Jun 3, 2018From poor FPS sequences to dull climbing sections or ridiculous moving phases, the developers of Crisis of the Planet of the Apes show a lack of inspiration and never seem to feel comfortable with their own game.

Apr 21, 2018It's a game without a purpose. VR can be a great medium if you have the right idea, but this is not the case. If you are a big fan of the franchise, you might enjoy it, but if not, there are better options out there.

Apr 24, 2018I’d talk about the game’s graphics and expand on the discussion of using VR to expand on the Planet of the Apes mythos but right now? I just don’t care anymore. I'm so frustrated thinking about all the problems that made this game so miserable to play that I’m done. Don’t play this game or, if you have to, wait for a sale. Damn you, Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR. Damn you all to hell.

Apr 11, 2018Crisis on the planet of the Apes VR is a poor game. Despite some good ideas like the cover system or the monkey movements, the controls are not accurate, the gameplay is just average, and the story is far from the best ever told.
-
Apr 11, 2018Clumsy, superficial, and in many ways fundamentally broken, Crisis On the Planet of the Apes is an often infuriating VR game that plays like a bad arcade rail shooter from the early ‘90s. Far from reaching the artistic heights of the rebooted film series in whose world it takes place, it takes a silly, action-heavy approach to the material that doesn’t respect your intelligence.
-
Apr 4, 2018The apes look pleasantly simian, and it’s nice observing conversations from behind the small visible portion of your hairy forearms, but these are small beacons of light in an otherwise unremittingly bleak landscape.
