    720p 15-20 frames is actually unplayable. The jitter is sickening. Load times are ridiculous. LOD pop-in and texture filtering is horrendous.

    It was my first pre-purchase in 26 years and I can guarantee it will be the last. Well, Cyberpunk is a beautiful game, but poorly optimized, unfinished and buggy.
    Before entering Night City the game is a beauty, I didn't find any performance problems or bugs. The problem starts inside the city, where the performance fluctuates more than the priest in the balloon, the city is killed and    It was my first pre-purchase in 26 years and I can guarantee it will be the last. There is no police chase. The police have teleportation and the craft system is bad and not rewarding.

    I don’t know what CDPR were smoking when they thought to deceive customers by hiding the abysmal condition of the PS4 version of Cyberpunk. It feels like there should be a decent game in there somewhere, but I can’t find it beneath the countless bugs, performance issues and incessant crashing.

    It's not about if YOU like/enjoy the game. It's about CDPR promising one game, then taking pre-orders and delivering a different game. This game is missing so many promised features it's unrecognisable. Almost no one cares about the bugs, but we really should! Are your standards really that low? Wouldn't you be more happy if the Developer would actually test and release the game when it'sIt's not about if YOU like/enjoy the game. It's about CDPR promising one game, then taking pre-orders and delivering a different game. This game is missing so many promised features it's unrecognisable. Almost no one cares about the bugs, but we really should! Are your standards really that low? Wouldn't you be more happy if the Developer would actually test and release the game when it's ready and not just because it's Golden Hour of the year to get most money? Then scramble to fix it later? They lied to Sony and Microsoft about the state of the game on the current gen consoles. It's simply fraud. If you like the game as it is, - great! Please, just take a step back and understand that this game you love is only 5/10 of what it was meant to be, you're basically denying yourself an even better game by kissing CDPRs ass and saying that they did a good job. They didn't.

    This multibillion company lied to you and you should not take it lightly. Spend few minutes on the internet and research how they have mistreated their developers. I love Witcher games as much as everyone else but CDPR unfortunately are no longer the good guys they said they were. Vote with your wallet, ask for a refund if you can.     I started out enjoying the game despite the bugs. Honestly this game should probably not have been released for PS4 in this state and I feel duped. But the game needs real polish beyond the bugs. The biggest things are just really poor AI. Like it’s not good. A gunshot goes off and nods don’t run they just cower in fear forever. The enemy AI is also poor and enemies from different factionsI started out enjoying the game despite the bugs. Honestly this game should probably not have been released for PS4 in this state and I feel duped. But the game needs real polish beyond the bugs. The biggest things are just really poor AI.     Crashes and bugs within a half hour of play time without fail. Despite bugs and crashes, it is also just not very enjoyable. Plays like a Farcry game, but worse, with ideas ripped from other MMOs that don't really make as much sense in this game like crimes in progress which they clearly just ripped from Spiderman without any concern of how it would actually fit into the world. No amount of bugfixing or DLC can make this game good. It is easily one of the worst RPGs I have ever played.… Expand

    Playing on the PS5 the game started out well but after the introduction I quickly realized how unfinished and unpolished the game was. I had enough crashes and distracting bugs to disappoint me completely but I have a larger gripe, the level of filth! I like enjoy the opposite sex but the filth in this game is jarring.     Game crashes,even on ps4 pro frame rate can drop to 15 fps and they showed all the demos on PC,when they were making this game in 2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 there was no ps5 or xsx.     - The movement is often blocked after quickly opening the map or the inventory
    - There are scenes in which a death can no longer be avoided due to an auto-save
    - There are different places where you fall through the world

    The story itself is good, even if it is a bit short, but the side quests and the map itself are really good. If the game gets better with the patches, the price is justified - currently not.

    I recommend playing the game on the PS5 or on a good PC where everything is much more fun.    … Expand

    I created an account just to rate the game on ps4. I count 25h on it so I already think that I had time to see for myself and gave it a chance. Not going to say anything that was not already said in 2020. The game has an amazing potential and feels attractive for its story. But releasing a version like this.. Buggy to the core, it's to wonder what cdpr did in those past 5 to 6 years.I created an account just to rate the game on ps4.     My first review, and this game is a sample of everything wrong with industry. Worse release, deception and game performance ever. Cant play for more than 15 mins before a crash occurs. I hope i get my refund but regardless, never again will i trust a gaming company.

    One word: disappointment. CDPR promised so much for this game, complex NPCs, fashion choices, meaningful day-night cycle, and much more. They couldn't deliver on any of it. Not only could they not deliver on promises, they couldn't make a functional game on last-gen consoles. I've crashed 12 times in 20 hours of gameplay, absolutely unacceptable. Textures take upwards of 20 seconds to load in at times, D-pad takes 10 presses to accept a phone call or pull up your menus, there are random holes in the map that if you make the unfortunate mistake of hitting will send you into a loop of crashing your car and being unable to exit. This game isn't what was promised. The game, however, does have one redeeming quality, which is the story and the characters. The main story is compelling, and makes you want to play more, the side quests are meaningful and interesting and contain fun characters that I really enjoy. I've considered refunding the game, but I do want to finish the story and do more of the side quests, so I think I'll hold onto it. If you haven't yet purchased the game and are considering it, I would stay steer away from it for at least 3 months. Overall, this game let me and thousands of others down in the worst way. I know that CDPR was being very ambitious with this game, and that they might not be able to deliver on everything they mentioned, but I at least expected a comfortably playable game, they couldn't even deliver on that.… Expand

    Can’t believe I bought into the hype. It’s the first and last game I will ever pre-order. I knew something was wrong then moment gameplay started. It hurt my eyes to play. Even if it looked good, this is not an open world RPG. Everything is a lie. And honestly, it probably deserves a 0

    Ставлю 9. Игру вообще могли не выпустить на пс4. Я же наиграл на слимке 55 часов. Игрой доволен. Сюжет увлекательный, атмосфера этого города будущего отличная, прокачка имплантов также интересна. Из багов наблюдалось множественные непрогрузки текстур, которые с патчами никак не пофиксились, какая-то зернистость на любой поверхности тоже не исправлена, вылетать игра перестала, на 1.03Ставлю 9. Игру вообще могли не выпустить на пс4. Я же наиграл на слимке 55 часов. Игрой доволен. Сюжет увлекательный, атмосфера этого города будущего отличная, прокачка имплантов также интересна.     Los que compramos el juego de salida en las plataformas de anteriores generación sabemos que este "juego" Se debería hacer desde cero para que se convierta en lo que debería aver sido. No obstante, le puntuó con 1 por eso mismo y no Con 0, ya que he de decir que el sistema de armas y su variedad está muy bién.

    Awful graphic that looks like PS3 game. 15-20 FPS in a city. Dropped the game after 4 hours, result: only negative emotions + headache because of blurred image. Game is a mess on base PS4 for now. Wait for the patches.

We should've known something was up when they didn't allow game journalists to showcase any of their own gameplay regardless of device prior to release.     -Illusion of choice with dialogue. You have one optional dialogue option which will just lead you back to one or two story progressing dialogue options which have the same outcome. No way to craft your V into who you want, female V has more personality than male V. -Lack of customization. There are no options to change the body type of your V.     -Lack of customization. There are no options to change the body type of your V. No sliders, all features are presets. Lacking a wider variety of colors. No further in game customization, once you pick your V in the beginning you’re stuck with that. No barbers, no tattoo shops, no plastic surgeons.

    -No transmog. You can’t style your V how you like because stats are tied to wearing specific clothing. You have to look like a clown to have good stats.

    -Feels like a looter shooter, not a well thought out RPG. Crafting is useless, you just pick up new weapons with slightly higher stats. There’s no reason to upgrade weapons for measly .5% improvements in stats when you can just pick up something better on the ground. You can’t feel attached to weapons or certain play styles as you cycle through new weapons quickly with no incentive to invest in more creative methods for dealing with situations. Most situations are most easily dealt with by just blasting your way through. Stealth is horrible, and there’s little incentive to hack and sneak your way through a situation.

    -Way too much random loot. Loot should feel significant or useful at the right time, like before a boss fight. The screen is absolutely cluttered with a comedic amount of loot. It breaks immersion from the story missions, clearing rooms of loot in time sensitive situations. You have to just pick everything up and check it after the mission to see what’s junk and what’s a keeper. -AI of NPCs is among the worst I’ve ever seen. This gets to the heart of why the game is a disappointment. Night City feels dead. NPCs walk around like zombies. They are not interactive. They either say one line, don’t react to your actions, crouch in fear over violent actions, or just despawn or glitch out right in front of you. -Police AI is abysmal. There is NO dynamic driving AI in this game whatsoever. This means cops can’t chase you and can’t search for you or “investigate” like in other games with wanted systems. They simply spawn all around you instantly and start blasting. Kill one person in the middle of the desert? Doesn’t matter, cops are on your ass instantly. Commit a crime at the end of a dead end alley? Cops will spawn behind you at the dead end of the alley. Any dynamic driving or chasing is only done in on the rails story missions.

    -General lack of interactivity with the world. You can’t go shopping, very few vendors. Talks from CDPR about the map being vertical and a lot of places being explorable is a straight up lie. Most doors are locked with nothing behind. Can’t go to the bar and grab a drink, can’t go clubbing, tons of arcade machines everywhere and you can’t play a single one, no mini games in general, can’t grab a bite to eat from street vendors. Exploration isn’t rewarding, there is no “finding your favorite little spot”.

    -Driving isn’t fun or responsive and other NPCs can’t drive dynamically. If their path is blocked, they can’t go around and simply pile up behind and then despawn. -Combat isn’t fun. Enemies are bullet sponges, it’s not fun shooting a simple enemy 10 times in the head. It feels like it’s to drag out battles longer instead of making them more fun or dynamic. There is not a “wide variety of ways to approach a situation”, in the end you’re just blasting enemies and it starts to feel like a mediocre FPS. There are not enough RPG elements to make up for this. Notice, CDPR stopped marketing this as an RPG a while ago, it seems likely that a lot of RPG content was cut. They are now marketing it as “An open world action-adventure game”. The game doesn’t look or play how we were advertised that it would. There is nothing gritty, or alive about Night City. CDPR knew this game would run poorly on consoles so they didn’t allow review copies to be sent out for consoles. They didn’t allow PC reviewers to use their own footage, only allowing b-roll and promotional footage to be used in reviews. They knew they were releasing a poor product. Reviewers got death threats when they reviewed the game poorly, so I don’t blame professional reviewers for giving high scores.

    I wanted so bad to have fun playing this game, I tried. I didn’t even bring up all the bugs and glitches! There are so many fundamental problems with this game even without all the bugs. I looked forward to this game for two and a half years, but I didn’t have unrealistic expectations. I went in with an open mind and didn’t listen to launch day backlash. I tried to make the game my own and let myself get immersed in it, but it just never clicked. Everything in this game, other games do better.    … Expand

    I'm not going to give a protest score of 0. There are some redeemable qualities in CP2077, but they're almost impossible to see past the the bugs, glitches and poor console optimization. If CDPR put as much effort into optimization, polish and fleshing out the game's systems/mechanics as they did in marketing it, there might be a 9/10 or 8/10 game in here somewhere.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
