Apr 13, 2018An interesting adaptation of the Planet of the Apes franchise to VR, based in great motion controls in climbing and shooting. On the other side, adventure side is too simple, it is less than two hours long, and you won´t find many reasons to replay it.

Playstation Official Magazine UKMay 21, 2018At just over two hours Crisis is short. [June 2018, p.80]

Apr 9, 2018If you love the Apes movies, this is a lovely little VR tie-in, and if you're looking for your next VR kick, I'd definitely give this a go.
-
Apr 9, 2018Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR is not a game that will leave a lasting impression with its brief play time and some unnatural feeling controls but the climbing works well and the gunplay brings back memories of light gun games.
-
Apr 9, 2018Crisis accomplished its goal of immersing me in the role, even if some of the more brilliant ape interactions were one-off moments rather than regularly used mechanics. Sadly, this brilliant immersion is hampered by dull environments, enemy encounters that become boring, and a fairly weak story that requires the films in order to mean much.
-
Apr 13, 2018The concept actually isn’t too bad and is supported by mainly immersive controls. Nonetheless the execution is mostly superficial while the pacing is underwhelming.
-
Apr 10, 2018If the feeling of being an ape is well-delivered in Crisis on the Planet of the Apes, the game suffers from many technical issues like tracking problems and motion sickness - inducing framerate. The level design is simplistic and the few intense moments won't be enough to turn the game into a good memory.
