    It is a masterpiece. Truly fascinating story and setting reminds me of Twin Peaks, Half-Life and Prey. 10/10 and I will definitely buy any DLC or sequel because ... its just one of the best games I ever played.

The game is just so fun, interesting and something that feels so fresh to get in 2019. A uniquely crafted, very well thought out, action game that doesn't dumb down its audience.

    I love this game. I don't think it's for everybody. It does have narrative issues, and the ending is incredibly anticlimactic (hoping that the DLC will fix this issue and pad the game out more) but for what it is, a very tight supernatural third-person shooter it truly is amazing.

    This game is absolutely amazing! One of the best Jedi games ever made. Just the destruction alone is hours of fun. Not to mention how crazy the story is along with the well spoken dialog, tons of hidden backstory you can find littered all throughout the game. And did I mention you're basically a Jedi with a gun? Hands down my game of 2019. 10/10!

    The game is everything I was hoping for and more. It is truly a unique masterpiece on par with or even better than Alan Wake. The writing, the atmosphere, the plentiful minute details... I knew Remedy would deliver.

Появившиеся битвы с боссами неплохо разнообразили игру, хотя в финале, лично мне, какого то именно сложного сражения не хватило, но тут энд гейм неплохо дополнил музыкальный автомат с экспедициями, где за непростое испытание дают в награду клевый костюм.

    Control is full of mysteries and weirdness. That's what makes it so unique, is its own brand of weird. The world is so rich with lore and you're sort of thrust into the middle of it, without much exposition. You get pieces of the story as you go.

    The gameplay is solid. The weapons and abilities are satisfying. And seeing enemies and the environment blow up around you is constantly    Control is full of mysteries and weirdness.     I honestly can not recommend this game enough. As someone who has played every remedy game (except quantum break as do not have an xone, will play it one day!) I enjoyed it thoroughly. The amount of lore is crazy and it’s all so well thought out intertwines in certain ways with past works.... game is incredible. Also I don’t think I’ve seen a game show what it would be like to haveI honestly can not recommend this game enough. As someone who has played every remedy game (except quantum break as do not have an xone, will play it one day!) I enjoyed it thoroughly.     Loved this game, so different to the usual boring shooters out there. The story is so deep and weird but I still loved it, creeped me out a lot but in a good way. It is a little difficult in bits but the challenge is good and makes you think about your tactics... and the puzzles are awesome, again a little difficult but you can work them out. Loved the gameplay too. Had the odd framerateLoved this game, so different to the usual boring shooters out there.     Great game, technical after a lot of patches perfectly stable , amazing story, great fight machanics, really long playtime and lots of side quests .

    Game was brilliant, intriguing story, and a blast to play. The power orientated gameplay was refreshing and didn't get old, provided enough challenge to keep me engaged. Played on a base PS4, at time of writing some issues with frame rate, but did not hamper my enjoyment overall. Definitely worth a play.

    This is the best game I've played in well over a decade, and it might be my favorite game of all time. The story is the key, and the way it is presented (and how it works its way into how the game is played) is nothing short of masterful. I'm not even kidding when I say that the story is so good it kinda haunted my dreams. I'm not usually a third-person game guy, but it really works well in Control. No problems with the camera, etc. and when I got wiped out, I always felt that it was because of some flaw in how I was playing the game, not the game punishing me unfairly.

    I can't say enough good things about this game. I want more people to play it so that they make enough money to make a sequel. This is expert game-making at its pinnacle. The story will completely bend your mind (if you're paying attention). Play this game if you want to tear into a game like you would a book; this is not the kind of game (in my opinion) that you just want to "get through." Play it with headphones on if you can, and I think you will find, as I did, that you can really only play for an hour or two at a time before you need to put it down and think about what you just experienced. Read the through the in-game lore and remember it. It all ties together in a pretty kick-ass way.

    Love, love, love this game. My other favorites are the Bioshock and Fallout series, so maybe that will give you some insight into my preferences. This game is just... it's really freaking good. Can't recommend it enough if you are a patient, story-driven kind of gamer.    … Expand

Check out the YouTube reviews for a more accurate reflection of its quality - almost unanimous 9/10s and 10/10s. “Control” is easily Remedy’s best game since Max Payne.     I was playing on PS4 Pro and indeed the framerate was struggling at some of the most dense battles, but that only occurred a couple of times. An inevitable problem, given how much technology was packed here.
    Other than that, it's an incredible Remedy game. People saying that there are plotholes or that the story is bad either have no imagination or didn't pay attention to what was going on and those details mentioned. This game isn't gonna feed you its stroy with a spoon, a lot of things you'll need to figure out yourself, but that's what I was expecting from the Remedy game and I got what I wanted. A tale filled with mysteries and suspense.
    Gameplay is equally good. Control has a really polished battle system that will keep you entertained during the whole game and even a little bit after that. The technology paked into it helps a lot as well. The destructable environments and superb physics make sure every fight looks and feels spectacular.
    The pacing is also pretty good. Both in story and gameplay. The progression is pretty smooth overall. Btw, I recommend tackling some side quests, as they contain some of the coolest and most interesting things in the game.
    All in all, if you liked previous Remedy game this should be a must-buy for you. And if you're looking for a game with mysteries and secrets throughout it and ready to use your brain to piece together some of the parts yourself, then I highly recommend it.    … Expand

    I personally found this to be an amazing game. I admit I am weighted to favor games with a good story, which this has - but I also loved the structure of the game, and the combat where you can use a variety of techniques to bring down enemies.

I will also admit that some boss fights can seem very frustrating, but almost every time if you change up how you play through the area you can find an easier way to win through.

    I think it says a lot I tool the effort to platinum this game, very few games hold my interest enough to spend that time playing. This one I found some particular segments so fun to play, I plan to play through again...

    Also a shout out for GREAT music selection. Search online for playlists of music used in the game. If you are even a casual fan of metal you will love some parts of this game.

    The visuals and themes in this game are intense. The gameplay is somewhat shallow, and sometimes the enemy AI can be dumb, but the story and visuals so far make up for it. Im having a blast coming back to it.

    This is the best game of 2019 for me so far. It is a great gift for all gamers who love "The X-Files", "SCP Foundation" and "Alan Wake". It really breaks my heart to see that this game get negative reviews from people who have don't understand the concept of this game. I'm sure, this game will become cult and "Hidden Gem" status in the future.

    Interesting mix of brutal architecture (which is rarely seen in games) and intricate level design, mystery atmosphere without attempt to make any common sense (which is great), variaty of characters (serious, funny, enigmatic), music and many more elements makes this game unique. And delicate sense of humor delivers enormously.

    Can't get enough of the world. Expect a challenge. It's not an easy game, and you gotta think to even begin to put it all together. But some of the gameplay moments are some of the best I've played, despite the frustration. I'm calling for playing this on the PS5 as well, when those load times are instant then hot diggidy damn. I will be replaying this.

    Great game! Don't read the 0/10 reviews, they're nonsense. Great story & atmosphere, gunplay & sounds are amazing! gameplay at first is ok but opens up pretty quickly & you'll get more powers! VERY FUN! only issue I encountered is some fps drops when there's too much going on, but other than that, great game!

    So far i'm really enjoying Control. The setting is pretty unique and it changes in interesting ways. There are some cool setpieces built in as well which will change your location.
    The gunplay is fun too but the powers are the area in which this game stands out. The lack of a cover system is probably the biggest departure from past remedy titles.

    I wouldn't listen to the babies downvoting this game. I assume most of them are doing it because the game is a timed exclusive on the epic store. A lot of games seem to get downvoted for that reason these days unfortunately.

The set up of a secret Government office building full of weird stuff that acts as a quasi-Metroidvania of sorts is brilliant and fascinating. The story is a perfect blend of pulp and mystery that is both deeply engaging and straight up fun to explore. Gameplay is about as perfect as a 3rd person Shooter can get. Between aControl is quite simply the best game Remedy has ever made. The set up of a secret Government office building full of weird stuff that acts as a quasi-Metroidvania of sorts is brilliant and fascinating. The story is a perfect blend of pulp and mystery that is both deeply engaging and straight up fun to explore. Gameplay is about as perfect as a 3rd person Shooter can get. Between a Shape-shifting auto-recharging gun and a plethora of powers that are fun and intuitive, you always have an option for any situation. While the story will pull you through the campaign, the side missions and frankly just the weird stuff you find makes exploring practically its own campaign. It’s been a long time since a game has so thoroughly hooked me into its universe and mechanics. I think about it constantly and am constantly surprised. It may have a couple rough edges, especially for original PS4 and Xbox owners, but it is absolutely worth it.     So graphics are stellar. Music and sound is good , as voice acting great. Brilliant gun sounds. Special mention for cool videos throughout.

    The gameplay is solid. Really fun and creative. So much fun. Action pact as well as interesting story.

    The game lasts about 12 - 20 hrs depending on your play style. Proper single player campaign in 2019.

    Remedy has done it again. Max Payne, Alan wake and more and now Control.

    Can't stress how good this game is but....the beginning is slow and confusing. So give it a chance. By the end you're literally the most badass super hero fighting the xfiles! The ps4 digital dlc is ok. But should be free to all. Support great games.    … Expand

    An incredible balance between enjoyable combat and exploration set in one of the most unique and refreshing locations I have ever seen. Cannot recommend this game more. if you are a fan of story driven games with simple but open and enjoyable combat this is absolutely a must buy.

    i had no expectations for this game, quantum break wasn't that good so i wasn't exited at all by the monocromatic look of working office at first glance.     Great game. Beautiful graphics, very interesting and different plot, the raytracing stuff is awesome on my 2080 TI FE. fighting mechanic are gorgeous, fun, and a big spectacle. Highly recommend if you liked quantum break.

    The world building is great with some really interesting lore and characters. The lore is delivered in an entertaining way through notes, memos but mostly through video logs left by a charismatic scientist. Oh and the soundtrack is pretty great too.

    The game is pretty tough, so if you aren't very good at third person shooters you might struggle later on in the game when you hit a couple of major difficulty spikes. However, the challenge is worth fighting through as it's very rewarding when you finally beat that pesky boss you've been stuck on by learning it's patterns and figuring out different ways to counter it's attacks.

    I highly recommend this game to anyone that is looking for a challenging, immersive, beautiful and well designed video game with a compelling story.    … Expand

    This is a very unique very well made game from all aspects. Remedy made an excellent job. Fantastic voice acting and animations, mysterious interesting story, amazing super powers. I'd wish for less spongy enemies but that's just my preference. The gameplay is fluid, intuitive, and just feels great. Jesse becomes a bad-ass Jedi over the course of the intriguing story & using her telekinetic powers to summon & launch objects at enemies NEVER ceases to be brutally satisfying. Definitely one of my favorite games of 2019 & the current generation of consoles in general...with one minor flaw: occasional frame-rate drops when fighting an (overcrowded) room full of enemies...but only in certain rooms. It doesn't happen often enough to be much of a problem, as it only tends to occur if/when I haven't finished off at least half of the first wave of enemies before their friends join the party & you acquire offensive upgrades pretty early on, so it sort of 'goes away' before it has much chance to become annoying. It's hard to fault the devs for it though because Control is essentially a next-gen game that pushes current consoles to their limits. Fortunately (for me) I recently upgraded to a PS4 Pro to give my poor old 2nd hand vanilla system a well-earned retirement after it started vomiting discs back at me in the middle of gameplay, so said issue wasn't much of an issue for me at all, but I can clearly see how it could be an immersion-breaking problem for "regular" PS4 & XBoxOne's (no idea about PC's). I experienced Days Gone on both my old & new consoles, but can only judge Control by how well it runs on my upgraded unit, & I have faith in the devs' commitment to optimizing this game because of all the love they clearly put into creating it. Aside from what's essentially a NON-issue for ME, I'm having a ******* blast! I'm taking my sweet-assed time savoring my playthrough & thoroughly enjoying every minute of it, so much so that I bought the season pass when I found out it that it unlocks an amusingky weird, existing side mission, & I'm already looking forward to the 2 promised expansions. Before I stfu, I have to credit the writing. The story is truly unique & interesting, with the added bonus of some darkly humorous gems to be discovered just about everywhere you venture. Solid 10/10 at full price - zero regrets for not waiting for a sale.… Expand

    Control is definately one of the best games in 2019. The game has excellent graphics and it creates a world having supernatural, weird athmosphere that hooks player for hours.     I found the World of the game, which is the Oldest House, really atmospheric and special. The game has this eerie and really unique feel to it, which is like no other game I've played before. I highly recommend this game.

    I don’t want to use the word masterpiece lightly, but what else do you call the combination of gleefully chaotic gameplay with earnest storytelling in a setting as refreshingly unique as Bioshock? What else do you call a combat system that goes so far beyond the simple act of shooting a gun without drilling down into a set of intricate menus and complicated controls? What else do you call darkly malevolent horror that doesn’t feel like it was cribbed from someplace else? What else do you call the crowning achievement of a studio with a unique voice, an uneven track record, and 25 years of experience? If there’s a better word to describe what Remedy has achieved with Control, I can’t think of it.
