    Very similar to my fav ps4 cod (back ops 3) but somehow I just couldn't get into it. I think it was mainly the maps that bored me.

    It a was OK but not really groundbreaking. I mean one big thing is that it really didn't seem like a COD game at all being so Sci-fi.

    The action was still good in some parts but got frustrating when they don't tell you how to do certain things.     The story was alright except we never find out why the enemy is trying to take over earth. I was waiting to hear their reasons but was never told. That annoyed me. Also character getting killed didn't effect me in anyway since we never really got invested in them and their deaths just came out of no where.

    The jet sections seem like they would be fun but it was hard to evade anything which end up making it annoying to have to do.

    Multiplayer still has that issue of only being good for run 'n gunners. It was not good for anyone with any other types of play styles.

    Zombie mode......It was interesting with the 80s theme but it's still the same. Keeps going long and gets boring after a while with others yell at you trying to get the high score.

    Overall it was best to rent then buy. I heard some saying it's just like BO3 but I didn't play that. I was not able to try MW remastered and I doubt they will release it separately.    … Expand

    Possibly the best campaign in any CoD yet. Top notch writing, voice acting, level design and art direction. Oh, a some legitimately good sci-fi military story! I'm genuinely surprised with how good this campaign is... But the multi-player is arguably the worst out of any CoD yet though, and since MP is the lifeblood of any CoD game I would recommend just renting Infinite Warfare for thePossibly the best campaign in any CoD yet. Top notch writing, voice acting, level design and art direction. Oh, a some legitimately good sci-fi military story! I'm genuinely surprised with how good this campaign is... But the multi-player is arguably the worst out of any CoD yet though, and since MP is the lifeblood of any CoD game I would recommend just renting Infinite Warfare for the campaign and returning it as the multi-player leaves so much to be desired with its over-reliance on 90 degree choke points, terrible boost jumping spamming, and highly, highly, highly unbalanced gun play with the new gun perk system.… Expand

    -Nice setting
    -Great presentation
    -Gameplay can be fun if you play with friends
    -Only a single map, the other 4 eventually get released if you buy the 50 dollar Season pass.

    Do not play CoD multiplayer, but from a single-player perspective, Infinite Warefare is one of my favourite games ever.

In fact I would dare call this game a lot fun! from the very entertaining story, to the intuitive controls (although I think Titanfall 2 & Halo 5 beat it with smoother controls) Its a very entertaining game, Zombies is awesome as well. The only thing I would complaint about is the health bar! Make it bigger like Halo! Camping is notIts no where near as bad as people are claiming it is!     The last 2 games were surprisingly decent and good. But this one brought it back down for me. I was only interested in the campaign because of Kit Harrington being a huge Game of Thrones fan, and the story was actually decent. But then came the multiplayer which is a complete joke.

    Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare's awfully paced campaign is made up for by good level design, however the multiplayer, while fun has very above average maps with little going on besides combat and weapons that feel painfully similar

    Okay, single player campaign was boring. No amazing plot twists, no humongous discoveries, basically nothing new. It's very pedestrian, which is sad. I played on Veteran, without a walkthrough guide, and it took well over 10 hours to finish it. On easy difficulty it'll probably take 5-6 hours.

    Zombies - I have to admit, I prefer IW zombies to BO3 zombies. But it's still nowhere as fun as either WAW or BO1 zombies, by a mile.

    Multiplayer - this is where I have real issues...

    * Everyone seems to be made of paper - it doesn't matter which gun you use, it takes just a split second to kill someone. At least in BO3, core modes were just that - core, not hardcore. You stood a chance of escaping a gunfight if you were quick. Not so IW - one bullet doesn't graze you, it kills you. This allows noobs to just fire and throw grenades randomly to get cheap kills. Definitely equip Blast Shield to get past the grenade spamming in MP.

    * The Pick 10 system is screwed up. At least in previous CODs, equipping 2 tacticals would use up 2 slots... now it uses 3 slots.

    * There seem to be fewer scorestreaks, and none of them are exciting (BO3's RAPS were great fun).

    * As for the wall-running and thrust jumping, I don't have an issue with that. It started in AW, then improved upon in BO3. IW's is smooth, but I feel it's better implemented in BO3.

    * All in all, MP is nowhere near as fun as in BO3 (or MWr for that matter). Maybe I'm biased, but Treyarch did MP much better. Heck, even AW had better MP because it was beginner-friendly (you could increase points needed to get scorestreaks, which meant the score wouldn't reset on death); Ghosts did something similar for beginners.

Plus there is a ton of content... Zombies, campaign and of course multiplayer. Not to mention DLC. If your hesitating to buy it, don't worry, you'll enjoy it.     People stay complaining about the futuristic setting of this game, but you should really give this game a chance. I played it and personally i thought the campaign was awesome, maybe one of the better in the franchise. It really involves you in the story and makes you love the characters. So please, give this game a chance, play it for yourself.

    So after the campaign I tried the multiplayer and guess what: it was also fun. Actually, it still is a lot of fun. Its a really solid shooter and I don't get the hate. You can hate the company for releasing a very similar game every year, but its still solid. My personal highlight of the game is the Zombie mode, where you fight off hordes of zombies like in Left 4 Dead. I even purchased the season pass to get the additional 4 Zombie maps.

    Finally, it can be said, that the game is, in its core, still a COD game. i'd give it a 7,5 because after weeks, I'm still hooked. My advice: if you like fast paced shooters and its about 30 bucks, get it. You won't regret it.    … Expand

    This years COD take place in space most of the time the campaign was solid and had some good moment but it takes itself too serious i found myself wanting to like it more than i actually did, the multiplayer is more of the same, and zombies in spaceland was fun for the one match i played but also nothing new.

But rather than jumping on the hate bandwagon, I'm actually going to give my honest opinion of my personal experience with the game. The campaign is absolutely fantastic. The story it tells is interesting and filled with memorable characters and emotional impact. The core gameplay, levelInfinite Warfare is in a unique situation where most will instantly hate on it for being futuristic. But rather than jumping on the hate bandwagon, I'm actually going to give my honest opinion of my personal experience with the game. The campaign is absolutely fantastic. The story it tells is interesting and filled with memorable characters and emotional impact. The core gameplay, level design, and AI is also great making it one of the most fun Call of Duty campaigns I've played in a long time. From the fluid movement system as a soldier to flying a jackal in space, this campaign has it all. The multiplayer is decent. Its basically Black Ops 3 multiplayer, which I wasn't a big fan of because of the boost jumping and wall running. Also its pay to win because of supply drops which I don't appreciate. The new zombies mode is pretty cool, but doesn't compare to Treyarch zombies. I played it for a bit and had fun but can't see myself continuing to play it like Treyarch zombies. All around, its a good Call of Duty game. The multiplayer and zombies are decent, but its really in the campaign where it shines. The campaign is easily one of my favourites. I really feel bad for Infinity Ward, they crafted a really beautiful campaign that most people probably won't ever end up playing. If anyone is looking for a great single player experience specifically, I would definitely recommend picking Infinite Warfare up. Peace to the fallen.… Expand

    Infinite Warfare is a good game, but it certainly is a let down from the previous installment. The movement is completely stripped down from Black Ops 3 and doesn't work out for Infinite Warfare. The space theme is good. The zombies is stupid and serious enough to enjoy but ignore that and its a pretty good zombies experience. The Campaign is now one of the best Call of Duty campaigns. It was great and was much more innovative from the previous titles. One thing I was disappointed to hear was that call of duty ghosts 2 didn't release, leaving us with a cliffhanger.    … Expand

I love the humour from your robot ally EM.     There is very little to none backstory to the SDF enemy forces, including Kit H and Connor's character and it makes them very 2D and non memorable. KIT H's character sounds like a typical NAZI cookie cutter character. Also I don't feel attached to the main character Ryes.

    I think the biggest let down was not taking full advantage of the wall running and sliding mechanics like Titanfall 2. The FPS shooting action does get a bit generic, but the air space combat is refreshing and also very fun similar to old Freelancer game on PC back in the 1990s.

    Music is great.

    The zombies in spaceland is quite fun.

    I cannot comment on multiplayer as I don't like COD MP in general.    … Expand

    The dogfights are amazing, the visuals are great, and the locations are really interesting. The story is nothing special, but that's to be expected. I rented it from Redbox, but after checking it out I do think this game is worthy of a full price purchase.     I won't judge a game until I have played it. But the fact that everyone I know who has played this games said it was trash is concerning. I am going to wait till the price goes down before I go out and buy this game. because I don't want to spend all of the money on a full priced game then, end up hating it

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. My issues with the COD series really started during MW2, I played Black Ops, then a bit of MW3 then stopped.

    Here is the issues I have with this current "Adaption" on the series.
    The campaign is pretty bland, they tried adding some "In game" extras that remind me alot of Starcraft 2 but they fell short. The audio is pretty horrendous. I had to hook up my head set just hear speeches by Kit Harrington because my surround sound just sounded like garbled junk.
    The main villain which is portrayed by Kit, goes out like a **** No big boss fight, just basically a cut scene where you mess him up with a robot. And turns out his death meant almost nothing. Vs Kevin Spacey where I actually had mixed emotions over killing the guy in the previous title (Which I just played the campaign).

    Now here is the issues I have with Mulitplayer.
    The maps are small, extremely small, you will constantly be spawn killed no matter you play other than Search and Destroy. Again this is an issue dating back to MW2, sniping in this game is garbage, but it's even WORSE than previous titles. It seems every gun is laser accurate at any distance, making sniping utterly worthless. And again the maps are small so there is very little opportunity to make the sniper class work.

    If you love running and gunning mindlessly then you will LOVE this game, equip an assault rifle, and have at it.

    All and all if you want a really fun game I'd recommend Battlefield 1 over this game ANY TIME.    … Expand

    Better space battles than battlefront and the spaceland zombies are the only thing good about this game. The multiplayer is soooo bad, infected is the only thing worth playing. The campaign is so bad that I cant even remember the main characters name, Ethan and the main bad guy are the only interesting characters. The campaign way over stays its welcome.     Honestly going into this game I didn't expect much. I picked it up very cheap and decided to give it a go. To start of the campaign was decent. I don't fashion the celebrities in it and I could care less. The story is solid enough to keep you interested and there is a good amount of side missions to complete. The multiplayer I think is only slightly better than BO3's but it still goes through a terrible loot system and abilities that can be exploitative, not to mention the classes are lacking a sort of anonymity to them that just worked with the pre-Ghost games. The zombies is perhaps the strongest aspect of the game, but it gets strung with loot boxes that tie to your own resources in mp (screw off the guy who thought that was a okay idea) and still follows the one zombie map system that continues to happen without thought.

    Despite my gripes, I actually still think it is worth saying the game is fun. It just keeps doing stupid business practices and ideas that hurt its potential. I don't want Call of Duty to die; I just want it to be worked on and tested for for years like Battlefield games and really put an effort in delivering great moments like its old days.     Playing the new Call of Duty game Infinite Warfare was so fun. I really like all of the new stuff that they have added into the game. The graphics in the game are freaking amazing and they are going to get even better I hope. Even though there are a lot of things that I do like there are quite some other things that I don’t like about the game. I will tell you about them in this review.

    I think that the graphics for the game are a lot better than the previous games. The community is very fun and people tend to get along most of the time. I do like the fact that they are adding more guns and new melee weapons. It just adds more into the game and a lot more fun. I like the fact that all of the Call of Duty games have added different game modes into the game but the thing I like the mode is that they add specialty game modes during the weekends. They do limit the party limit to six players per team.

    I don’t like how the game is a pay to win game and the fact that you have to get the special stuff from the supply drops is kinda crap. I don’t like how people have to pay to get better stuff than other people. Another thing is that they don’t have too many characters to choose from. Otherwise known as specialist characters will different abilities and rank ups. It is a rated M game and that might affect the amount of people who play the game and the maturity of the players who do play.    … Expand

    As a guy that has played all 3 futuristic cod games I have to say this is in the middle for me, BO3 being better but IW being better than AW. I'm a huge Zombies fan so just to get new maps with them being disappointing or not is good enough for me. The Multiplayer is what dags the game down for me, it just doesn't play right and I don't like most of the maps.     I have played every Call of Duty since the first one, totaling hundreds upon hundreds of hours of multiplayer gameplay. I bought the deluxe version of infinite warfare and the best thing about it was the modern warfare remastered and the socks. Infinite warfare is seen as a fail with many from the CoD community for ignoring the constructive suggestions provided and for feeling as if itI have played every Call of Duty since the first one, totaling hundreds upon hundreds of hours of multiplayer gameplay.     I was expecting the worst when I bought this game since I was a big fan of the boots on the ground MW2 and Call of Duty World at War. However I found the single player campaign very enjoyable. I first completed all the side missions to get all the bonus's and upgrades and found them quite enjoyable however somewhat repetitive at moments. I was satisfied with the ending and the message thatI was expecting the worst when I bought this game since I was a big fan of the boots on the ground MW2 and Call of Duty World at War. However I found the single player campaign very enjoyable. I was satisfied with the ending and the message that came out of the story. However I did find it rather lackluster as I completed the game in a few short hours after starting.

    Online multiplayer I can't say I am a fan of due to everyone flying around in the sky and running off walls I find really ridiculous as well as some of the "perks?" or kill streaks that allow an enemy to suddenly fly back to where he was 4 seconds ago completely catching me off guard to "what the **** was that?" then getting killed by him seconds later not understanding what the **** had happened.

    Overall I enjoyed the story however the multiplayer is just plain awful. Honestly I can't wait for Call of Duty WW2. Back to boots on the ground no stupid super powers. (These are just my opinions and I hope you pick the up the game and decide for yourself.)    … Expand

    Its not because is goes to space, its because of the unique story it brings, the stunning in game graphics. The zombie map though was a let down, but overall this game excels at the space-shooter genre in all ways!

    For me, multiplayer was a huge disappointment. The maps are much more dull than BO3 and the combat specialists are kind of lame. Play Black Ops 3 instead, a much better experience overall (although I will say the graphics are fantastic and loading speeds aren't as awful as BO3). Zombies in Spaceland was a good time. I actually have not played this game's campaign.

    Looking back on my least favorite Cod game, I realize that it wasn't all bad. I actually liked the single player campaign and I have fond memories of it. The multiplayer is where I had problems. It felt like they didn't even try with the maps and I was bored of the gameplay after a couple hours. It didn't really have that call of duty feeling. Overall I would give it a 6.1.

The space battles were ok but it did feel more like a simulation than the immersion of actually fighting in space, next the ground combat was the norm, but that's a little disappointing since it overhauled with futuristic weaponry and an abundance of what the hell attachments.

    Besides the game mechanics the story was alright, the characters floundered in any real attachment but it was understandable to see where it was progressing, it's just that it felt more like I had put on a cheap budget film, with b rated actors and the budget was blown on a few fancy graphics.

    On the whole the game flopped and to be honest this whole franchise is taking a steep nose dive into deep water with it's fans, I'm not really a Call of Duty fan but this was just a disappointment, the last Call of Duty game I played prior was an even massive failure so it got better kinda, the one before ok, and the one before that goes back a few years to the PS2, Call of Duty Finest Hour, that was pretty good but still traded that for Medal of Honor European Assault.

    Let's face it Call of Duty is not the bear standard of FPS War games anymore, and quite frankly that's good, because if other developers copied what Call of Duty did then we may never see a good FPS War game ever again.    … Expand

    Call of Duty burnout is a real thing. The series hasn’t really tried anything too new except for new technology and going into the future. This game also had a rough introduction, being one of the most disliked videos on YouTube at the time so there is a perception it’s a horrible game with a terrible campaign.

    The truth is, the campaign is actually very good. Now, I don’t play multiplayer, but the campaign has probably the best intro of the series. It jumps you right into the action of a surprise attack and it goes from there. The game takes the fight into space and the space combat actually isn’t horrible. It’s not an excellent space combat simulator and it is pretty basic in nature, but I felt that made it more easy to get ahold of. The space combat was fun and that’s what matters.

    The set-piece battles are also great. Sometimes a bit over the top but I enjoyed them. The zero gravity segments are extremely well done and while they don’t follow the laws of physics to a T it gets the job done. It’s not the most realistic thing, it is a COD game after all but it was entertaining.

    The game is structured a bit like Mass Effect and that’s a good thing. You have a hub where you decide where to go. You can watch newscasts of recaps of your missions and I like that touch. There you can choose your loadout, ala Black Ops 3 and any other things. It’s not too expanded. It’d be nice if it had Mass Effect’s dialog tree but this is a COD game, not an RPG so I’ll not knock it too much for that.

    One thing, this game does well is side missions. The main campaign is short. Probably 4 hours, maybe 5 if you’re playing on a harder difficulty. The side content does add a few extra hours. They’re nothing too special. Mostly destroy missions or board a space ship, go to the exit and destroy or steal something but I did enjoy them. The space combat ones probably could be skipped but I liked the ‘boarding starships’ ones and I suggest doing all of those. It does make a short game a bit longer, you probably could beat it in about 7 hours.

    The visuals and voice acting were top notch. I loved the environmental effects on each planet. Venus was especially mesmerizing.

    It may be short but the campaign was a thrill from start to finish and had some great shocking moments. I truly was surprised at the quality of it. Right now COD: IW is very cheap. Less than 10 dollars in the USA. It’s well worth a purchase. This is one of those campaigns I could go back to. It may not be as good as Titanfall 2’s campaign but it’s pretty close and in my opinion, is the best COD campaign since Modern Warfare 1 and 2. I loved it that much.

    If you’re sick of the futuristic COD’s, this won’t win you over. If you liked Black Ops 2 and 3 and Advanced Warfare this is a must play.

    If you’re open-minded, give it a shot! It’s not as horrible as the public made it seem and it’s surprisingly great. If you can find a new copy with a code for Modern Warfare Remastered, that is well worth your time investing in what little extra that costs, since you get two great games for the price of one cheap one.    … Expand

The same fate nearly met Doom 2016, just because helmet of doom guy resembled halo's. It's just like every other cod. I like more futuristic set-up for a change.     What I noticed about cod, is    Gamers are like 'it's more futuristic than before, let's call it halo and rebel against it'. Seriously, gamers are the worst. The same fate nearly met Doom 2016, just because helmet of doom guy resembled halo's. It's just like every other cod. I like more futuristic set-up for a change. Weapons feels really good and maps are beautiful. Just same old cod.

    What I noticed about cod, is that every year gamers are **** about getting the same game, but they are still buying it. Once developers listen to these comments and make cod a little bit different (infinite warfare, ww2), gamers are still ****, but not buying it this time.

    10/10 Great target practice. Oh, not in game, I mean IRL. The game was pretty much filled with advanced movement and rigs that made the game infuriating.

All of the environments and vehicles were designed well to fit the theme.     The graphics in this game are very good. The character backgrounds are very intricately crafted. The guns are balanced.

    And finally, the story was able to make me feel like I was really there. It is by far the best CoD campaign storyline that they have ever made. It got me very attached to the characters to the point where it was really heartwrenching when someone died because you think about all the conversations that you have made and you really can sit down and think about it like real life. They lost their lives, it doesn't feel synthetic at all. Think about it like losing a really good friend, one that you have spent so much time with and you have known them for years.

    I got lost listening to the soundtrack multiple times. It is such a beautiful piece that fits the game perfectly.

    People need to start playing CoD for the campaign instead of just the multiplayer. The story is just so so deep and you really need to play the campaign to feel it.    … Expand

There's scientists who says if something is trending or people expect something they will believe it but I don't want to go too deep into science about a video game.     Campaña maravillosa y multi mucho mejor que BO 3, con un time to kill mucho mejor y una facilidad para conseguir armas nuevas que en BO3 y 4 con lo rata que es Treyarch es imposible. Además de que si tienes el pase de temporada consigues las armas directamente.

I thought the multiplayer was just very generic. The campaign is pretty awesome. It's all about spac and travelling to different planets through the solar system. My favourite character was Ethan because he was loyal and seeing people get along well is fun to watch. The zombies is really good, too bad there was only one non-DLC map but the map itself is awesome. A small group of teenagers sent into a horror movie set at a theme park in the 1980's. Me and my best friend have played this and we absolutely love it. The graphics are insane.… Expand

    I for one love jetpacks and mobility I understand that not everyone does and if you don't then don't play this game. The maps are fine in my opinion but what I really like in a C.O.D game is a good campaign that immerses me in the universe and that infinite warfare does. It's a great campaign and it tries to be different it feels special and you attach yourself to the characters. In conclusion veterans may not like it but it's still a worthwhile game which most can have a good time playing.… Expand

    I will note cod iw on one factor, the campaign.
    and as a fan of sf I had everything:
    simple and effective scenrio.
    perfect universe at war.
    graphics and general concepts excellent.
    fun at the top.
    I did not do the muli, so I will not write it down.
    my rating will be 5 because I have done only the solo, but c a solo which is worth 10.

    Amazing game, I'm glad I gave it an opportunity i loved the story, the music and the credits... Oh my God, the credits almost made me cry... and the MP is really good as well as the zombies mode.

    I feel so bad for the review bombing this game got, it didn't deserve it.

    I just wish I could see another game like this one on the future...

    -La Campaña: De las mejores que jugué en un Cod, personajes muy encariñables, historia muy buena llegando mucho a los sentimientos del jugador en varias ocasiones y llevada de buena manera, ninguna de las misiones se sienten pesadas y también cuenta con misiones secundarias las cuales alguna que otra si se puede hacer    El juego en sí es muy bueno, pero tiene sus pequeños defectos también:
    -La Campaña: De las mejores que jugué en un Cod, personajes muy encariñables, historia muy buena llegando mucho a los sentimientos del jugador en varias ocasiones y llevada de buena manera, ninguna de las misiones se sienten pesadas y también cuenta con misiones secundarias las cuales alguna que otra si se puede hacer algo pesada pero en general están muy bien y amplían y le dan más duración a una campaña de una manera que te dan ganas de hacerlas y sentirte como si la vivieras.

    -Multijugador: Acá empieza algunos de los problemas que tiene este juego y es que las armas varias se sienten igual o parecidas, a veces el time to kill es inexplicable y las diferencias entre modelos a veces ni se notaban, pero tiene buenos mapas en general, las armas que si se sienten bien son bastante buenas, los especialistas son una cosa totalmente distintas y es que no hubo innovación alguna en ellos asique ni los explicaré, pero en si un multijugador decente y entretenido.

    -Zombies: Los zombies... la verdad no me gustaron pero tienen su esencia con su nueva historia basada en el diablo(espero no confundirme ya que casi ni los jugué), no me llamaron la atención en lo más mínimo, al menos el primer mapa, muy enrevesado, un desperdicio, las bebidas o cartas como son acá no son la gran cosa, el Easter Egg sin mínimo interés de conseguirlo salvo por los jefes, los jefes diría que es lo único que se salvan ya que son muy difíciles incluso si son 4, pero por lo demás solo sirve para una partida con amigos cuando no tenes otra cosa que hacer.

    -Técnico: En sí el apartado técnico no tiene nada que envidiarle a otros juegos ya que son muy buenos como en todas las entregas de este shooter famoso de activision.    … Expand

    the same cannot be said about multiplayer. the stuff that you use in the campaign's barely used in multiplayer there are so many Kill Bill use invisible walls that make it sew on fun not to mention the amount of customization just makes it so tedious. not to mention it is a pay-to-win dumpster fire. loot boxes and all that makes spending money truly a great way to get an advantage. .so the multiplayer is a pay-to-win dumpster fire that sucks.

    Not a big fan of more recent cod or battfields but I saw this at my local the exchange store and bought it after I looked up the gameplay and WOW do I like the campaign. I would like to see more on this version of CoD instead of balck ops, modern or cold War. It nice to see a new take on it instead of what they ha e been doing. One wish for the next version tho power slide

    Okay story and characters ( Ethan is great), but CDF are just villains for the sake of it and especially main antagonist, who makes no sense. Good zombies iteration, if you're into it, probably the best CoD multiplayer in PS4 era before MW, great visuals and sounds. I'd say its s 7-8 game. But i'll rate it 10, to even a little this hate train, made by babies, BF fans and just random CoD haters.

    i finished this game some 2-4 times on hard dificulties, it never gets boring and its realy good, why the hate guys? the game is realy great, story, gameplay, and the best of all, the spaceships!

    As a whole package, all the praise should be going toward the single player experience, and I'd never thought I'd say that about a Call of Duty game in a long time. But in all honestly, it’s true. As for the multiplayer, it makes for an incredibly mundane and subpar experience that almost parodies itself. Completely making it very difficult to recommend the game as a whole.

    Good old Infinity Ward is back and not just with Modern Warfare Remastered! The single player campaign (the best in years!) alone is enough to give Infinite Warfare a chance. Just like with Doom and Titanfall 2 I expected nothing from the game and was shocked with how good it turned out to be. [13/2016, p.34]
