    Absolute disgrace. Game is full of lies. Propaganda against Russia is just a shame.
    Some of the story missions are telling us some facts from history but instead of real members of real conflict Activision has put Russians as a biggest evil ever.

    I hate the anti Russian angle but I hate the fact spec ops is total garbage more.

    Bought this game for co op with a friend and it's awful. No scoreboard or unlocks. No reason to replay missions and they're so hard it must be broken

These discussions also have influence on Activision and Infinite Ward. YET, you show my country as “The Kingdom of Evil” and my countrymen as slaughterers and sadistic murderers, who only wants to torture and kill innocent civilians, in the most brutal ways. You are just spreading a message to players: “Look at these Russians! We what they’re doing with civilians! They are not normal like us, they are terrorists!”. You even replaced American war crimes with Russian ones (talking about the “Highway of death”). The only positive Russian person in the game is Nikolai, and that’s it (Egor is Ukrainian, according to description).

    Don’t tell us that “it’s both sides of the war” and about those “gray spots” on the protagonist’s side. Their actions in the game are nothing, compared to Barkov’s and the Russian ones! And please don’t tell me that it’s just a game! In the same way, I can say that “Mein Kampf” is just a book. It’s a dirty propaganda against Russia and Russians themselves.

    I’m not a huge patriot of Russia, and I’m not a huge fan of Putin and Russia’s foreign policy, but you must have some sort of respect and tolerance towards your geopolitical enemy...just a little. But it seems that Activision and Infinity Ward don’t take care of that as much as me, so from now I will also not care about CoD-series, and I will stop buying their games. Thank you, developers of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” for that!

    Game has great graphics and customization but for what Everyone uses the m4a1 with the same class and stares out the same window not really using the graphics. It is more real so if you want to get home from work and hop on a game to feel the stress of WAR be my guest but this game is not fun at all.

    I was expecting that this game would be resurrected, but it reached rock bottom. Just wanted to have some fun playing it and instead we got the absolutely propagandic tool, which actually rewrited the US war crime. Russophobic just coming out of the bounds. Thanks for the videos won't buy it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really wanted to play the main story in the new call of duty, but I'm so disappointed about it. The storyline is absolutely horrible and makes no sense. Dumb characters, bad russians (again?) and no motivation for Barkov and the russian army to kill innocent people. They kill everybody because they're just bad russians. That's ridiculous and the game looks like anti-russian propaganda against the whole russian nation. We've seen bad russians before but it was just a regular cliche aka Tom Clancy's arts. Right now that's just racist and absolutely unexplained hatred. Activision promised us "grey morale" and to show that there's no good guys in the war, but at the end of all we got "brown morale" and "brave" americans who saved the whole world. Russians kill children, women, civilians and nobody explained gamers why they do it. Nobody shows how US army or British SAS are involved in war crimes. The only barbarians here are russians. I think the game developers mixed up russian soldiers with nazis.
    (By the way, highway of death is a real place and the US army bombed Iraq's soldiers when they tried to leave Kuwait. Guess what? In Call of Duty Russians bombed innocent people in the cutscene before "Highway of Death" level) Great job Activision, another trashy storyline. R.I.P. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare.

    This is not the Battlefield killer they would like it to be. Don't fall for it, it is still the same game it was 10 years ago. I refunded the game after 2 hours of Piss poor multiplayer.

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
