, belonged to (as you notice) a Motorcycle Club and before that, he served in Afghanistan (to explain his skills), that the last, explaining every detail, did how will written is this game!

    Battle is being developed the whole time. You start with normal weapons, on the end you have fun machine guns and snipers, to molotovs and traps. The amazing thing is, the game is made, in order to use all of them! The game or is both stealth and action during combat.

    I loved the voice acting and the music. It gave me some scare moments too. The few songs or had, I literally love to listen to them.

    The world is so perfectly made and the graphics so great, that I believe this would have many to be made for PS5 instead of PS4. That is one of the few "negatives" actually. It is the only game, that actually brought my PS4 Pro to it's knees! It's not happening a lot, but especially if you like me, you ready the console instead of closing out or restarting it, you'll get frame drops and you will hear the PS4 Pro working on full power!

    Me parece un gran título Su mundo habierto y ambientación es muy interesante. Tal vez no es el mejor de todos los exclusivos de playstation pero almenos lo coloco entre los 5 mejores, gráficamente luce hermoso con sus bosques, zonas nevadas, pantanos,etc. Almenos es mi opinión al jugarlo en PS4 PRO con HDR y las mejoras que ofrece en teles 4k

    Pero considero que han hecho un gran trabajo en irlo arreglando y a día de hoy con todos los añadidos que han hecho merece mucho la pena...
    Sin duda un juego de 9/10

The plot, gameplay, soundtrack, motorcycle control, animation of finishing moves, battles with hordes of freaks, chases, additional storylines, excellent localization andUnfortunately, I had a chance to get acquainted with the game only in 2020 in connection with the purchase of PS 4 slim. I really hope Bend Studio will make a sequel. One of the best Sony exclusives of the past generation.

Also in the game there are incredible little things that are usually found in Naughty Dog games, which is undoubtedly pleasing. You can see that the creators of this game love it very much and do everything possible to make it better. At the start, I gave it 6/10, but now, I realized that this game deserves 8/10 points.     I have played this game from start to finish with about 90% of the trophies completed and I can honestly say this game is amazing.

    Pros: Deacon St John is an excellently written and acted character that fits the hardcore biker with a softer side he tries to hide. The art department did an outstanding job with the gear, environment, and the enemies. The cuts scenes were also very well done. I honestly do not remember any of them having issues.

    Cons:graphics lag is horrendous with pop ins, delays in seeing completed pictures, things like tattoos just being a blurry mess, or just not loading at all. The control of the motorcycle can be a bit unstable even at endgame with it being decked out. I also had an issue with some of the hordes not loading right. I had one reset at the very end of the fight and another I had to restart the game to force the horde to spawn.

    Overall this is an excellent post apocalyptic world game that I feel leaves itself open for a second one if they decided to do another one. I just really hope they fix the Issues before they do.    … Expand

I.e. in Assasin Creed series I had a real problem with repetitive missions, here i dont. Main differentiator I think, in AC they put 90% of the budget on visuals, here they still had some money for story.

    Magnifique aventure j'ai adoré. Jai jouer sur ps5 et aucun bug bonne durée vie. Les hordes de zombies quelle plaisir.

    Got the game after most of the major bug fixes and though I think it went on for +/-10 hours to long, I loved every second in the game world and I'm happy to see the positive user score!

    The 71 metascore is honestly ridiculous. I also thing the 81 userscore is low. I thought this game was phenomenal. Graphics, gameplay, voice acting. The world is beautiful.     Sinceramente, es mi mejor experiencia con un juego de mundo abierto, si bien, me topé con varios bugs en el camino, eso no fue problema que me impidiera disfrutar el juego. El mundo de siente muy vivo, siempre pasan cosas, puedes toparte con animales y cazarlos, luchas contra zombies o contra ladrones, puedes rescatar personas, en fin un sin número de situaciones que te sorprenderán. TodoSinceramente, es mi mejor experiencia con un juego de mundo abierto, si bien, me topé con varios bugs en el camino, eso no fue problema que me impidiera disfrutar el juego.     I cannot understand how this game didn't get more awards and recognition. Beautiful graphics, great gameplay and unlike any other zombie game out there,. It gives you Walking Dead vibes and I love it. Can't get enough of it

    I thought the game was really great, the story was exciting and made me want to finish the game, which is rare for me, graphics are great, the hoards are even better, overall one of my favourite games. Crossing my fingers for a sequel.

    The horde idea where you have to hunt and kill 300 zombies all at the same time, all on screen without frame rate drops, is a benchmark in video game history. Nothing like this was ever made. Not even close. And it's outstanding.
    The story is good, the characters are very well built and the acting is the best you can have in the gaming or movie industry.    What an absolutely amazing game!

La historia fue muy interesante ya que a medida que vamos adentrándonos más en el personaje; el mismo nos va contando su historia y como fue era todo antes de que llegara el virus freaker a través de Flashbacks ,el juego fue muy divertido ,sorprendente, con mucho contenido, desafíos y misiones alternativas como solía tener GTA V Sin lugar a duda alguna *DAYS GONE* Es el mejor juego de zombies que eh jugado.     Amazingly beautiful!!!!!!!!! Its the game that i dreamt about for years.Environment, zombies, npc's they are all well made done!

    Just ignore the critics that made when the game first launched and give this ''art'' a chance.You wont regret it!

Excelente juego realmente lo único malo son las pantallas de carga pero en si el juego tiene una estética muy buena gran variedad de armas , misiones que en si son muy repetitivas pero buenas , las hordas son el pilar fundamental, la trama se pasa de zombis a las humanos de los campamentos y enserio gran trama me encantó el juego muy bueno para un estudio que estuvo ausente por algunos años… Expand

    Fantastic game. Graphics are great, motorcycle riding is fun and the zombie killing is sensational. Only problem is there should be an option to tone down the gore a little.

    At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
