Your dialogues don't change s**t: game Is ending in the same place. Story Is modest and short: 20hours or so to complete It.     I was looking forward to this game for years, and it was surrealistic when it finally arrived. Although the first two hours was a mixed experience, it just went downhill when getting into Night City. The framerate is bad, the random spawning of police, the gamebreaking crashes, the npc's with one liners, the objects that take 5-10 seconds to load, and the non-interacting city just killedI was looking forward to this game for years, and it was surrealistic when it finally arrived. The framerate is bad, the random spawning of police, the gamebreaking crashes, the npc's with one liners, the objects that take 5-10 seconds to load, and the non-interacting city just killed the experience. I have never played a new game that I gave up on after 8-10 hours, but this one. And I played Alpha Protocol on release. CD Project Red only released this game in this condition so the last generation ps and Xbox owners bought the game as the userbase is so large. My hopes that the developers can fix this mess is neglible small.
    This is the last time I will buy a game from CD Project Red on release, or support them in any way.    … Expand

    Advertising of the game with videos that do not correspond at all to reality. The game is unplayable: full of graphics and physics bugs, offbeat sounds in conversations, graphically reduced for the machine, a lot of slowdowns and drops in frame rate. A total disrespect towards the players considered as cash cows. This game should never have been released.

    Everything has already been said but I played this (up to 1.04) on a PS4 Pro and the quality was horrible. The game would crash about twice every hour and the FPS gave me headaches. It was so blurry and choppy that I could not play it for an extended time. Next to all the bugs the AI and overall mechanics were horrible. I know other developers (Rockstar) have way more experience with this but come on, everyone that plays this sees the intern level of AI that was created.

    I might have been able to complete the game if it was not for all the Bugs. The story is acceptable for how much I played and I really, really wanted to get into the game properly. It was just impossible to be emerged into this game due to all the issues.

    I also had issues with my HDR television; turning on HDR in the game made everything so dark that it was almost impossible to see NPCs/enemies. I was able to adjust certain settings and make it acceptable but I don't want to spent time changing settings on my TV to make a AAA game look proper.

    I wish I had a high end PC available to be able to enjoy and play this game. I requested a refund from Sony.    … Expand

    Struggled to play this extremely buggy game for 2 hours before my PS4 Slim crashed. When I turned my PS4 back on I was met with a black screen instructing me to insert a USB with a software update downloaded. Doing this completely wipes all data on the PS4. After exhausting all other options, I had to erase all of my data. My Playstation hasn't been the same since. Now my PS4 is superStruggled to play this extremely buggy game for 2 hours before my PS4 Slim crashed.     Bought it for ($90 CDN) on my PS4, not the pro version. Did not run as advertised. It did not meet any of my expectations that CDPR had created with their advertising. Unfortunately I had to return it but at least I got to experience the worst “Triple A” game of 2020

    Registered just to write a review. I'm going to ignore the bugs because people are too focused on that. It's a huge, beautiful city with open badlands to explore, but nothings there. I went to a compound before a story quest, and no one was there, I could get all the loot there but it was empty. Any journal could be swapped with most other side quests and it wouldn't matter.

    V is a gun for hire for any gang. The police are in essence a gang too, paid off and shady. And it's in the story. I came across cop's shooting civilians, and the diary shard said they were being followed by people dressed like cops. But nothing comes of it, you can't fight cops, more cops just teleport to you. There's no crime/bounty system, anything is okay to do, just don't hurt cops or a civilian, you can rob them but if you push them 5 cops will teleport to you.

    The perks are busted. Crafting makes it so you can craft things, then scrap it for more material you start with. Cyberhacking makes it so you one shot groups of people with a glance on very hard mode.

    Stealth is off, you'll be spotted through walls, enemies will be alerted forever for some reason, and if you toss a grenade from 3 blocks or take a shot from a mile, they know exactly where it came from. I can buy that if someone see's you everyone automatically sees you because they're cybernetically linked, but if that's the case, they'd also be aware if you took them down quietly.

    I like the diversity in weapons, but for the unique weapons/shards/armor you have to either look it up, or do every quest, and there usually 5 in a given 100 meter spot and a dozen on a path from one point to another, so you have no idea what you should do and there's no indicators what quests have gear or extremely valuable perk shards.

    And my main grip is looking like a freaking clown. The perk unlocking legendary gear in crafting is one set of gear, a racing jump suit with heels, and pool goggles, great, but it has incredibly valuable mod slots that increase armor by 200 or crit by 15% so I can't pass that up. But every time I come into the menu I have to freaking look at it. I hate it, I freaking hate it.

    The romance options bugged, me. It turned out everyone I liked you couldn't flirt with and I had one option, and if I chose a masculine voice for my V, which I almost did, I would have had no options.

    I felt like I didn't have many options. Like some missions might play out one way or another, But others just have black and white choices, like delivering a corpo intern to a gang, or not. You can't talk to the corpo then talk to the gang. You can't deliver the car then kill the gang, collect the reward, then kill them and the release the corpo. It's just this, or that. A lot of quests shake down like that. And non-lethal or lethal didn't seem to matter, I'd go non lethal and get to the end and the mini boss wouldn't talk cause I massacred everyone, then I want stealth and he said the same thing, and then I used a non-lethal take down, and the dialogue later just said I killed him anyway. So it didn't seem to matter what I did. At most non lethal got you a little bonus from police gigs and some other things.

    And even after all that, I still like it. It's just a bad game and fixing bugs won't change that. They need mechanic and quest updates to give more depth to the game and fix AI. The main story is good and the main characters are well done, if it was marketed as an on rails linear game like Deus Ex I would have liked it a lot better. Because with a good story with good cast it makes the flatness of everything else extremely obvious.

    Could you imagine if Jensen had the pressing story to do, but he was fighting muggers and racing? That's how it feels with V, you're a god tier merc who is literally dying, and you're taking gigs to drive people around or checking in on a gang leaders neighbor or something.    … Expand

    As usual PS4 players get scammed by the devs. All of the footage used to scam everyone into pre purchasing the game is high end PC footage. Lighting and textures in this game are terrible, Deus Ex Mankind Divided looks better and that was released in 2016. Switching guns, hands go into the position but it takes 3 or 4 seconds for the gun to appear. The game has been crashing my PS4 Pro

The truth is that Cyberpunk 2077 is a PS4/XONE game that cannot be played on those consoles. So if you purchased the game and do not have a next gen console then f*ck you. This is really not cool.

    The way the game is running on last gen consoles is beyond ridiculous and I don't think there are enough patches to optimize a game for a hardware that just cannot live up to CDPR standards. Even if they patch it to exhaustion, the PS4/XONE ports will still be a mess.

The graphics are nothing special (though I understand there is a lot of pop-in and slow texture loading on the base PS4) and the sound requires a lot of tinkering in the settings menu to get to an acceptable level. I found myself cringing for my neighbor's sake when the game would inexplicably blast heavy bass in background music, enough to rattle furniture, despite other sound elements being at a normal level.

    It's not all bad. The story is interesting, and the voice acting is good. The gameplay systems are fun, even though some of the RPG elements appear designed to force the player into crafting their character into a min-max archetype. Certain perks and abilities require that you invest heavily into their associated stat, which could be good or bad. You also contend with both experience points and "street cred" points, which is odd, considering that you typically get both in equal measure.

    Having said that, some of the systems don't seem to have been fully fleshed out. There is a crafting system, but not much to craft. By the time you can afford decent crafting plans and materials, you will be finding gear that is as good or better than you can make. You can earn crafting xp, which grants various bonuses as you level up, but without a good reason to craft, it's just another number to watch increase. Tutorials could have also been better. I was several hours in before I realized that I had items I could slot into my various cyber implants.

    Overall, I would usually say give this one a few months to get the bugs ironed out. However, this game has been in the making for years. That this is what they have to show for all those years of work does not create confidence that the devs will be able to polish this one to an acceptable level. If you must play it, wait a few months. I expect spring '21 will see this one at half price.    … Expand

    Don’t buy C2077 on PS4/One... these versions look atrocious from PS3 graphics wise to tons of bugs... CDPR should be ashamed and sued for having hide those versions and worse, CDPR boss said before that last gen ports were running good... pure lies !!!!

    Unplayable on PS4 and low res, muddy washed out graphics on PS5. A bug riddled, glitchy, crash fest on both systems. CDPR flushed all the trust and faith I had in them down the toilet. No Mans Sky released in a better state than this.

They should have been honest and delayed console versions until the game could be optimized at least to some reasonable level (and don't tell me this is impossible given how fantastic games like Ghosts of Tsushima, RDR2, TLOU2 look on PS4!).....or simply canceled outright, if it was clear that the game would NEVER be able to run in a viable state on last gen consoles (this gen being PS5 and Xbox Series S/X)

    Deliberately misleading consolers just to buff out your launch numbers is utterly pathetic. So far beneath what we expected from this developer. Way to go, CD PR!     This is the most brazen exploitation of consumers by a video game brand I've ever seen. CDProjektRed's recent refund offer is bogus, Sony is just flat out refusing refunds on what can only be described as a completely unplayable game on PS4. It's a disgusting money grab, they have stolen $59.99 from me that I will never get back - avoid at absolutely all costs.

    Господи, почему нельзя было сделать нормальную оптимизацию? Вчера купил себе ps5 и сразу киберпук. Я познал мыло не оптимизированной игры и постоянные вылеты. За что я заплатил деньги? Если в течении пары недель не выйдет патч который все это дело будет фиксить и делать нормальную графику на ps5, я дропну эту игру и пойду играть в вальгалу.Господи, почему нельзя было сделать нормальную оптимизацию? Give the game another month to marinate and this thing will be ready for the masses. The game is 720p and 20fps with patch 1.04, which is unacceptable, it looks blurry and the low frame rate makes it almost unplayable, just look at the tables and walls of the bar at the very beginning, most of those textures are like 144pI give the game 1 because it has a very good packaging.     The game running on a PS4 Pro with a hybrid hdd/ssd is still a loading nightmare. I will literally watch a 10 second cut scene, wait a minute or two of loading for the next short scene and then watch another loading screen begin. If it weren't so constant I would laugh about it.

I will literally watch a 10 second cut scene, wait a minute or two of loading for the next short scene and then watch another loading screen begin. If it weren't so constant I would laugh about it.

    Bugs and glitches can be hilarious. This game takes that to the next level. There are so many bugs and weird glitches that I cannot even fathom how many I have ran into so far; it is that bad. At least a hundred different experiences in a weekend play-through and around 10 complete crashes. No game in the last decade compares to this lack of finish, other than AC Unity, that I recall. Some broken moments are funny, but most are just annoying game crashing and removes you from the immersion immediately. What I find really odd, and cannot ever remember happing before, is when my detailed settings will change, and not just to a default but a seemingly random choice I would have never made, for example, specific gamma settings for 1080, though I chose HDR to being with. Very meta of them indeed as I am almost paranoid that this is all part of the experience and by the end we will all by M Knight Shamalan'd by the devs.

    The visual quality changes at random, in all aspects. This doesn't seem to depend on the area, whether in doors or outside, night, day, etc. The quality just changes all the time and my screenshots look like a few different games at all times. The sound is probably the most spot on aspect of Cyberpunk. I have only seen a few overlaid conversations and moments where the lips of the person talking did not move or match the words they were speaking. However, subtitles will pop up randomly and will have to be toggled manually in settings before they go away again.

    The game is still fun somehow and I still want to dive in, despite its unfinished state. I wish I was the type of person to be able to wait 6 months or a year to play it in its hopefully finished state but alas, we are all playing the Cyberpunk 2077 2021 demo.    … Expand

    I waited 8 years for this game and I was not disappointed despite some bugs on the premiere day. Firecracker 10/10!

    On the other hand, I was really disappointed by Deus Ex: Mankind Divided which I consider being a cyberpunk game but actually it wasn't...

    It's good that Cyberpunk 2077 met my expectations!!!

    Incredible game. Runs just fine on my ps4 slim from 3 years ago. Games are not about graphics but about gameplay and stories. I can spend hours on this game and forget about real life. I will play it again on ps5 choosing nomad and corpo. If you care about frames per second and stuff like that just wait and buy it in a few months when the patches will fix it or play it on next gen consoles

    Es increíble lo mal que corre, me ha crasheado más de 5 veces y llevo solo 1 hora de juego.
    Suerte tuvieron y fueron bien pilas en lanzar el juego junto a PS5, imaginate si solo hubiese salido en PS4 y XBOX ONE, la compañía se acaba.

    Clearly, not a game made for PS4 (basic), I played a few hours and I can not anymore. I have the feeling to play the first tomb raider game where everything was a polygon. Even GTA V or Horizon Zero Dawn has better graphics than this game released in 2020...

    Don't buy and don't play this game on PS4, it will be a bad experience.

    The only thing to do: to wait for the real release on PS5!

Any game released 10 years ago looks better than this game, there are a lot of bugs, fps drops, extreme popping... Honestly, don´t buy this game. The disappointment of the generation unndoubtedly.

    Just throwing in my 2 star review. I want to love the game on PS4 but I can’t. Absolute corporate greed (ironic given the themes of the game)! The game runs horrifically on PS4, it feels about 70% finished, with no polish.

    I heavily regret pre-ordering this and feel like there should be legal action (or change in legislation) to prevent this predatory, false marketing practice. Never again.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
