    As of 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 is very enjoyable on a last-gen console. The story, world, acting, music, and visuals are all breathtaking! Night City is an amazing place to play in.
    Alongside the excellent main story, there is a huge amount of side quests you can do, as well as other random quests and encounters around the city which really help you feel part of the world.
    However, I can't    As of 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 is very enjoyable on a last-gen console. The story, world, acting, music, and visuals are all breathtaking! Night City is an amazing place to play in.
    Alongside the excellent main story, there is a huge amount of side quests you can do, as well as other random quests and encounters around the city which really help you feel part of the world.
    However, I can't give this game 10/10 - despite playing on an SSD-equipped PS4 Pro (the SSD eliminates most of if not all the asset pop-in), there are still some technical issues that make the game somewhat less enjoyable.

    FPS drops are a common occurrence while driving through the city. This can make driving feel very sluggish and difficult to control.
    There aren't very many bugs any more, however in my two full playthroughs I found two annoying bugs: one bug in an ending mission which caused to mission to fail automatically and repeatedly (forcing me to load a previous save) and one bug where my sandevistan does not work sometimes during combat for some reason.

    These technical problems I experienced being my only real issues with the game, I feel that 8/10 is fully deserved, and I absolutely love this game!    … Expand

    Having waited for quite some time for the bugs to be corrected, this game really picked itself up from the gutters. I found myself deeply immersed in the cyberpunk atmosphere and often forgot about my main mission because the side missions, stories and characters were so good.

    The first few hours of the game is some of the best gameplay i have ever experienced however it doesnt last long. It had a bigger potencial that what it was and the optimization on ps4 is bad.

    Played it after many patches and on PS5, so my experience was pretty good. Liked the plot and game. Maybe, if I had bought it when it was reappeared I wouldn’t have rated it that high

    I was quite looking forward to this game before it released but held out as I had a couple of other games to play so it was a narrow escape from the abysmal launch. I picked it up a week ago on sale and must say I'm really glad I did.

    The details in the world seem all very nicely thought out, people of all shapes and sizes walk around at different paces and although that doesn't seem like much it certainly feels more like a world rather than every npc having the same build and animations just with different skins.

    Gameplay wise it's a lot of fun. Combat feels good with punchy weapons and plenty of options to adjust your approach which helps with your decision on how to build your character with their skills. Driving controls are responsive and make it fun to whip around the incredibly designed city with all its many side streets and interwoven paths

    I enjoyed being stealthy and taking out enemies one by one with rear grapples, I enjoyed sneaking behind them with a high powered pistol and watching a gaping hole form in their head, I also thoroughly enjoyed blasting them all to bits with a high powered machine gun and various other methods so yeah there's enough there to keep you yearning for that next fight.

    I'm not usually bothered about story as much as I used to but this game got me listening to the dialogue and investing a bit in the characters and so far it's been very rewarding.

    There are still bugs - I've had a friendly npc talking to me then to carry on the story he walked right through my car and me but so far nothing game breaking. It can be amusing at times but it can break your immersion.

    Overall I'd highly recommend getting into the game now. If you're looking for an open fps rpg with character building, weapon loot/crafting/levelling where you can also go full GTA and steal cars and cause mayhem in an amazing looking city with a killer soundtrack then go for it - definitely happy I bought this now.    … Expand

    I played on ps4 pro. I crashed maybe 2x and experienced 1 annoying bug a few times. Jumping over a rail at the wrong angle would propel me down the street and into traffic. The story was satisfying and the gameplay was awesome. I played through a few times to try out different playstyles. All in all money well spent.

La historia es muy buena, con misiones principales de lo más interesantes y secundarias muy entretenidas,Voy a intentar realizar el análisis más objetivo posible sobre Cyberpunk 2077. Este juego, ambientado en un futuro en el que los implantes cibernéticos están a la orden del día, consigue, a través de esta ambientación, llevarte a ese mundo y sumergirte en él de una forma muy natural. La historia es muy buena, con misiones principales de lo más interesantes y secundarias muy entretenidas, como caracteriza a CD Projekt Red. Toda esa gran historia se podría haber culminado con alguna misión más que te explique más cosas acerca de Night City o expandiendo un poco el hilo argumental. Por esto me da la sensación de que quizá han recortado alguna misión para acortar la duración del juego, algo de lo que se quejaron de The Witcher y en este juego han querido cambiar, para mi un fallo importante porque habría quedado una obra más completa. A pesar de ello el juego me duró unas 40 horas sin completar todas las misiones, una duración absolutamente correcta. Artísticamente es bueno y técnicamente me ha ido bien, a 60 fps con caídas puntuales en la ciudad (he jugado en PS5). La jugabilidad es buena, con muchas mecánicas, siendo estas conservadoras pero muy divertidas, además de diversas. Eso sí, el combate cuerpo a cuerpo es bastante mejorable y espero que se pula en un futuro. También, los personajes son muy buenos en general, profundos y con arcos interesantes; el mapa es espectacular, lleno de lugares asombrosos; y la banda sonora es buena y cuadra perfectamente con la ambientación. También cabe destacar todos los detalles, textos en los que te introducir y te sumergen en el mundo y cosas interesantes que te vas encontrando a lo largo de la aventura. El juego tiene muchas cosas buenas, pero también tiene unas cuantas carencias, las cuales espero que se mejoren en un futuro. Con el parche 1.23, el juego sigue con muchos bugs, no muy importantes pero siguen empeorando bastante la experiencia de juego. A pesar de ese aspecto (espero que siga mejorando), el mayor punto débil del juego sin lugar a dudas es la inteligencia artificial, siendo bastante mala para un juego de esta categoría, con diálogos repetitivos de los NPC, una IA de la policía completamente desastrosa (apareciendo de repente y dejando de seguirte en cuanto avanzas un poco), y carencia de inteligencia en las secuencias de disparos por parte de los enemigos. Teniendo en cuenta todo esto y haciendo un balance global, este RPG de acción consigue ser un correcto exponente en su género, quedándose atrás de ser el gran juego que CD Projekt prometía por culpa de los problemas que sigue arrastrando a día de hoy. 8,2/10

    The story and side missions are really good but the gigs and ncpd scanner hustles are so boring. The AI is really dumb. Overall good story with bad open world and mediocre rpg elements. Story is a 10.

All that said, I thought it was a cracking game, lots to keep interested in, loads of weapons and a huge amount of side quests.     Jeu tellement prenant dans l’univers, l’immersion, le gameplay. Quant aux bug de la ps4, je reste reconnaissant de pouvoir y jouer, car oui il est très clairement jouable aujourd’hui sur ps4 malgré quelques bug graphiques, c’est vraiment cool de pouvoir y jouer sur une vieille machine !!

    One of the best parts of Cyberpunk 2077 is the story, which is very interesting despite being shorter than it should've been in my opinion.
    The characters are great overall; I liked V (Female), Johnny and Panam more than I expected. Some characters like River and Kerry could benefit from more screentime, but they were good nonetheless.
    The gameplay is pretty enjoyable, albeit buggy at times.
    The world is really good! Night City is probably one of my favorite places in a videogame, and most of the quests are wonderful, just like in The Witcher.
    The visuals are very beautiful most of the time and the music is absolutely fantastic!
    Unfortunately for the game though, there are technical problems. From texture pop up, to FPS drops, audiovisual issues, glitches and even some crashes.
    Also, the RPG elements are quite underwhelming (dialogue options & side-activities) and lastly, the A.I. is flawed and the wanting system is almost absent.

    Pros:
    + Engrossing story
    + Fun and varied gameplay
    + Compelling and likable characters
    + Superb quest design
    + Night City is spectacular

    Cons:
    - Short plot
    - Technical/audiovisual issues
    - Underwhelming RPG elements
    - A.I. & wanting system

    Despite the unfortunate launch, flaws and some broken promises, with Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red proved to me once again that they are at the top of their game when it comes to engaging storytelling and characters in an Open World game.

    Do I recommend it?:
    Well, I know that it's playable on most platforms, but I don't know if it's worth getting it on the base versions of the consoles for now. I'd recommend it for PC or PS4 Pro/Xbox One/PS5/Xbox Series X owners though.    … Expand

    I played and beat this game when it first came out and when it still had most of it's bugs on a PS4 pro and it was beyond my expectations of what an open world game from even the creator's of The Witcher series could make. It was a sublime experience into a dark world and playing it now after all of the hard work from the developers is equally as impressive.     Played on ps5 and had zero problems with any bugs so i cant comment on any of the hate this game gets on previous consoles. I loved the world and characters (shout out to Jackie and Panam). Alot of the choices you make didn't seem to alter the story much but making the choices definitely made the game more personal to me and made me more invested in the story.

The game is amazing when you don’t have to worry about all the glitches I heard about. The game is like Fallout meets Grandtheft Auto. Which works for me since I love both. You also have Keanu Reeves giving his less wooden performance ever and it’s in a video game. Yes,I waited until I had PS5 until I played the game. That I got for Christmas on PS4.     Probably THE most memorable characters and story you will ever play.A city that feels so good to even traverse in.So much attention to detail.

    Shame that on release the game was broken and pushed away a lot of people. Definitely worth your time since then.

CDPR doesn't deserve all the hate messages they get but it is fair to say that Cyberpunk is a wasted opportunity. Anyways I still loved the game playing it when it came out. But... since then I re-played Witcher3, GoW (PS4), RDR2, Horizon ZD and MassEffect. That made me realise that compared to these games Cyberpunk looks pale. It is just unfinished, so many things you would expect to be there like police chases or changing character optics are missing. It lacks this certain bit of something that makes the difference between a good game and a masterpiece. At least one year more time of development would have given the developers the chance to achieve that. I would rank the gameplay itself 5/10 points but as I said the story is actually really good, that's why I am giving it 8 points and hope they will continue to improve it. To conclude: Giving it 0 points is rediculous, there are lots of far worse games out there. But the many broken dreams and promises make the anger understandable. Hopefully they've learned their lesson and make it better on next the Witcher game.… Expand

    Now that patch 1.6 is out, Cyberpunk 2077 is fixed and is one of my favorite games to date! I'm playing on ps5 and I'm really impressed with how cdpr fixed Cyberpunk 2077. Great job cdpr.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. (PS4 PRO 2022 review ) Great game one of my favorites caught it on sale on ps4 for 24$. It’s not a perfect game but most bugs are fixed. The key problems I had were : crashing occasionally like after 2 or so hours of playing or during combat with a lot of explosions,The fact that the cops literally spawn 10 feet adjacent to you is pretty annoying but they’re pretty easy to lose, and the fact that the driving is atrocious asf probably the worst driving I’ve ever encountered in a video game. But solid gameplay you get to make choices that decide the story , great character customization (like really good) , build like system with multiple ways to play when it comes to combat (stealth etc). You can Loot, craft, sell, buy, just about everything you find . The npcs don’t really get you immersed in the world I feel like the city is really great in some aspects like how some parts of it look but it you don’t always feel like you’re really there in V’s shoes . Still an excellent game despite its flaws for the most part they seem to somewhat listen to the community and are still updating. I recommend buying on sale if you really want to give it a try , it definitely had a rough launch but most of the (game breaking)launch issues are gone . There aren’t too many serious bugs.… Expand

    If someone think that this game is z 0 then he is full of s***. Game have great graphic and story. After 1.5 patch there are only few bugs now and then, but nothing game breaking and no more then in other open world games.

    Я играл в игру со самого старта, и я не знаю почему, но проблем и багов у меня не было от слова совсем. Единственное что происходило, так это вылеты каждые 4 часа, но прогресс сохранялся и я просто продолжал играть. Единственный не приятный баг из за которого пришлось перезапустить миссию, это в задании с хакершой из клуба которая с нами под воду в свой город плавала.     Bugs and crashes were annoying, but I still enjoyed the game enough to collect the Platinum Trophy. I logged over 100 hours of enjoyable gameplay and the game still stands out as one of my favorites. Would have been a 10 for me if not for the technical issues.

    Gotta say I loved every second of this game it was fantastic and is an example of how open world should be done.     And as far as side missions, they don't feel phoned in. They make you want to do them because they add to story and feel meaningful. Yet they are still optional. You don't have to do a single side mission you aren't interested in.

    That being said there are still a couple of visual glitches here and there, but its not that bad now. Which is why the score is not a ten. And Also because I couldn't get enough of this game. I need more.

    Played this on my ps5 and had zero issues. Granted I played after their big patch update fixing most issues. Graphics were great and the story was compelling. The game peaked for me in the middle of the total story or beginning than even after, but a lot of cool stuff to try out, but not as big as originally advertised.

    They fixed the game. Changing my review from negative to positive. Would have given it a 10 but they had to throw keanu reeves in the game. Wasn't necessary. Could have used anyone unknown person and game would have been fine. I don't care for celeb worship. All in all, the game has a great story and i hope they bring new content. I will buy it.

    - Some half-assed elements like crafting and consumables.

    Lower your expectations, cyberpunk has amazing side content, and good but not great everything else. Not GTA, but a high end ubisoft game. And I enjoy high end ubisoft games.    … Expand

    I am not a huge fan of FPS games, I did not get this game because of the gameplay, I got it for the story. Because of this, many of the issues people had with the gameplay didn't bother me.     Gave up on the ps4 version, but since the ps5 upgrade dropped I've gotten back into it and the difference is night and day, the game is amazing now, you do still get the occasional bug but I can honestly say it's one of the best games I've played in years and will go through if again when new game plus drops.     Un des meilleurs jeu auquel j’ai pu jouer, bien que les promesses de CD project n’aient pas été tenu le jeu est incroyablement beau (sur Ps5 et avec une TV 4K 120 fps), le scénario est genial et les personnages attachants. Bref, j’en veux encore et j'attend avec impatience les future DLC.

    Just give it a chance. After patch 1.51 on ps4pro it is playable. With some minor issues. But it is worth it. Plot is amazing, voice acting is a masterpiece. I love this game. Hope to play it someday on ps5.

Would just like to play it without any off-putting visual or sound glitches. Such a shame, as I do love the combat, story and side quests.     PS4 PRO experience: playable now, have less bugs than release date, is possible finish the game without frustration. Still have huge things to add that was promised, but it is a good game with a good story. I still don't recommend buy yet, but you can buy and play from the start to end now.

    Really enjoyed the first run on PS4Pro and now with the PS5 update and my second run it bring a whoie new dimension to the game. Absolutely love the graphical update. The cityscapes look amazing and the whole feel of the game is now much more realistic. Some minor bugs still exist but CDPR seem to be working really hard on getting this to be a the game we all hoped for.

    no repeating types of side missions and really immersive, i really liked how everyone disappeared when i turned around in that one mission it really sold it for me, i also liked how the npcs all were inside different objects and they all t posed it really strengthened the immersion for me

    The bugs are intermittent, but noticeable. In a very early scene V is holding a body across their lap, and the physics didn't like that very much. Most recently I encountered some enemies in an area with some grass, and rather than walk through the grass, they ran across the tips of the grass, that and the old "T" stance shows up every now and then.

    The reality is, now, the game is no worse than a Bethesda RPG, even after its been re-released 5 times. The problem is the over promising and under-delivering. Cyberpunk 2077 is the epitome of over ambition, and it needed another couple of years in the oven.

    I endeavor to finish, hopefully more than once. There's an amazing game here with some really special ideas and for $NZ36.00 I don't think you can go wrong.    … Expand

    Grafica; su PlayStation 5 è ottima, mai riscontrato problemi di una certa gravità, ma personalmente a me questo aspetto interessa poco.

    one of the best storyline in a game. i played this game on day one. def got many bugs and crash, but they do deliver the greatness. its not comparable with rdr2 but its still great. i hope they learn this lesson to make better quality games in the future. well done cdproject!

    I don't understand you whining people. The game is great, much better than the best assassin. Brilliant atmosphere. The graphics are elegant and run smoothly (ps5). The plotline is mindblowing. The attention to detail is sometimes even offensive - look at the NPSs glasses or shoes ... Humor is also fun in some places (the AI boss of a taxi corporation is a masterpiece).

    If you treat the game as a GTA-style sandbox where you just drive & shoot carnage. Sorry. This is not what CP2077 is about. This is not a game for players like that.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
