Nov 6, 2020Created an account just to say this game runs like @$$ on PS4 Slim. Specifically the Downloadable version if that makes a difference. Heard maybe they're giving free PS5 version upgrades, so there's that I guess.

CD-ActionDec 18, 2020If you haven’t played this great game before, you should, because its combat is still fun as hell, and the atmosphere and overall design are fantastic. The Ultimate Edition is the perfect opportunity to catch up, especially that only this version offers a free upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X. [12/2020, p.49]

Sep 8, 2020In the end, AWE is another solid but lacking chapter of Control. The gameplay is fun, and a fantastic boss in Hartman is introduced. But there’s not much more to it besides that. The new weapon form isn’t necessary, and I’m not even sure it fits in the narrative. There aren’t new abilities, and you’re going to finish AWE pretty quickly. But detractors aside, I got two things I really wanted, more of Alan Wake and more of Control, which is all that really matters. Here’s to hoping the Remedyverse has more of both for us out there.
