    I completed this **** game in 5h. Anything more to say?

    I bought COD for the campaign. I DO NOT like to play online. After 5h of playing I finished completely the campaign.
    Selling a 60euro game for 5h playing IS A FRAUD.

    I will NEVER buy another COD in my life and NEVER advice any friends to do that.
    I am completely disappointed by the game and the system.

    This game is still broken 6 months post launch. They need to get their **** together, stop making overpriced bundles and focus on fixing the damn game. It’s unplayable.

    Otra gran decepción. No se ni por donde empezar, porque hay tantas cosas mal y tantas que llevan mal tanto tiempo que ya me da hasta pereza tener que volver a explicarlas aquí. Pero vamos a intentarlo de forma breve, para que no digan que es otra nota desde el odio. Comenzar diciendo que después de haber jugado al cod desde el año 2003 al 2015 y haberlo abandonado por asco y cansancio,Otra gran decepción. No se ni por donde empezar, porque hay tantas cosas mal y tantas que llevan mal tanto tiempo que ya me da hasta pereza tener que volver a explicarlas aquí. Pero vamos a intentarlo de forma breve, para que no digan que es otra nota desde el odio. Comenzar diciendo que después de haber jugado al cod desde el año 2003 al 2015 y haberlo abandonado por asco y cansancio, esta entrega me tenía ilusionado, ya que el primer Black Ops es una de mis entregas favoritas.
    En el apartado técnico el juego podría ser mucho mejor, por momentos parece un DLC del Mwf ralentizado y con otras skins, Animaciones regulares, (la del lanzamiento de granadas es para darle un premio o algo) interacción con los escenario prácticamente nula, problemas de rendimientos, problemas de conexión (si, sigue habiendo partidas con gente que te ve un segundo antes aunque tenga 500Mb simétricos en 2020), etc…ya ,tampoco se molestaron ni en imitar los acentos en el doblaje como en otras entregas para ambientar, solo por estos detalles se merece mala nota.
    Si entramos a valorar que es una saga con muchos años de experiencia, cosas como que entrar 12h más tarde a jugar que otras personas me supongan casi no poder jugar y morir continuamente por no tener desbloqueado alguna ventaja y estar todo el rato resaltado en el mapa, muriendo por las rachas, o la desventaja de algún accesorio de arma a estas alturas, es ridículo y frustrante a partes iguales. No me quiero imaginar la gente que está esperando por Ps5 para jugarlo si a esta gente le dejan importar su perfil la que les espera.(Hay cross play con Ps5 y si juegas en una Ps4 juega en desventaja) Pero bueno, estas cosas a muchos no les molestan, si no puedo estar 24h jugando COD en mi casa como los Pros o comprarme un Ps5 aunque quiera porque no las hay, es mi problema, claro.
    El balanceo es incomprensible ya que a mi ayer con nivel 12 me metía en muchas partidas llenas de gente de más de 30 de nivel y cosas así También me da que pensar que si hay cross play entre Ps4 y Ps5, en Ps4 será mejor ni jugar ya. Que encima pongas las rachas por puntos para dinamizar el juego, que me parece muy bien,(es mentira da mas puntos hacer racha de muertes que tomar banderas, por ejemplo) pero se sigan usando mecánicas que en vez animar a jugar en movimiento premian que la gente se quede estática, como el sonido exagerado de los pasos (literalmente parece que van a caballo) y que encima pongas un micro que los amplifica en una zona, es la guinda del pastel. En fin, no me extiendo mas que mi tiempo también vale dinero, una retahíla de cosas, que en menos de 24h, me quitaron la ilusión por jugarlo. Si a todo esto le sumamos que el viernes no, pero ayer sábado ya había gente haciendo trampas. Pues me siento muy defraudado y con la sensación de haber tirado mi dinero. Un saludo    … Expand

    I am disappointed very bad graphics just horror for this year poor visibility in multiplayer and because of bad graphics it is not possible to distinguish the player in the texture the plot is not bad but this is only for a few hours the most important multiplayer and it is terrible

    Bad servers, bad netcode and full of hackers. Campaign was fine. Keep seeing intrusive ads for this on Modern Warfare which is 100x better than this turd of a game. Ironically has more campers than Modern Warfare especially in Nuketown.

    Absolute trash game. Massive step back in the franchise from MW and doesnt deserve to ne called a sequel to the original Black Ops. Original black ops a decade later still is better in every way. This is an outrage, a shambles, an abomination.

    Refund the game to make Blizzard, Activision understand that this isnt on.

    Pressing the Options button freezes the screen in zombie mode and I have had the same problem over and over again. It does not come back from there, it is necessary to turn it off and on. also when you come back you cannot join the same game

I disconnected my Ps4 from the internet and fired the game back up (as I was only interested in its campaign) and I had still was forced to agree to allow all my private information be stolen from me.     You put in the disc, and it downloads a 20 gig update. AS A WARNING. This does not mean you can play the single player game. because that's NOT on the disc. No you have to download 3 separate campaign parts (13+ gig each) before you can play the game.

Pitiful map pool no launch, terrible hit registration for PC, crazy OP and generally broken aim assist.     This game made 10 steps back compared to Modern Warfare. It feels like a 10 year old shooter. The SBMM is ridiculous. The whole game is made for feeding Warzone and get people to buy this just to level the weapons for Warzone. Another way to get our money for the lowest effort possible.     Worst game i've played so far. Unfinished content, even CoD's that are over 10 years old had more content when the game released. The campaign feels like it was being rushed. Don't get me started at zombies. I have tried 6 times, 6 times the easter egg. Always there was something, a bug, the game just froze i mean like what the **** lol **** this game i spend 100 euros on nothing

    SBMM, SBMM and SBMM, I play nothing recommended unless you only play the campaign and the zombies, hence the Multiplayer is a reverend garbage because of the SBMM, the only way that the SBMM does not bother you is that you are noob, if you are good at playing, even a little, you will stress a lot

    Based on the trailers with Regan and Yuri Bezmenov I thought for sure this game would be based. But instead it's just an anti American propaganda piece. I've literally bought every single Treyarch Call of Duty because I am an avid Zombies fan. Never again.

    I was so excited for this campain too. Screw you Activition. Get woke go broke.

    Even with having above the recommended specs on PC my game still drops in FPS down to 8 FPS for like 4-5 seconds out of nowhere, EVERY MATCH. This is a horrible lazily optimized port of this game and it makes me sad to say, but I will be getting a refund and (maybe) playing when it gets fixed. Absolutely unacceptable for a $60 dollar game released in 2020. Such a cheap cash grab.

    This game is repetitive and boring and bad. They’ve used an old engine from 2015 & didn’t bother with a major upgrade to the game. Modern warfare reboot of 2019 was the real upgrade using a fresh new engine to the whole franchise. This game is a downgrade compared to the 2019 COD, worse graphics, audio & visuals, not worth it. Treyarch at this point are the worst studio making COD.

Huge disappointment. Back to your character being 80 years old, he can’t draw a gun fast, it takes about two seconds or 3 for him to draw a weapon. The recoil system doesn’t make sense, yall trying to make these goofy plastic guns realistic?? and adding horizontal and vertical recoil what the f. Aiming system is slow and very buggy. Having attachment is like putting potatoes to your gun. Trowing a grenade is like him trowing a stone of 20lb , everything is slow, not making it fast pace game, made it so boring sloppy. Perk system its fine, this game should be called CALL OF DUTY BLACK OP SPY PLANE, if you not level 17 you gonna have a hard time finding people since a spy plane its always being called unless you got a 90-100lb of rockets launcher in your back. ZOMBIES:
    This is the worst **** that CALL OF DUTY EVER MADE lol.
    This is a joke. Putting damage system like its apex legends? Its really wack you have zombies at wave 10 out running you the dogs are the most annoying **** the dog round is so disgusting, putting the whole place in a green neon bright color you cant even see **** even if you got stamina the dogs still out run you, if you kill them, now you have to worry about the aftermath (aka explosive radiation). Again the way you shoot and aim its very cluncky, you can’t survive a game to wave 30 without you having a wonder weapon or ray gun. Stamina makes you run from 2 sec to 5 secs. Its a mess. Then you have a boss of around 8k-9k that 2 shots you with his fist after that lol wtf he splits and now you have two bosses of 8k of health each like wtf is that. The only mode that is currently very fun is Onslaught. Thats is more balanced. IN CONCLUSION: This game was clearly rushed. Treyarch had an opportunity to wait a while and make it like modernwarfare but make it better then that such as, making 3 line maps because everyone dislikes huge maps, but ofc they dont listen, making the guns like modernwarfare did, and keep the perk system that cold war offers. Making it fast pace. This game is like CALL OF DUTY MOBILE but upgraded with ps4 graphics, the graphics of this game looks like ps3 graphics. loading assets takes a lot time. This for me I thought that MW was garbage but this game is straight dog **** MAJOR BUGS THAT MAKE THE GAME EVEN WORSE:
    • At time the controller would disconnect and start flashing making it unable to connect back to ps4 so you have to turn the whole ps4 off. The only way to fix this, is to go to setting>controller> go to the option where is say connect controller wireless or with a usb cable, the problem here, is that you wont be able to use your mic, and you have to stay connected with the usb cable on the ps4 dualshock.
    • The game is disconnecting a lot in zombies or “connection interrupted” And it lags a lot around round 15-17. • When people talk on the mic it like breaks making unable to understand what their saying.    … Expand

It’s literally straining my eyes, my eyes start throbbing like I got stung by a wasp with the swine flue in my cornias. I can’t see anything, a headglitching nerd 40 meters away is literally invisible because there are 3 pixels on the screen. And no, ur not missing ur 3D glasses, the game does not look loke that because it’s 3D. It’s just disposable waste. This game lacks detail. The guns look so blocky and plastic, They might as well have taken models from roblox. The dev team is garbage, they all need to be sentenced to running on a hamster wheel until they drop into a faceplant and get rapidly spun around in circles until they puke up their mcdonalds sausage buscuits for this nonsense. The maps are trash and huge. I literally sprint around for 3 minutes straight looking behind every crevice, pre-aiming and bunny hopping through every door finding nobody because theses maps are the size of College Universities, only to get drop shotted in the butt hole by a bolt action sniper who spawned 3 feet behind me because the spawns are diabolical. The game is literally cheating. My aim get thrown around nerds when I try to get them in my sights like they have a fricken force field. My bullets go straight through these dweebs like they are fricking tobi from naruto. I’m literally shooting these nerds in their heads putting shotgun barrels up their nostrils and the bullets go straight through them and I get beamed. Skill based match making makes it to where if you so much as go positve, you get thrown into lobbies full of nothing but unkempt neckbead mouse and keyboard draculas who haven’t seen the sun in 3 months using their giant stack of empty ubereats pizza boxes as a gaming chair and smelling like shIIIIIIIIIITE! Why is scump in my lobby? This is terrible. The streak system blows it takes damn near a nuke in past cods to get a weak choppy in this one. Gotta go a whole match without dying basically to get a choppy only to get how many kills with it? That’s right... none. The visibility is piss poor, due to the strange lighting on the darker maps and the wonky animations for the character models. This game will be put to rest and give up on within 3 months. Why can't they just continue to update MW?

    The zombies is forgettable. Boring and bland. Campaign is short and cheesey.

I’ve only had the game for a day and this is the most disappointing call of duty I’ve ever played the campaign was so good up until the end where they pull a plot twist that felt really out of its place and you never really get to know the characters well
    Mason and woods were basically side kicks and didn’t do much in the main story

    The multiplayer is terrible the maps have no flow at all and there’s to many door ways and windows, every time I see someone and try to aim I’m already dead because two people walked up behind me And even if you shoot first half the time you die anyway and all of the guns are either so op that they’re broken or they do such little damage your better off fighting with an MRE spoon and they only have 8 maps at launch which yeah there’s probably gonna be more but that is just lazy

    The zombies feels like serious Sam but that’s about it.

    Over all I want my 60 dollars back and I I wouldn’t recommend this game at all just watch the radbrad play the story if you wanna see it that bad    … Expand

    I only bought the game for couch coop... At launch, no offline, after the update, there is none. What a disappointment this is my last cod game. The ttk is a good middle ground and the multiplayer maps are better than the last one. Zombies got updated but now feels too easy and the buildables/Easter egg got simplified.

    The COD campaign used to be known for a pretty decent story. Funny quips, good drama. This one feels hollow. The jokes fall flat, the righteous indignation contrived. I just get the feeling that someone wanted to write America bad, socialists good story. They did a terrible job.
    Multiplayer is fun so far, but I imagine hackers will ruin it shortly.

James C Burns could have sparked the character of Woods. Alex Mason was another dogsh*t. Totally disrespecting the character from the prequel. The campaign is, for the most part, feels like Cold War, but doesn't feel like Black Ops. The location are pretty good, but doesn't honor the coolness and the stage set by its prequel. The game, once again has Russians as the villain. The game doesn't want to be innovative. Part of it is due to the toxic community. Surprisingly, the game wants to be non linear. But it feels like the game wanted to do it intentionally so as to earn good reviews about its innovations, something the og cod fans have seen in Black Ops II. A sequel of an awesome game should be innovative and iterative in order to get back the fans who loved the game in the first place. (PS. the AI is so fu*king terrible.)
    The story isn't consistent with the Black Ops trilogy (i.e., BO1, BOCW and BO2). The game wants to explore more ways to let players interact, which hasn't been explored in previous cod titles, and that's the selling point of this game. Overall, campaign is pretty kickass as on its own as a cod game, not as a Black Ops game.
    Now, the multiplayer. This game ranks one above MW 2019 in offering map variety. Eight. Eight fu*king maps!? CoD 4, a game that's 13 years old offered 17 maps. Heck, the prequel this game's based upon offer 14 maps. This is atrocious. Activision/Treyarch have done this intentionally so that they can release cut content as free map dlcs to get good pr. This is completely unacceptable. The gameplay is suited for the campaign, not for the multiplayer. Movement feels clunky and slow. Hit registration is not great. SBMM sucks. Map variety is less. The game wants to feel like BlOps2 multiplayer, but utterly fails at it. The game is yet to implement ranked playlists in its existence of 18 years.
    The Zombies can be fun, but makes Infinite Warfare's zombies a masterpiece and make it comparable to Black Ops 4's zombies. It doesn't feel like zombies. But its, meh. (BTW only 1 map)
    Overall, this game isn't worth 60$. Its atrocious of Activision to charge 70$ for a game that has a lifespan of less than a year. Not worth it. If Treyarch/Activision can use the excuse of COVID 19 for their mistakes, how come the pandemic hasn't stopped them charging players 70$ to play the game?
    This game is one of the worst optimized cod games. The size is ridiculous for the content it offers. Has Treyarch forgotten about compression. It wouldn't be fair as they barely have time to optimize this game as this is an annual release.
    The PS-Activision deal is total dogsh*t. Exclusive zombies mode, extra loadout slots and multipliers on XP on a single platform for one year for a game that barely survives a year of release. Great!
    I give a 1/10 for the things it want's to try in campaign. Now, the fanboys and the "connoisseurs" of call of duty will starting ****    … Expand

I'm not a fan of either studio nor do I care. As a consumer, I just want a good game. I mean it didn't take long for people to realize that they cut corners and released an unfinished product. The guns sound like plastic. TheI had to make an account to let people know how bad this game is. I mean it's the end of 2020 and for some odd reason treyarch decided to go backwards with this game.     Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War ends up mirroring what the Call of Duty franchise offered last year, with some new additions that are also welcome, especially for long-term fans. While being set during a very intense period, the campaign ends up erring for its disappointing longevity, even though the value of repetition is intrinsic to it. Zombies are back in style, while multiplayer gains an excellent new mode, but here it errs again for the arsenal's lack of variety.

    While Cold War is a part of a series I would have said that I loved, I can’t fully embrace it now knowing that this work is trucking in harmful stereotypes via patriotic-tinged gameplay. A decent CoD multiplayer experience will likely emerge from the currently-underwhelming Cold War, but I’m going to seriously consider whether that gameplay is worth enduring (and supporting) the rest.
